It obviously does. It would make all the light sources useless and no creative ways to present and hide lighting.
And Thats good! Why even use creative light hiding tricks when you can do it easily. Invisible light sources are a negative idea.

I think I would like it in survival
The permanent glow to blocks could be used as something like a way point to get home easily, it might be similar to a beacon but (for bedrock players and maybe java) unlike a beacon the light won't go away when you're 100+ blocks away
yes, also I think glow wool, glow beds. Cause like we can use ink sacs for dye we should be able to use glow ink for dye.
Use a torch.
This is why I actually chose the glow squid.
I thought it was cute and would be cool for making new light sources and such.

Lightly Glowing armor looks cool and saves on torches
“Hardcore” only differs from “Hard” difficulty in that it can't be changed to another difficulty while playing in the world. There is no bonus chest, and cheats are not allowed

In bedrock edition there are baby squids but it's odd because you aren't able to breed squids in bedrock edition
I voted for the glow squid because it was advertised to have hypnotic abilities, which sounded awesome. The flower cow sounded pretty boring and iceologer was gonna be the same as the one in the woodland mansion, but retextured.
Wtf everyone knows that Glow squid is bored, Moobloom is so cute, and Iceologer can make Minecraft challengeable, but it's your choice
@@Iyan345_ i know now that it is boring, but in the video that they showed, they said it was hypnotizing them and I thought it would hypnotize the players too. It sounded like a new danger in the waters, which i think is more needed than a danger in the mountains or a mooshroom, but with flowers instead
Iceologer would not have been the same as an evoker, it would definitely have some sort of worthwhile drop and a miniboss type challenge about it
Glowsquid is a retexture regardless, they all are
If you look at a glow squid it give you a new effect called gaze: your screen you be covered in glow squid in particles and your FOV would be turned down to 40
But this would only happen when you are in the water and at least 5 blocks away from it.
Tbh, the phantom has been very good for many RPG servers. Retexturing/modeling them as a base can allow flying mounts, mounts for bosses, etc
i remember being so disappointed with the phantoms as soon as they came out, they're just bees but more annoying and burn in daylight

Phantoms would actually be pretty cool if you could actually fight them off, but at least right now, there is always at least 2-3 on you and they will instantly spawn another if you kill one.
Of course this problem is almost non-existent on single player, but on multiplayer it is really hard to coordinate everyone to sleep at the same time

Glow dye, easily the coolest idea for wool and seeing a glowing sheep would be cool too
I remember an interesting comment about how the phantom could work somewhere else. Basically it would only attack if you slept in a "unsafe" bed (a bed without a roof), and that would give you a lingering nitemare status effect.
Glow ink being able to make glowing versions of any dyable block(wool, bed, terracotta, glazed terracotta, etc)
No everything against Dream. Imagine different varietys and colors for the moobloom. Imagine a wither rose cow. That would have been the coolest thing in Minecraft and Dream ruined it.

As someone who don't have any interest in aggressive mobs, I would say the iceolager will just be like pillagers where I have no interest in, no matter what they offer cause it's a hastle to fight them. I was never really interested in the mooshroom cow either. The glow squid is a meh too, but amongst all of them, only the glow squid add somewhat of an effect to my builds, since I build a lot of things, so I guess it somewhat gives extra contract although, it only works for signs which honestly is pretty lame too. But then again, I do almost all of my build either floating on an ocean biome or under water, so anything aquatic is generally what I would like the most. But that's just me. That said, iceolager is just people who likes fighting a mob would pick, so that's your preference. I don't think it adds any dynamic to the game anyway, plus it's in a snow biome, I doubt people would actually do too much with it just like with phantoms, which is practically useless since everyone generally prioritize getting mending early on. Not saying that the glow squid is better, cause it's definitely not, it's frankly useless. The cow thingy, whatever the name was is probably the better one amongst those 3 choices. Although, if you disagree I would say you're probably wrong, unless you can prove how the iceolager is actually a good mob.

Sounds like you just want dragons but I do second the ability to tame them, I desperately need to be a full on Druid beast master for combat
They should make it so that if you look straight into one, eventually you become nauseous or distracted like in the teaser

Everyone wants the glowsquid to emit light, but that would take away the beautiful contrast between it and the pitch black caves
Maybe if we had blocks with the glowing effect we could put it in our houses then when we were in caves we'd be able to see where we placed the block from inside the cave and find our house easily.
An idea I had was being able to use the glow ink to make glowing dye. You would combine a dye and the glow ink to get 2 glowing ink you could then dye things like wool and beds to make them give off some light and they would be brighter

Glowing colored dyes would be cool... Mix a glow ink sac with whatever colored dye.. Use it for whatever you can use dyes for. Glow banners would be pretty cool, tbh.
