@@boxsterman77 Yep, we and the pride all noticed the commotion! 😁 My guess is that warthog noise is like a starting gun for the 100 metres. 'Run like the devil is after you, your life depends on it'. I don't think they could communicate such an urgent message silently. Jungle lore is tough - if the warthog families have to sacrifice a slow or wayward hoglet in order for most to live, then that's how it goes.😟
I saw so many videos of them getting on the dinner table of leopard, lions, hyenas and wild dogs. I feel sorry for them. Nature works in mysterious ways. This is one of the few videos I've seen of them being happy
The piglets having a playful ruckus with their siblings just like any in the animal kingdom, same goes with human babies too...But little do the piglets know, their existence is basically food for the big cats...Imagine that, born to be someone's food, lol
That 'playful ruckus' no doubt adds to their life's meaning, along with eating, socialising and exercising etc.. Why would you think that the predator's MO gets to determine the warthog's?
0:31 This is probably what it’s like for most warthog families 99 out of 100 days. I wonder if the young are ever ‘taught’ about lions and other predators or just instinctively know there are predators out there. I don’t know why I like seeing baby warthogs play in this way. Once they get out of the burrows and have space, then first thing they want to do is butt heads.
those people who call the lion a king are people who look just ➕➕➕, those people i call them a 🤡. Let remind other 🤡🤡🤡 what lions ➖➖➖ are, among of course ➕➕➕. The lions could be killed by other lion, sometimes bull, hippo, elephant, rhino, ..... The lion knows all ➕➕➕& ➖➖➖, but sadly the 🤡 doesn't, or 🤡🤡🤡 just don't wanna know, because they feel better with fake story- the dreamers, like in their life, 🤡🤡🤡 doesn't want to face the true, that's make them tough and strong as a 🤡🤡🤡. But the real problems hide under the carpet, so when boder me, i just pull the carpet and look!! the hidden garbage are here, owned by 🤡🤡🤡.
03:17 That piglet is dead. No way it can outrun an adult lion that's right next to it. I'm sure there were unconnected scenes spliced together, like unrelated warthogs coming out of other burrows. And I'm fairly certain multiple warthogs were killed by the lions but BBC wanted to keep this lighthearted and "fun" so they didn't show it. The reality of African wildlife is so very very different.
This is amazing you got to have a back up plan sometime with thngs.. I have seen many lions & pig encounters that didn't end well for The pig.. The lions I think have the upper hand a lot ithink..
You're right about buffalo being a lion's feeding the whole pride, but I tend to think their favourite meal is whatever their about to sink their teeth into.
What a life. The warthog's entire life is an emergency.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂

Is true sad asf
Yes everyone Life is emergency 😢😢😢
Emergency exits! I love this, clever little things
Clever, up until the point where they saw fit to squeal on the way out instead of moving quietly away.

Barely works tho lol. Warthogs are pests
2:46 excellent emergency exit by warthog😮
That juke at the end of the video there.. Damn! Fake right, cut left, and shook that lion right out of her boots.
That hog was an experienced individual.
I saw that, too. Crazy. Wonder if it scared that 2nd lion for a moment, or what?
@@huyked The hog did a pump fake and confused the lion, and flew past it.

Hello Deborah, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the COVID-19 virus??
3:29 Oh, damn. The warthog juked toward the 2nd lion. Not sure if it made the lion question and attack, or just mistime its attack; maybe both.
The sad news I know for a fact at least some of those pigs got eaten

It’s so unusual!!
Too bad they all end up as food.
It's so wholesome to see warthogs live to see another day in this "circle of life."
This is a well executed escape plan.

Reminiscent of Johnathan Edwards natural play in central field for Wales.
They escape into the lion's mouth and out its butt. The ultimate escape plan.
Mmmh. Bacon 🥓 McNuggets for lions 🦁
These burrows need to be deep, narrow, sharp angles, multiple exits. I am surprised the pigs had to make a run.
lol, good job
Not but a ham and bacon for the lions lol
They look so cute until they get torn apart , alive.
t captures the tension and drama of lion hunting behavior while prompting viewers to consider the strategies employed by both predator and prey.
Who’s got the pace !
thought the title meant do the lions have an escape plan
good footage, but the video seem edited in a way that the warthogs escaped unharmed, which is most likely not true.
