FOX RIVER Night Trolling 2024!

Typically this time of year you can find me on the ice in my spare time. It is February after all. We all know what the winter of 2024 has been like with little to no ice, and a lot of unsafe ice in the Midwest. To be honest, once February hit, I was praying for the warm-up. Don't get me wrong, I like ice fishing, but there's something different about being in a boat and being able to fish water more than 8 inches at a time. I went for a little night trolling session on the Fox on Tuesday night. Typically when I troll during the spring I am looking for one thing. Big Fat Walleyes! It's big baits, attracting big fish. I will have my big number days in the coming weeks but I was able to complete the big fish mission on this evening with time for only a few passes. It's only going to get better.
