Love your videos! Best wishes to both of you and the arrival of a new bundle of joy. Take care and enjoy your time with each other. We'll see you all, when you are ready.
When I see the pigs and how happy they are compared to the life that they led from another farmer, I can't help being thankful for you both showing us the difference in the life that you created for all involved.
You're doing wonderful work. Beautiful homestead...you've completely transformed the property, and made it productive in so many great ways. It's always fun to see what your new/next project might be. And we can see what this next one will be, and how busy you'll be. Congratulations, and please don't worry about getting episodes out for us. Take care of yourselves, and we'll be here when you're ready.
Rabbits! Had quite a few over the years and even built a "Rabbit Hilton" for 60+ rabbits. They are quick, aren't they. You'll know the male rabbit has taken a liking to you when he slashes you with hot rabbit urine (across the face!). He's scent marking you as his loved possession. Sometimes, it's hard to accept, but it's love of the rabbit kind. Never forget that they are an escape machine. Looking forward to seeing a little human bunny inside the house.
Is there anything you two aren’t capable of. Those trees made me nervous Troy, but I knew you’d be safe, as your a man who thinks and learns. Those rabbits 🐇 😂, not even a hello and how do you do? they jumped right into it. All the best Pascale with your birthing process, you are both going to be wonderful parents. ❤
I absolutely love the improvised "everything" such as the water bath boiler you use on the Ramshackle ranch. Nice job on that big tree! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations! I’ve been following you for years now, and I was always wondering when the baby would come. I must admit that I viewed you a lot more when you were out in the ocean but it’s good to see you on land and your Homestead and Farm is flourishing and growing as is your own personal family. May your life be filled with joy and happiness, and good health, especially with the baby coming. 🙏🏻✝️
Hi Pascal and Troy, deligthed to see pascal is pregnent. I love you from France. I've been with you since beginning. Even if it's hard to understand everything. KISSES.
Nice vid, loved the resting of the camera and the observational vibe, suits the Winter feel. Had no idea the gestation period for rabbits was so short! The exponential power of that is insane.
all the best for your delivery!!! What fun you two are about to have, enjoy every unique moment of your new life! We'll certainly miss seeing your editions but will use our imagination of what you are up to. Take care and we'll look forward to your new "editions", tee hee. todays video was great by the way. Thanks! Julia
I'm sure the baby has arrived by now I hope all is well and the delivery was as easy as it could be. a couple of well place shorts on youtube will keep us going for a few months while you settle into your newest life...cheers
Good luck to you both for the new arrival. You will be great parents and we look forward to hearing about your new adventures and lifestyle. Have loved the sailing side and thoroughly enjoying the Free Range side too.... all the way from the AU east coast
good luck with the upcomming editiion. oh and perhaps mention you are a trained aborist troy, a weekend warrior numpty with a chainsaw can be a dangerous thing, cheers and enjoy the break
Wishing you all the best! I will miss your videos while you are gone. Loved the nature emersion today. But never mind us, you will be doing the most important job in the world ❤ See you when it fits in with the new life. And I am soo excited for you both to welcome and know the love of your new child.
I miss the sailing but really enjoy the new venture, would love to have the opportunity to give it a try. You make it look easy but coming from a farming family I know what goes on behind it. looking forward to your new addition to the "livestock".
My heart sank when you said "we were thinking about getting some bees". Man! That's the thing I've been looking forward to the most. Obviously spring is the best time to get started with Bees, but I'm 100% here for when the beekeeping journey starts!
They need to put up signs of no trespass to keep the DPI off the property. The DPI have been extremely controversial on the east coast of Australia with small hobby bee keepers 😢 no mites, yet they have used fipronal on many properties unethically. Years of work destroyed along with healthy Bees. Bees are incredible,I’m with you on that!
OMG that sound of the bottle brush cleaners wire handle scraping on the neck, just took me back to a child in mums kitchen, all us kids were on a roster for washing up, Thankyou n goodluck with the bub
Troy and pascal, followed you guys from the start with the sailing and now the small scale farming. You two are more inspirational than you may realise. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us as you are inspiring many others to take the plunge both on the water and also on the land. Your children will have the best life in your care and guidance. Your values and lifestyle will carry them far in life. Always look forward to your videos to escape the nonsense we see far too much of these days. Geez even an old barstool like me has started thinking of getting out of the Perth suburbs and moving to the country for the clean peaceful life with plenty of space. You’ll be great parents and remember to put your family first before the posts. I’ll still watch even a video posted once in a blue moon. Cheers
Lots happening over the winter farm life. Tree clearing allowed more light and firewood. Good luck with the bunny farm. Do let us know when your precious one is born.
OMG that takes me back to my year in Aus, in the early 90s … bottles of Coopers filled with Passata! And the Mooli … my gran swore by her mooli but eventually, after decades and decades, it gave up the ghost, and TBH we’ve never needed to do preserves on that scale again … so now, thrust into our urban garden on an island situation, we’re thinking tomatoes and possibly preserved aubergines might be the way forward, we shall see. And yes, Starsan is the work of magic, and will kill nasties left and right! And passata is the greatest preserved tomato sauce ever … so versatile, so full of goodness and vitamins, and so damn tasty! Some really nice, straight-looking sections of wood on those felled gums - any chance of getting a mobile sawmill to come over and mill you some greenwood planks? Or are gums not good for wood? Also loving the food production from the Fletchers Small Farm - heaps of ideas for small growers! The talk of “Flemish Giants” made me laugh, coz back in the late 70s we were in a tiny house in Camberwell, London, when my granddad brought home some nice “friendly” rabbits bought “from a bloke in the pub” … yeah, you know where this is going eh? Cue 72 hours of insanity, massive rabbits trying to burrow under/over/through the garden, and my grandma eventually declaring it was her or the rabbits, so back they went We’re all so, so excited about the arrival of our little rescue dog - she’ll be making her way to us in mid September, so we’re super stoked for her arrival - I sent you a pic on Facebook but the auto-reply said you didn’t monitor that account, which is fair enough coz of course you’re close to birthing Firstborn, and working harder than ever! I’m still trying to get my head around Woodworking 101, which is proving to be a nightmare, but I’m keeping on going, so hope all goes well for you and the birth and hope to see Firstborn soon 😊 Love you both to bits and all the best for the birth!
Well............the rabbits are nice, but, not the addition that I was expecting to see in this video. Good job thinning out the trees Troy. I also liked the way you separated the seeds and skins from the tomatoes. It appears that all three of you are doing well and I am happy to see that. I understand why you might be doing a little less videography but hope that when the time comes you will be able to do a short video announcement. LOL
Another wholesome video. Rabbits included 😅 Just let us know you and bub are ok. Best wishes for a wonderful delivery and beginnings for you three. Hugs xxx

