I'm new to keyboards and I've been going crazy trying to choose one to start. My goal is a creamy/marbly sound, so I know I'll need something hot swappable so I can change out the switches later. I do a LOT of typing for work, and also do a lot of gaming. Is this a good keyboard overall for me, as someone who is new to this? Right now I have a razer and it's so pingy and clacky, and isn't hot swappable. So, honestly, at this point anything is an upgrade... I really like the look of this one though, and I like that I could customize so much of it!
I absolutely love the keyboard, but the software constantly forgets my configuration and I straight up cannot get GMonitor to work. It just doesn't detect the keyboard despite being plugged in
hey, those round sond buttons, Is there a way to use them to lower and increase the volume of a single application, for example if I want to change the volume of just the browser, would I be able to?
Stupid question perhaps, but I just bought this and I've never had a keyboard where I can swap keys out before, I know it comes with a stabiliser for a long single space bar, how do I install that onto the keyboard?
GMonitor_2.0 V2.0.0.1 is what you want, go here skyloongtech.com/skyloong-keyboard-software/ click on the "Screen Tool" on the right hand side and then click on the Gmonitor V2 at the bottom of the list.
@@GalaxyTechReview THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was trying to do it with GMonitor_ v2.2.0.0 and I was very frustrated because it just refused to recognize the screen. But it instantly worked with v 2.0 as you mentioned. 💯
Nice Keyboard. Great review. This would be great but my main is the Epomaker Ajazz 820 I believe it is. I’m partial to 75%/TKL. This is nice and from a very good brand. Kudos to you for a very thorough review.
I got my GK 104pro just now. Connected with 2.4G bluetooth mode. Installed software from website given on manual i.e. driverid=103. But still software says Not supported device. Even tried with the software you have shared, but still same
Thanks, wiring detected my keyboard but the problem is when I configure my keyboard knobs for zoom for one and media keys for another, the settings are not retained with other systems like my another mac in bluetooth mode. Do I need to use another mac or another pc laptop with wired mode every time? That's weird and disappointing
I can't set anything either. Loading images onto the small monitor doesn't work and setting the keyboard to different colors doesn't work either. I ordered the original from epomaker.

@ssicamon1927 this is a solid keyboard that, yes will allow you to upgrade and swap the switches and keycaps if you want.

When trying to download the software for the pro screen, my anti virus blocks it saying it contains viruses. Any info on this from anyone????

Thanks for sharing! Super detailed display:D
How do i turn off the sound!
Interesting. But how its gonna emulate insert, home, and other button that use to be placed on where the screen is on this keyboard?
If you need any of those keys while you have the screen installed you can use the software to assign them to keys you don't use.
I’m unable to load gifs into the screen is there any trick to it?
base is alluminium or plastic ?
Plastic
the g monitor app does not seem to work for me, trying to update the firmware just does nothing, the bar doesn't move, nothing just happens
are you removing the screen from the keyboard and hooking it directly to the PC through a usb-c cable?
@@GalaxyTechReview ah, i wasn't aware i had to do that haha, thank you!
How do you use the keys that are normally above the arrow keys (PgUp, End, Home, etc)
you can replace the screen with thos keys (they are included) or you can easily just remap keys in the software.

to use the software you must be in wired mode, not wireless..
