  • BIG. THICC. CRISPY. TEXAS TOAST ONLY.
If you know.. you know.. it's day two in the hallowed valley and we are hunting for the biggest brown trout. We know they are lurking and we are ready to serve the hoppers like some hot and buttery Texas toast.
All jokes aside, this was an absolutely crazy day. Kowalsky and I both got on some massive brown trout. Upper teens was the average but I wouldn't doubt we scrapped lower 20's on a few of these bucky browns. What a start to the day.

We’ve been in Colorado since mid June starting north at Walden. The rivers are low. Fished the North Platte, Yampa, Blue, Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Arkansas, Conejos and Rio Grande. We are retired and full time in our motorhome. I’m not a beginner but not super experienced. I’ve caught some decent browns but nothing like your success. I haven’t had any luck with hopper droppers so I just use a yarn indicator and drop a nymph. The yarn floats better than any of my hoppers is more visible for my 70 year old eyes and doesn’t get dragged down as much. Your adjustable dropper is innovative but I don’t tie you should sell them. Thanks for your content.

Thanks for being cool and helping us beginners out by telling us where we can catch nice fish. I hate those dickheads on here who on their videos say " I'm not gonna tell you what stream I am fishing, in fact, I won't even tell you what state". Eff those gys, why have a fishing channel then? Keep up the good work and I look forward to more of your vids!

Chris.. I will be honest.. It really bothers me too.. Especially when everywhere I go is listed on government websites or listed out clearly in angling books. Some folks like to pretend public land is their own personal finite resource... But in reality you can find fish almost anywhere. Thank you very much for the support!!

@@FLYALLSZN Yeh it's fun to say, I mostly euro nymph but got really into the klink n dink at the end of the last season catching some stotters of my local river leven brownies, I started my own dedicated channel called trout pursuit after putting a few videos on this account but soon as I did, flooded river then end of season lol

I was wondering what you use to warm your water up while out there? I seen you using it, but couldn’t remember if you mentioned what it was called and what video it was in!
