    As a Welshie the first case has really, really stuck with me.
    Coal mines are pretty interesting. In Wales, depending on where you grow up, a very common school trip you can go on often will have you literally going down these old mines with a tour guide. They’re so eerie, they’re cold, windy, dark and dangerous. The wind howls through them and it does sound incredibly haunting. Rocks also love to fall so if you’re not wearing a hard miners hat you’re going to get brained.

      @@Caspians_Corner oh fr it’s incredibly creepy!!
      also it’s funny because going down the mines with a tour guide is surprisingly very zen! As long as you’re bundled up warm it’s not as scary as it sounds. The routes the tour guides take you are pretty wide and well lit thanks to everyone’s headlamps. Something they always do during the tour is to tell everyone to turn their lamps off for a few seconds just so you can see how dark it is. It’s absolutely mad tbh, it’s the darkest place I’ve ever been. As long as you’re not overly claustrophobic the experience isn’t scary at all. It’s a really great way to learn about how a lot the countries old working class and poor families would make their living. It’s such a dangerous and labour intensive job but it was very popular at the time. When the coal mines shut down it caused a major issue in Wales and parts of England as people’s livelihoods were cut off. The history behind it all is very fascinating!
      While most of the mines that have been abandoned aren’t open to the public like the ones that provide tours do, just like the French catacombs it wouldn’t surprise me if those old tunnels were being trespassed on. Usually to get down the mine you use a lift but again, people will just find ways around it and it’s not as if every single old mine opening is being guarded 24/7. It would be incredibly dangerous to go down there without someone who knows the tunnel systems, there are so many branching paths that it’s easy to get lost. As much as I love visiting the old coal mines I wouldn’t EVER go down there without a tour guide lmao.

    As a daughter of a "gangstalked" mother, it hurts, to see her not be like how she used to be, any time I make an effort to talk to her, she only make refernces of how "they" are "picking through the walls, or, swapping her clothes, turning off the fridge"... you're really speaking to the mental illness that now controls them, it really hurts because it feels like sometimes their not there anymore and you wonder where did they go.
    I want to be mad at her when I chat to her, or when watching a movie with her, and she tries SHOEHORN a situation/something that just happened to her today to a scene in a movie like, idk like Bullet Train or The Irishman that that is not even remotely related to her situation, just so she can mention it to me, even though I dont want to hear it, because I hear the same thing 50 times a day, everday, its all she ever talks about, and I try so hard to make her happy/not think about it for even just a split second because I dont like seeing her like this :(
    It sucks this situation, its like expierencing grief, and frustration at a invisible perpatraitor (that doesnt exist) ruining someone you know, you have not outlet for the frustration either, being mad at the her is unfair because I mean she didnt purposely want to be like this.
    She wont leave the house or do things she likes to do anymore because she thinks people are out to get her. I have told her, many times, she should see someone for these issues, maybe they can help, she doesn't listen.
    Arguments are even worse, because again I dont feel like its fair on her. She feels like shes not being heard & no one around her ''seems to care'' about issues like people spying on us because thats her version of reality, that is VERY real to her unfortauntly, but, how do you fix issues that dont exist, without "proving her right/solidfying her delisions even more?... She may say awful things to me out of anger in these arguments but I tell her, even after her saying those things, I still love her because she's my mum. She has fleeting moments she goes "back to normal" but they dont last long.
    I still hope she might get a little better if I keep trying to take her outside to take her to things but its very hard & tiring.

