    I had my inline adapters die every year (TP link) never getting them again just didn't seem reliable or my power is bad/dirty?

      wow.. that's disappointing. I've had a set of Zyxel's that I used for like 4yr straight with no issue before finally upgrading them to a faster set.

    So, as an “expert”, you could not have simply run iperf or even connect a NAS to measure maximum speed between AC adapters?
    It’s not the “same electrical system”!
    You want them both connected to the same AC phase!
    Yes, you want it within the same house, but you can have 2 AC phases in the same house.

      Yes, if you add a Wi-Fi access point to the mix. So the connection would be: router->powerline adapter-2nd powerline adapter->wifi access point.
