Never too old lol. Sure, its a choice, you don't have too, but a laptop will play most games you want at decent settings, and you don't really need space or anything to set up. Games are for fun, not just to be perfect, you can have fun even without being "good"
Some of the most fun I have in video games is doing the exact opposite of what would be considered "good" at the game. I think you should give it a whirl if you want to, not because its complicated. Get a mic too, people would love you.
@@MrCrabman11 bf5 is definitely the best battlefield 5 objectively. maybe some don't like the theme. but battlefield 5 perfected the balance between infantry, ground vehicles, and planes. People in the vehicles and planes actually help capture the points too. In previous battlefield, vehicles were too weak to be on the point. and planes had no way to help clear the infantry. BF1 planes did kind of but they get shredded by AA guns the second they spawn. BF4 planes only had anti vehicle and anti air capability. But in BF5, even the fighter planes can strafe the infantry well and dive bomb. every single aspect of BF5 combat is perfected.
Can’t agree, the atmosphere is ruined every 20 seconds when I hear some female scream or say something with a forced accent or I see some dude with a clown makeup face. Compare this with bf1. The atmosphere and immersion is another level. Just in general the voice acting and design of bf5 is a major step down regardless of the visuals and female characters

BFV has got significant player count increase due to BF2042(more like 2024😂) disasterous performance. People still want to play high quality massive map fps games, so they just bounced back. Including me. I have tried it on Asian servers. I live in East Asia. Despite many options HK, SG, JP, AUS, I gave up after 3 evenings. During few dozens of matches I had less then ten without hackers clearly taking the win. EF THIS GAME AND THIS CULTURE. How possibly people can enjoy this experience is beyond my mind. Jack promoting it is a sign he gets his due. So, yeah unsubscribe soon.
BF5 the game is a lot of fun, BF5 community is infested with hackers. Yesterday I stayed in a server just to watch 2 hackers have a hack fight. Eventually one just elevated himself into the skybox and started sniping with magnetic bullets.
Yeah if only Jack had been this enthusiastic and supportive back when the game needed it, who knows what could have been - pretty annoying to hear him now tbh, I'm still watching but I can't help thinking that it was because him and others it got cancelled. Finally a great WWII game after so many had failed, and it got cancelled before it really started - SUCKS - who knows how long we have to wait 'till we get another BF WWII ...

It had a rough launch as well. The downfall of BFV was the insanely amount of hackers and 2042 doesn't have that problem. I already put more hours into 2042 than I did with BFV.

Always been enjoying BFV and it is great to see the player base being high like it has been cause just means more servers and more people to play with. This game is awesome and just fun to play; still like BF1 more but, BFV is right behind it.
The MG42 in BFV and M1 Garand are the best in this game imo. They look, sound and play great. Heck all the sounds in this game are so good. Weapons, explosions, land, air and sea vehicles sound amazingly accurate. The atmosphere is beautifully created. This was the last Battlefield game that captured that Battlefeel. ❤️
Jack, can you put together a squad of four where everyone plays a different role, one medic, one support, one assault and one sniper? And then play as a team, taking objectives etc. That would be so fun to watch!
I loved the team work in this game. Also loved the way we can customize our soldiers and make squad leader call ins. The atmosphere in this game was incredible. I wish they committed to this game a little longer to experience an eastern front season.
when bfv first came out some people started to criticize it and later on after bf2042 came out they realized what a gem bfv is. i love that damn game so much...
The interesting thing about the MG 42 is that it basically never fully fell out of use. I mean, the MG3 is basically just an MG 42 that was adapted to use NATO calibers and that is still widely in use to this day. It's just one of these cases where people just came up with a design so good that it borders on timeless.
I stopped playing Warzone sometime last year and ever since your first BF5 video I decided to purchase off Steam for $4 and have been actually having a blast!
I literally just replayed the epilogue for the single player missions just to experience it again. They did such a good job on this game. I know it won’t happen but I wish the next battlefield would be ww2 themed again lol
One thing that I think gets overlooked in this game a lot is the ability to build stuff. All the other games you can blow stuff up, but this is the only one where you can replace it with things like barbed wire and sandbag bunkers. Was kind of hoping they would bring that in the 2042 but......
I remember watching these videos...and Battlefield 1 all through the previous years. Good times really, solid work(not good work) , lived poor, but I could relax at the end of the day and watch you play games I couldn't afford or whatever. But it's crazy just how much time passes and how quickly...I really should have done more with my life during that period of time...and watched your content when I had time not because I had nothing else to do if that makes sense. Because if that was the case maybe i'd be happier now and more succesful and wouldnt be so affected by things I used to watch years ago etc.
The mounted LMG's in that game are so good. I used the browning 30 cal a lot. Find a good position. Mount the bipod and just dominate that part of the map