    • @whatabouttheearth
      @whatabouttheearth 5 месяцев назад +12

      Well, sort of, but not really. When they are actually real, as in being employed by a group, the idea is to be deniable but for the target to know it. So it's essentially increasing odd plausibly deniable events to where the target gets it, because they experienced it ten or twenty times this week, let's say for instance, a blue car blinking their lights three or four times, but to someone standing right next to them it just looks like some random event, and it will be more subtle of someone else is there, a blue car blinking their lights once. The manufacturing of paranoia in a non paranoic person, the target, has already began. It's a form of gaslighting done by groups.
      I was put in similar programs from having a wireless BCI put on my head at Camp Clark under US Army Cadre at a "Challenge program" who said "we're gonna do a little experiment", and then later on the command ship of the 6th Fleet, the USS LaSalle, when I was in the Marines, then had some "meetings" even later when I was in the Army (Challenge Program, Marines, then Army). This isn't the normal thing I think the real ones are encountering but it's similar and inherently designed to discredit the target. I SORT OF volunteered (not informed consent, always through deception).
      The thing about real gangstalking carried out by governments and organized crime is that it's methodology intentionally seeks to cause the target to seem mentally ill, and so therefore hopefully after a while actually induce mental ilness, this was clearly pointed out in the Stazi files on Zersetzung, and V2K is based on the 'Frey Effect'. Of course there are people with mental illness who are not actually going through targeting or gangstalking who think they are. It's sometimes even difficult for actual targets to discern who is an actual target, it is designed to be subtle and induce extra paranoia on top of what is really there, so to exacerbate the reality. In the military they have wireless BCIs that are placed on your head and an odd metal camera type thing that they'll "film" you with. There is a dossier and paperwork of I remember right. These ARE NOT normal technologies.
      The problem is that people talking about the rhe real thing online causes others who are ONLY suffering mental illness to think that that is what's happening when it's not, so they add alot of other stuff.
      With people who are actually being targeted it's intended to be subtle like gaslighting to cause a target to start feeling it's happening even when it no longer is. Causing it to mimic or instill mental illness is a primary cover.

      ‼️This is why Ernest Hemingway ended himself. He was a famous author in the early to mid 1900s. And mental illness ran in his family. But he had like a house in Cuba he had ties to cuba. And he believed his phone was being tapped and people were following him around and no one in his life believed him. Everyone told him dude you're mentally ill, you need help, the government isn't watching you or spying on you or following you around. And so he just started drinking more and more and more and he ended up ending himself because he believed he was going l.oc.o like he had seen happened to other members of his family. As it turned out the government released a bunch of documents about 10 years ago HEMINGWAY WAS RIGHT! THE GOVERNMENT WAS WATCHING HIM. It was during the Red scare and so they were watching him due to his ties to Communism and cuba. And in fact they had been watching him for a total of like 15 years. And they started watching him like 5 years before he even noticed. The government killed him.
      And even today most schools and stuff will teach you he ended himself because he was an alcoholic or because he was mentally ill. He is added to list of famous authors or artists with mental illness. List of geniuses with mental illness. And it makes me so mad. Hemingway wasn't mentally ill. He wasn't.

      It also seams like a major lose-lose. If you refuse to agree with the person, and begin to distance yourself from them; they will instantly take it as proof of their gang stalking being real and simply being to much for you to handle. It's really a sad and hopeless situation. I've seen it first hand. I think I was about the only person left that was still talking to him and he'd tell me about all these convoluted plots involving impossible technologies, multiple government agencies, hundreds of actors, including close friends and family as well as neighbors and complete strangers. I would always ask, "But why?" You know, what is the end goal? Sometimes it was to bankrupt him and foreclose on his property in some vast real estate scam. I just pointed out that the kind of money it would take to sustain a years long harassment campaign would far exceed the value of his house. We're talking drones, aircraft, helicopters, vans, directed energy attacks, hidden cameras, break-ins, not to mention all of the science fiction technology that he claimed they were employing. Ultimately, he thought it was simply to drive him crazy and maybe use him for their own nefarious means, like an assassination or something.

      I have a relative like this. He just thinks you're gullible and dumb if you try to tell him the government/Illuminati/Satanists aren't trying to disrupt his life. There's a religious component to it, and he has literally said he sees himself as being on the same level as a saint, and that "bad" people in power hate him because of his saint-like status and that's why he's targeted.
      He also doesn't believe in mental illness in general... According to him, being depressed, anxious, schizophrenic, etc. is a result of people having demons inside them bc they just don't believe in God hard enough or something. So he'd just get really offended and deny it if anyone tried to tell him to "get help". He doesn't trust a lot of science and medical information and thinks it's made up by the evil organizations who want to control people.
      It's a rough situation since he wasn't always like this and has impressive talent/knowledge in a few areas, but it often gets overshadowed by the weird beliefs that he almost always brings up every conversation. He could be doing a lot with his life if he wasn't fixated and constantly getting angry about this stuff

    The more you look into the gangstalking stuff the sadder it gets. It's very clearly people suffering from mental illness. It makes me mad how often it's brought up in conspiracy theorist content where they treat it as tho it's really happening. We have a lot of mental illness in my family and feeding into people's delusions is the worst thing you could do for those people.

