I actually discovered a glitch in Bedrock Edition (not sure if it’s still there or if it works on Java though). The glitch was that if you placed two smooth sandstone slabs on top of each other to create a full block, they are slightly darker than a normal smooth sandstone block! I tried to use this to make it look a little more worn down or eroded.
The blaze powder for potions reasoning was quite weird. You could find brewing stands in Village Stone Towers anyways but you would still need to go to the nether for Nether Wart no matter where you find it.

I think piglins thought that the gold was more rare because you get smaller quantities of it when mining in the nether and we all know how they like shiny or gold things so they most likely thought it was better. and my theory is supported by it saying that piglins mine all of the ORE of netherite so all thats left is the ancient debris that would give them a netherite ingot while the nether gold ore would only give them a nugget
I always thought they valued gold because it's used to refine netherite, and with all the original ore depleted the only resource they have left is the gold

I bought 2 woodland mansion maps in different updates, first one being a dud, the second one being in the middle of a giant ocean. I think the trick was the second time I levelled a random cartographer in a far off village rather than one at my base.
While I get that "Effeciency 4 is good enough on a shovel" argument, I always get my enchantments from discounted villagers after a certain point in my games. So yeah, if you are rolling on an enchantment table, just stick with 4, but if I already went through the effort of getting a villager with a Efficiency 5 trade, I'm gonna use it on everything.
I’m pretty sure invisible bedrock is what is at the bottom of the world in bedrock edition that keeps players from infinitely falling, so it’s still used to this day
fun fact: in 1.18.2 the touch screen mode to store items in the crafting grid thing doesn't stop /clear from deleting your items meaning there's no reason for Mojang not to let you store things in there regularly (in fact, I heard that in older versions you actually could)
I’m a programmer and can actually elaborate on the squid having slower animations when it runs out of oxygen it’s actually very easy all you have to do is assign the oxygen a value equal to the time it’s been out of water and have the animation speed be equal to that value

I just realized something with the charcoal-furnace trick, if you use 3 sticks, 3 logs and 1 charcoal, you are using 1 charcoal, 3 logs and 2 planks(2 planks make 4 sticks) which in turn = 4 logs(1 log = 4 planks). so there's no way to make a profit of of it.

Items staying in your crafting grid was a feature back in alpha. I don't think saplings got JABBA textures 6 days after saplings were added. There are even older gold and diamond block textures too.
