The LONG Way Home - No Man’s Sky / Light No Fire challenge

I am in the WRONG place. How did this HAPPEN?
I decided to go and find resources and suddenly realized I am in the WRONG place, when I saw “The Empire” - Ricey’s Base, arrive in 1 hour!!!
Time to dismantle the base, reclaim the resources, and head for the empire.
I could have stayed and be considered a SPY, but this isn’t me. I’m all for gathering resources, building and doing for the community, and less into PVP and stuff.
Did I get lucky? Or did I walk an hour to reach home?