    • @whatabouttheearth
      @whatabouttheearth 5 месяцев назад

      You don't understand the issue. It's designed for you to not see, and I am not bullshitting and did not believe in ANY "conspiracy" before I was part of such stuff.
      It's seemingly research and training, training members to use the tech and skills and developing new techniques, before they use it on actual political enemies.
      The problem is that people talking about the the real thing (people being used as training and research subjects) online causes others who are ONLY suffering mental illness to think that that is what's happening when it's not, so they add alot of other stuff.
      With people who are actually being targeted it's intended to be subtle like gaslighting to cause a target to start feeling it's happening even when it no longer is. Causing it to mimic or instill mental illness is a primary cover.

    • @yes-gs2rd

      It's because most conspiracy theorist content is full of other mentally ill people. There's a reason why the majority of theories involve people(usually government and such) lying to you. That's why so many theories are ridiculous and serves no purpose because it's more about the fact that "you're being lied to". I enjoy conspiracy content as entertainment but I wonder if these creators are aware of what they're contributing to.

    Man, the gangstalking part first had me really hooked and then REALLY creeped out. At first I was waiting for the part where you say "Now, this might sound like it's all in their heads but this ONE guy..."
    But the further it went, the more I realized that not only are these people struggling with severe mental illness, but there's an online community on a VERY popular site, Reddit, that is actually feeding their delusions and actively discouraging its members to recommend getting actual psychological help. And when I looked the sub up, it's not even age restricted / NSFW (which would still be a weak barrier to entry but still).
    I don't know anyone personally who struggles with paranoid schizophrenia / psychosis but some of my friends and relatives do. One of the FIRST things that therapists recommend to those trying to support a person close to them who's suffering from these delusions is to offer a neutral point of view on the subject: confronting them about it doesn't usually help, unless done by a professional as part of treatment but the one rule is to NOT feed their delusions.
    Edit: this excerpt is from a recent post on the sub: "What is the point of continuing this life to be tortured with DEW, LRAD, and microwave weapons 24/7 while some POS tells you your a whore, ugly etc all day long [...] I am dying from the weapon effects. I am covered in burns. They think every single misfortune I have had in life is hysterical [...] I will miss my child and family but I can’t take this anymore. I have been targeted by intelligence and law enforcement since a little before 2001"

      @raeoverhere923 5 месяцев назад +17

      I clearly haven't read the articles about the 'haunting', but I wonder if the same noises underground were what made them think it was haunted? I agree with you though, that I don't think those screams are from people. Whining machinery travelling through the ground can sound incredibly different than when you're standing right next to it. Someone in another comment said that it could be underground work keeping the tunnels maintained so that they don't collapse under the town, I saw another person say foxes getting in and screaming was also likely.
      I honestly think this is a case of xenophobia with a dash of limelight and mental illness. He lives next to a vietnamese nail salon, and there was all the press around the husband of the woman who used to own it (owns it?) being arrested for trafficking. I feel pretty confident that he sees those vietnamese nail techs every day, and he's totally comvinced that they're all being trafficked, too. Not to say it's impossible, but I don't think it's likely in this case. He probably had charges pressed by the salon owner for harassing her and her business.
      Also, something about those screams sounds... familiar? Not to say screams are usually very different, but they reminded me of stock sounds I'm pretty sure I've heard elsewhere. As another commenter pointed out, there aren't any words in them; usually when you're screaming for your life, you get discernable words like "no", "stop", and "help". Even if you don't speak the language, the word "no" is pretty global, and hearing anything like begging or crying would have also added to the authenticity. They remind me of scream tracks from halloween CDs.

Basically, high pressure sodium lamps cycle on and off every few minutes for weeks when they're about to burn out. As a result, people have a tendency to believe they only turn on (or off) when _they_ specifically walk underneath of them, due to confirmation bias. As a result, a lot of people think it's a psychic phenomenon. Interesting to hear about it in the context of gang-stalking paranoia.

What knowledge gain or profit could there be to run a coordinated, high tech observation involving tens or hundreds of people on one person? While not the same as “gang stalking”, a few years ago (before covid), I started working from home and basically spent almost 2 years indoors almost 24/7, getting deliveries for everything and only going to the shops very rarely. I developed social anxiety eventually, and whenever I would go to the local shop, I had an overwhelming feeling that everybody was watching me, and I was out of place, or looked weird or like I didn’t belong. I looked normally, dressed normally, spoke normally, but my heart was going a mile a minute the entire time, feeling like every pair of eyes were on me, and I would rush home every time and not go out for a week or so again after.
    Of course none of this was true, and when I started working and being in public again, I reverted right back to normal and have been ever since. But if that happened to me when I was totally sane, just from being alone for so long, I can completely imagine how people with some kind of mental illness can develop such a paranoia to the point that they believe they’re being stalked or sabotaged by everybody.