I bought battlefield 5 in the Black Friday sale having not played a battlefield properly since bad company 2 and must say I’ve been blown away by how good it is. The variety of maps are incredible and already I’m having numerous moments and games where I’m left with a wild grin on my face. Truly incredible that this game is 5 years old - it’s an absolute blast to play
Played it again this afternoon since 1,5 month not touching it. The graphics, movement dynamics, gunplay and in general the balance in maps/vehicles etc… It’s still an awesome game. You can go solo if you want and go sniping or tank hunting, but team play also pays off very well if you want.
Beautiful video, thanks for sharing! Few tips: use flaps 2 instead of flaps 3 for short field takeoffs. Flaps 3 create a lot of drag for just a small gain in lift, which can lead to worse takeoff performance. Also leave the engine mode on ignition until both engines started then you can switch it back to norm. Avoid high bank angles in landing configurations as the stall speed increases drastically while you are maintaining low airspeed. Enjoy!

I think it's so mind blowing to think about that this game came out 5 years ago in 2018. I just can't understand in my mind that Battlefield 5 is already this old. I'm just glad that it's still such a popular game and people keep playing it.
God I love this game. I'm on Xbox and the matchmaking is more sparse than PC but I hope it stays alive for at least another 10-12 months. Thank you Jack for getting a sizeable chunk of people back into it! It's gonna be so hard to let go of BFV when it is all over
With all the hype of 2042 at launch, all the inprovments they made, all the free weekends, discount sales and ongoing live service... This is one of the only 3 games i play anymore. Best feeling battlefield game. The movement, destruction and atmosphere is great. I can fully immerse myself in this more then any other game

Yup! But I think it was because it was a step down from BF1. I still remember buy BF5 thinking it would be an improved BF1 but I was let down. I still played the game since it had a fresh set of weapons and maps to explore but I always felt like it was missing a few things. I recently redownloaded BF5 and have been really enjoying it tho!
The best game in the BF series with a lot of new stuff added like jb-2/v1 and stuff but was the least cared for by EA. so sad. I love BFV and still play it most of the days.

Man after 2300 hours in this game i still enjoy it. I used to run around hip firing with the boys AT Rifle and this MG42 lol me and my buddies had fun on playstation.
the 42 uses the 7.62 round; a strong killer also like: MP 717 Suomi KP/-31 MG 15 - 8mm Mauser 150 round capacity - very rapid fire machine gun be careful not to over heat the barrel but 2-5 round bursts are hard to learn how to do and control. - This is my fav - it is a killer! Love the bf5 uploads I wish dice could have gone the extra mile with this gem of a game. Everytime I watch a WW2 type movie I download this game and play for a week or two. Last movie was Oppenheimer, it doesn't really makes sense but I got the itch 😂

Wow, i never even played the battlefield series. Crazy looking game. Really sharp and clean, and with some mirrors edge movement and aesthetic elements It also has a sense of the evils of war more than I’ve seen in any other game. The active destruction leading to a desolate environment, the bombs coming down, the streaks of light and popping sounds from explosives

Battlefield V is a game that effectively had a stunted growth. It's a shame it wasn't able to reach it's full potential, but what we got is still really good. Stuff like fortifications, squad revives, and reinforcements were amazing additions.
I love everything about BFV the map design the gunplay the vehicles and the maps, BFV has that grittiness and action that bf2042 is lacking and missing
ah man, remember when map destruction was a thing? That bit where the entire house comes down around Jack is what Battlefield is supposed to be about. Really cool.

I am not surprised, this game was just good. I played a few months after it was release, maps were great, vehicle balance seems right, gunplay felt really good and yet people were complaining about it. Didn't care and still played a lot of it and enjoyed every minute!
I just played today and the max amount of people I've seen populating a server is like 16...wish it was as active as it is when you seem to play. Also, the hackers are unbearable.
Weird I've been playing recently with friends and there's about 5-6 full servers just for operation underground and I haven't had any issues with hackers at all
When you pick a game mode to play you have to manually select a server and then go into the settings page where you can select which region you want to play. If there are no North American servers I just hop onto the European (German) servers through the settings
lol wtf are you talking about.. 16 players 😂 jack just told you about a 115 000 players peak. I personnaly always see dozens of full 64 servers all the time in Conquest Strategic alone !
Can we just appreciate the building destruction in this game. Everyone seems to overlook it because we get so used to the graphics but my god what progress
Just started playing bf5 again, got the definitive edition for $5. Was missing playing battlefield, but the new one seems to be widely hated and it looks kinda weird so I’m good on this one lol
Just imagine if they did not stop development of the game man.. We could have had some cool stuff like operations from BF 1 just for D-Day, one squad is defending the other one is attacking and much more.. :(

And they dropped this game early for 2042 AND still managed to mess it up and release it unfinished. They should have stuck with BF5 and given it another expansion.

