The guy that designed and animated Coco Diablo was also one of the main animators for "A Goofy Movie" back in the 90s. That's why his animation is so fluid, because he worked at Disney Studios during the 90s Golden Age of Animation. ToonrificTariq interviewed him on his RUclips channel.

"Trick Or Treat Scooby-Doo" instantly became one of my favorite of the newly released Scooby Doo films! And it was indeed interesting to see Velma's lesbian side come out but at the same time it was also interesting to learn that the costumes of all the villains that the Scooby gang faced over the years were all made by the same person. And Coco Diablo became an instant fan favorite for many and for obvious reasons if you know what i mean. lol

It's amazing how we still get about one new Scooby-Doo movie a year thanks to the huge success of Zombie Island. Sure not all of them are good, but most of them are better than average.

The budget goes crazy, but the movie deserved better writers. I enjoyed it as an afternoon Scooby flick tho. In the first place most of the movies don't actually have writing that's all that great. Nevertheless they really pumped in that Warner Bros production budget with this one. Reminds me of that Green Eggs and Ham Netflix series. Except the writing in that show was actually up to fluff

The animation is too good good for this plot
plot twist: the new “Velma” is actually Velma and Coco’s biological daughter, but they disowned her and her current parents adopted her after. Velma’s adoptive mom found out how much of a loser her daughter is and wanted to put her back up for adoption, but her dad said he didn’t want to so she did what she did in the show. Velma turned out to be one of those “transracial” people and started saying she was Indian.

I know most Scooby Doo movies aren't top tier cinema. But not only is this one boring and random, it feels disrespectful to the franchise. Like calling attention to Daphne's uselessness without offering any improvements. The cartooniness of this cartoon seems too much for Scooby Doo. Every character is a caricature. So if you read this far you guys would definitely find a better movie in "Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur". If you need more convincing, I have three last words for you. ULTRA INSTINCT SHAGGY!😠

If you want that good scooby doo content. Watch "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" underrated and more influential that you'd think. It's where the franchise got the name "Coolsville" for their hometown.
Funny thing about modern scooby doo films: they're like a 50/50 crapshoot of being either great or Velma. You could either get Phantosaur or you could get that weird Cajun Vampire one.
The only person that put in a guiniene effort in this movie was the guy that animated Coco

I watched this movie with my homophobic father. I’m surprised he didn’t make any homophobic comments on it, glad he’s growing to not be as verbally hateful though or turn off the whole movie like what happened to a past movie/many shows with lgbt+ character in shows.