    My job puts me in contact with a lot of drug addicts and homeless people. The gangstalking thing really felt like flashbacks to real conversations I've had with some people who have very paranoid delusions. One guy showed me a video of himself just standing in a field and asked if I could see the demons being repelled. So many stories I could tell you and it's not funny or intriguing. It's scary watching people go through that. I wish I knew how to help them.

    I don’t know if this in anyways help but I work as an over-the-phone Vietnamese interpreter and let me tell you that this isn’t a far-fetched conspiracy theory. Within my job, we have clients from all over the world (USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland). Something that is known within this line of work is that if you work day shift there would be a lot (-and I mean a lot) of human trafficking calls from the UK specifically. Mostly detectives interviewing victims of human trafficking. It’s….an incredibly fucked up fact and a quite disturbing call to sit through.
    A lot of these victims are either illegal immigrants (you can reference the Essex lorry deaths) or they were just literally kidnapped for different reasons (most popular being cannabis cultivation). In terms of my own experience with this I have served several calls helping Vietnamese victims of human trafficking and they almost always have the same stories. They were lured in by some random people with job offers and they would then be bought to the middle of nowhere, blindfolded, held at gun point and then forced to a house to do whatever those traffickers want them to do. Mine are mostly for cannabis cultivation.
    The victims would get sick at some point and then the traffickers will just drop them off at a random location in the UK and that’s it. There would be actual hotels around the UK dedicated to housing traffickers victims just so you know the sheer prominence of this problem. Not a lot of news talk about this within my country specifically or in the UK as a matter of fact.
    I am still lucky (-ironically enough) that I have not had to serve calls from victims of sex human trafficking but believe there is a handful of that. And it is not just a problem happening to only Vietnamese. My Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking colleagues have served calls of this nature as well and it seems to be a really rampant yet not-talked-about problem happening specifically to the UK.
    I am honestly heartbroken just thinking about helpless it is to go to a foreign country, not speaking their language, in the hopes of making a living for your family, just so you wound up being physically, mentally and sexually tortured by these monsters. It’s one of the harder moments of this job for sure and just one more reason to dwindle your faith in humanity.

    • @nirv

      From what I've read, trafficking is temporary. Maybe that's why people don't take it very seriously? Because the "trafficked" person seems to go on in life and never be bugged about it later - almost as if it was a necessary step to move up the ladder in life so to speak.

    I’m fascinated by the gang stalking phenomenon. It’s interesting that so many people are experiencing the same delusion. And being able to peek inside their world via forums is concerning, watching them feed into each others fears. It’s very sad, I doubt many of these people will seek help- anyone who suggests they do are ‘in on it’. I’d be interested in hearing a psychologists(or other experts) theories on it.

    • @TwoBs
      @TwoBs 5 месяцев назад +6

      They all “experience” the same phenomenon because they all congregate online and feed in to one another’s version of reality by posting about it. They post about it on RUclips, Facebook, Twitter/X, etc. and seek each other out to validate said “experience”. Some of them even have forums dedicated to it - places where they’ll post and constantly bounce off each others’ delusions, convincing one another it’s real and that they’re all “experiencing” something “real” because so many others _totally_ experience the same thing, too.
      What starts as a wee bit of paranoia thinking that someone is following them often has them turning to seeking out information online to where they find others talking about the same thing, causing them to further delve down into their holes and convince themselves that what they’re all experiencing is a real thing. One reads another’s post, tells themselves that they have the same thing happening to them, post about it, and the cycle continues.
      It’s not really a phenomena where they’re experiencing the same thing … they only think they are.
      It’s honestly really sad. One of those situations where the internet is truly a blessing and a curse for these types - blessing in a sense they can finally feel as if they’re not alone, a curse in the sense that they just further spiral into their delusions and feed each other, often never receiving help.