Ah, glad we have someone to chime in if we run into problems. So far, rabbits seem to be model livestock. They are exceptionally calm and very undemanding.
Very best wishes Pascale and Troy, and considerable affection as you embrace a beautiful change and substantial improvement to your lives. Since fruit doesn't fall far from trees there can be every confidence your new family member will become someone at least as exceptional as the amazing, admirable couple who chose to bring them into the world. Regardless of how vicarious the process will be the possibility that you might allow your extended circle of RUclips friends to share in some aspects when you imbue your child with the things you have come to consider as worthwhile in life is a most pleasant anticipation.
Some amazingly clear and crisp footage from the start… I’m not sure if all of your viewers can appreciate the depth and clarity of the plants… a high five for your David Attenborough start ❤. Moving on , that was an awful lot of tomatoes 🍅 to get tru . but it all looked good. Australia has a big bunny problem, I hope that nothing jeopardising happens ( Watership Down moment ). Good luck and God Bless for the future and the sounds of a new beginning for your baby to come soon..❤❤🎉
Great and well thought work, as we are used from you! I very much enjoy your content! Wishing you and your little one a good start in life and in becoming a family!
Hey Guys it has been awhile since I watched an episode.I enjoyed this one immensley.. Often in the winter we see snow on the ground. Not as much in my area because the Pacific ocean is across the road and the surrounding water keeps it warmer. It is summer here now.Winter at Christmastime.CHEERS from Westcoast Vancouver Island in Western Canada!
Great to see all your efforts coming together and more than baby rabbits on the way! I don't know what your plans are for the farm as in how long you intend to live there, long time ago, 40 years I think, some friends bought 20 acres near Coffs Harbour and did the self sufficient free range garden thing but also started planting stands of valuable trees each year, which these days gives them an annual windfall that helps buy major purchases for the 'farm'. A few years ago they even decided to buy a new Forester! Food for thought?
We are planting tagasaste tree seeds at the moment as they are free, but will grow to provide cover for later plantings of high value timber and forage species.
Excellent! Tagataste is great for nitrogen fixing and fodder, but I'm sure you know more about it than an old mechanic like me! Sorry I had to drop out of patreon, Daydream rebuild is absorbing a fair bit of my age pension but I expect to be chasing the sun next year! Cheers
No worries if the updates are few and far between, but please do pop up every now and then to let us know you're doing ok
Nice video! Also looking forward to the wonderful news! That baby will have the best parents!
Cheers David! Patrons will definitely be finding out first ;-)
All my best wishes for the arrival of your little one.
Came for the sailing, stayed for this, the blossoming.
Am wearing my Free Range Sailing tshirt today.
Love your videos! Best wishes to both of you and the arrival of a new bundle of joy. Take care and enjoy your time with each other. We'll see you all, when you are ready.
Wishing you both all the best on the arrival of your new bundle of joy.

Falling limbs in cutting trees here in Western US is a big deal and called "widow makers" for a good reason,

Please never fall into the trap of taking for for granted the beauty of your lives. You bring so much joy into many peoples lives
I sat with the pigs for a quiet half hour, reflecting on just that subject.
Understand cutting back for sure. Family time is super important.
Don't worry about posting every week. See to having that baby and when you get back we'll still be here.
Fantastic update and what an exciting time. I am so happy for you! You will both be wonderful parents. Congratulations. ❤

Well that explains a lot I have been told by so many woman I shag like a Rabbit but they did not seem pleased with that fact ! :)

Youse r so fricken organised!
We just edit out all the chaos 😉
All the best.
You need to find a portable sawmill to cut those trees into lumber or fencing boards.
By all accounts, that timber makes very good flooring. We can't use it in the field, as it is favoured by the local termites.
Another wholesome video. Rabbits included 😅 Just let us know you and bub are ok. Best wishes for a wonderful delivery and beginnings for you three. Hugs xxx

I'm mostly amused at what you call "winter". 😅
Fair play for all the Englishmen I've laughed at when they talk about summer!

All the very best , on another note Rabbits are a serious problem here in NZ so was quite surprised you are planning to breed and release !!
No release! They will be grown out in mobile cage on pasture.
Just remember Guys, If you name the Baby Tony/Toni, It will be intelligent and good lookin, lol. All the best from the North Coast of NSW.
We wish only the best for your addition of you family
And how about you Pascale. How are you and bubba doing.? Thank you for taking the time to upload. Atb from across the ditch.
No bubba just yet. This video is pretty close to real time, unlike our sailing.