Among the best parts of BF5 is the Hp system where you have to pick up med kits at stations, same goes with ammo. The class system is also absolutely brilliant in this game 👌

Because it’s a well-made game. Played 2042 and it felt like it was made by a small studio by comparison. The polish on BFV is incredible.

BFV was DICE swan song, they had great ideas, that probably financially didn't pan out, which is quite a shame.

The hitmarkers and skull icons with all the points is what makes battlefield so satisfying. Battlefield 5 was different then most also

I think it's so mind blowing to think about that this game came out 5 years ago in 2018. I just can't understand in my mind that Battlefield 5 is already this old. I'm just glad that it's still such a popular game and people keep playing it.
God I love this game. I'm on Xbox and the matchmaking is more sparse than PC but I hope it stays alive for at least another 10-12 months. Thank you Jack for getting a sizeable chunk of people back into it! It's gonna be so hard to let go of BFV when it is all over

With all the hype of 2042 at launch, all the inprovments they made, all the free weekends, discount sales and ongoing live service... BFV breaking the record for the all-time peak without live service and being over 5 years old is incredible. Says all you need to know about 2042. More BFV conent, please!! ❤

COD games barely last 8 months before they die, meanwhile this 6 YEAR OLD battlefield is still alive hitting peak numbers.
This is one of the only 3 games i play anymore. Best feeling battlefield game. The movement, destruction and atmosphere is great. I can fully immerse myself in this more then any other game

Yup! But I think it was because it was a step down from BF1. I still remember buy BF5 thinking it would be an improved BF1 but I was let down. I still played the game since it had a fresh set of weapons and maps to explore but I always felt like it was missing a few things. I recently redownloaded BF5 and have been really enjoying it tho!

The best game in the BF series with a lot of new stuff added like jb-2/v1 and stuff but was the least cared for by EA. so sad. I love BFV and still play it most of the days.

Man after 2300 hours in this game i still enjoy it. I used to run around hip firing with the boys AT Rifle and this MG42 lol me and my buddies had fun on playstation.

Love the bf5 uploads I wish dice could have gone the extra mile with this gem of a game. Everytime I watch a WW2 type movie I download this game and play for a week or two. Last movie was Oppenheimer, it doesn't really makes sense but I got the itch 😂

Wow, i never even played the battlefield series. Crazy looking game. Really sharp and clean, and with some mirrors edge movement and aesthetic elements
It also has a sense of the evils of war more than I’ve seen in any other game. The active destruction leading to a desolate environment, the bombs coming down, the streaks of light and popping sounds from explosives

Battlefield V is a game that effectively had a stunted growth. It's a shame it wasn't able to reach it's full potential, but what we got is still really good. Stuff like fortifications, squad revives, and reinforcements were amazing additions.
I love everything about BFV the map design the gunplay the vehicles and the maps, BFV has that grittiness and action that bf2042 is lacking and missing
People realized that once 2042 dropped, BF5 was actually a really good battlefield...
ah man, remember when map destruction was a thing? That bit where the entire house comes down around Jack is what Battlefield is supposed to be about. Really cool.
Jack, it'd be fun to watch you play Breakthrough, especially with the MG42. imagine waves of players just try to rush you and you just wipe them all out lol
I am not surprised, this game was just good. I played a few months after it was release, maps were great, vehicle balance seems right, gunplay felt really good and yet people were complaining about it. Didn't care and still played a lot of it and enjoyed every minute!
I just played today and the max amount of people I've seen populating a server is like 16...wish it was as active as it is when you seem to play. Also, the hackers are unbearable.
Weird I've been playing recently with friends and there's about 5-6 full servers just for operation underground and I haven't had any issues with hackers at all
change your settings to show full servers
When you pick a game mode to play you have to manually select a server and then go into the settings page where you can select which region you want to play. If there are no North American servers I just hop onto the European (German) servers through the settings
Tons of full servers, you must have the wrong server filters selected.
lol wtf are you talking about.. 16 players 😂 jack just told you about a 115 000 players peak. I personnaly always see dozens of full 64 servers all the time in Conquest Strategic alone !
Can we just appreciate the building destruction in this game. Everyone seems to overlook it because we get so used to the graphics but my god what progress
Just started playing bf5 again, got the definitive edition for $5. Was missing playing battlefield, but the new one seems to be widely hated and it looks kinda weird so I’m good on this one lol

Just imagine if they did not stop development of the game man.. We could have had some cool stuff like operations from BF 1 just for D-Day, one squad is defending the other one is attacking and much more.. :(

Gunplay and movement in BFV were just too good… the entire BF comp community fell apart because of BF2042
One of my fav bf5 weapon. It takes abit to get used to but its so satisfying. You can also down planes with it

Among the best parts of BF5 is the Hp system where you have to pick up med kits at stations, same goes with ammo. The class system is also absolutely brilliant in this game 👌