    I just wrote out a long comment on the gang stalking bit of the video, but I'm just going to say; never lose faith in the world around you. There are good folk around you, and they will try to help you in their own ways, even if those ways are not perfect, or don't sound like something you want to hear. Imo, openness and truthfulness is one of the best paths in life. Certainly better than suffering away in silence, and/or getting lost in the mazes of your own mind.
    I'm no healthcare professional, but one thing I will say is that be aware of your own wishes to stay far away from things that you don't want to hear. If you speak to a healthcare professional, they're not going to make you do anything that you don't want to; but they might be able to shed light on what you've been seeing, hearing, feeling etc. The world can be a scary place for a whole bunch of reasons, but it's also got a lot of love and understanding in it; and I really think that things like trust, openness, truth and love are things we all need in our lives. I feel like I said the same thing a couple of times there, but I'm just trying to get my thoughts out there haha. All the best.

      With the amount of old mines around here it wouldn't surprise me if there were tunnels running under their house, but the vast majority of the old mine workings have been deliberately flooded and capped with cement, (as lots of people used to explore them/fall into them back in the 80s and 90s and there's concern that just leaving them unsecured would cause problems with sink holes,) so I'm not sure how they'd be accessed and used.

    The gangstalking segment is tough to watch. My mom was schizoid effective and suffered from some version of that delusion. It would be a hellish thing to be in the throes of it and believe you're being targeted, but it's a very awful sort of pain to be on the other side of it and be told that you are in on that torment, or see your grandmother be verbally or physically abused because of some supposed agreement she made with the government to subject her daughter to a lifetime of torture. At least in the case of my mom, I always felt like these ideas were convenient to her, in the sense that they absolved her of any responsibility for the state of her life, since she believed it was all outside of her control. After many, many years of ups, downs and treatment, she let most of this go - though she still maintained that she went through something unexplainable for most of her life. But from my perspective, that was a way for her to tell herself that she wasn't "crazy," and I couldn't help but resent her for not acknowledging completely that she had a problem. It's hard being the child of a parent with mental illness. I hope for the sake of the people around those who struggle with this that rational thought can break through, and they'll turn to care, instead of anger and delusion.

    The whole thing about gangstalking is very sad, not because it's real but because it isn't. These are people that are mentally unwell, they have very bad delusional paranoia. All that talk about the "signs" it's happening, street lights coming on, people wearing the same colors, it's nothing. It's pareidolia gone wild. And more mentally healthy person would write those things off as the coincidences they are, or even just thoroughly rational explainable things (some street lights have motion sensors and only turn on if people are around for instance), but these people are so deep in paranoia they see enemies everywhere and as everyone and it is grinding them down.

      The conspiracy is seemingly research and training of those that carry such things out on actual enemies, I think most targets are merely training tools.
      I was put in these programs having a wireless BCI put on my head at Camp Clark under US Army Cadre at a "Challenge program" who said "we're gonna do a little experiment", and then later on the command ship of the 6th Fleet, the USS LaSalle, when I was in the Marines, then had some "meetings" even later when I was in the Army (Challenge Program, Marines then Army). This isn't the normal thing I think the real ones are encountering but it's inherently designed to discredit the target.

    There is one dude who I've seen online that's convinced me he's actually being gang-stalked. He has a ton of videos of people following him, they usually see the camera and then loop back into following him when they think they're safe. Weirdest videos I've seen is one guy who was full on staring at him through the window of the gym, people waiting in bushes together on his walk path, and people very obviously watching him from behind store aisles. He has a humor about the situation because while it's disturbing, he understands that its meant to mess with him and that he's likely in no physical danger.

      This reminds me of time back, in ancient history, I lived in small town. Time with no cellphones, internet or nothing.
      There were these "Village idiot" type people. Who were just those quirky old people, living alone, perhaps become weirder than is viewed as normal.
      Bunch of us kids used to go see these people, gather around when we saw them somewhere out and about. There was legends of who they were amd whats their lives was like etc etc.
      Like an old weirdo every kid knew or something like that.
      I wonder what that type of thing would look like now. It would be filmed, probably that person would upload stuff online etc it would take different form Im sure.

    British houses are often very poorly insulated or not insulated at all, my first thought would be that neighbors are causing these noises through televisions. Uninsulated pipework can also transmit noise, possibly explaining the noise in the basement. To me, the audio recordings somehow sound like movies, generally television, but I haven't looked into it that closely.
    Although I have to say that the alternative, as crazy as it is, would be surprising if something real were to happen underground. But when I think about it, there are so many things that come to mind, why it's nonsense, why no one else notices, the logistics, mine shafts are never under houses, firearms in the UK, why no one goes to check...
