    Thank you so much for your tips! I have been in agongy for a month now after holding my mouth open to two hours at the dentist. Now I was officially diagnosed with TMJD. The pain is so bad, I wasn't sure I could live like this forever... I'm just happy to have some tips available to me. It's the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. 😮‍💨

    Hi Dr. Mistry,
    Ironically, I bought two facial rollers just before you made the related video. One is a single-sided roller made of rose quartz. It looks just like yours only one-sided. The other looks just yours, double-sided, but is black obsidian. I hadn't used either yet because I wasn't sure which one would be better to use, nor was I sure how to use them, how often, etc. Your video helped cover the latter questions... thanks! Would you please recommend which type would be better, the rose quartz or obsidian? I feel more confident and willing to try using one after watching your video, but not sure which type is better.

      I'm sorry but I really don't know the answer to your question about which one would be better. I'd recommend trying them both and testing it out.

    Thank you Dr. Mistry for all these videos! Is it true that when you feel pressure on your teeth it's because the bone is out of the socket? I've been feeling a lot of pressure lately in the upper jaw and sometimes I feel like my teeth don't fit anymore :(

    • @theTMJdoc
      @theTMJdoc  Год назад

      No, pressure on your teeth does not necessarily mean the bone is out of the socket.

    Can teenagers use this? I've been experiencing pain in my jaw from a long time. And, it even causes headache. Can it relieve the pain?

      Yes teenagers can experience this. Massage may help but is not a good long term solution.

    I have been using this roller for a while, thank you for educating on how to use this roller., but not sure if i am using it correct way, can we use this roller on both direction back and forth ? Is there any harm by using roller that has small spikes on one end?

    • @theTMJdoc
      @theTMJdoc  Год назад +1

      I wouldn't recommend using one with spikes on the end :)

    Can you please advise doctor if a person got TMJ at age 12 and continue to have 30 years later, then what sort of damage can be observed after such a long time from your experience and what information can we get from CT scan done? 🙏🙏🙏

      Hi, that's not an easy question to answer. It depends on what causes the issue and how the issue progresses. Please watch the following video regarding CBCT vs. MRI.
