    It would be good to know exactly when the Smart System can adopt multiple accounts to one bike. For all those looking to find out, I will speak to Bosch!

    Excellent presentation - I wish I lived in the UK so I could buy an e-bike from you. Bonus to Mark, he has learnt to present information professionally (compared with in the beginning).🕊️

    I live in Ireland and stay at Seymour street every time we visit London. We cycle around london every time we visit and very much enjoy the Royal Parks and dedicated cycle lanes as a quicker, greener way to traverse the city. I will definitely explore the R&M bikes the next I visit. Many thanks for this very informative video.

      Thanks for reaching out, Steve. In all honesty, there is still pro's and con's to the new Smart System, with many of our customers this year still opting for non Smart System products! It simply comes down to whether or not you are into your 'tech'. If you're a gadget King or Queen then Smart System could be the way forward for you... but if you just want to zone out and ride then non Smart System is still a great, viable option!

    I’ve had this system on my 6 month old R & M Charger 4. It’s brilliant. I paid £85 for the Bosch alarm/tracker, was not made aware of their RX option from R&M, no advertising, dealer didn’t have a clue and it’s more expensive anyway which is a bit of an own goal. They should have simply got on board with Bosch, saved a lot of research as they are all in with them anyway. A

    Really good video guys. I have to admit, all i need is a bike with a bit kf powered luxury. The moment we start involving applications and connecting the bike we get into risky territory regards to support, unnecessary reliance on having a smart phone and cyber security issues. Not needed to ride and never will be. Once we get to a point where the ebike wont work without a smart phone, we've reached a new low for consumers.

      Thanks for your comments. There are of course more technologically minded individuals out there that would find the Smart System useful. But there are similarly people who just want to focus on riding... which is why non Smart bikes also continue to be built.

    The "Smart S6stem " is just one additional way that assist people in NOT paying attention .
    one of the basics skills in riding a bike is to learn 'anticipation . pay attention to hills and stop lights /signs that are approaching and get your bike in the correct gear and or assist level BEFORE the hill or stop.
    likewise with paying attention to where you are going so you can find your way home and prepare yourself and equipment in case of a breakdown as if you didn't have a phone . We create neural pathways when we learn something and continue to use that part of the brain . if those established connections are not used regularity then they weaken .
    GPS is a prime example of this . when we are driving a car or riding a bicycle etc, we create a map in out brain ,so the next time we travel on the street or path it is much easier AND most importantly we now know how to return from where we started . Using a GPS makes those pathways associated with direction go dormant . so the Smart system is really a dumb system as you are no longer using those things you learned about riding and direction PLUS it increases the cost of the bike .

    Suggestion, keep the volume the same throughout the video! The amped up sound of the music is annoying and a pain to have to turn down, then turn back up to hear the voices. Super amplified through buds.

    They (Bosch) need to give a timeline on dual /larger capacity Smart System batteries. My commute is 26 miles with significant hills. The 500Wh battery on the gen 2 barely gets me there in a reasonable time. I want to go a little faster and not worry about the battery going flat when it is 40F. Larger than the current 7xx Wh battery.

    • @FullychargedUK
      @FullychargedUK  Год назад

      Hi thanks for reaching out! Smart System batteries can go right up to 750Wh PowerTube's now, as well as 725Wh PowerPack's. I'm sure there will soon be DualBattery configuration to come, too!

    • @Simon-fr4ts

      Is that 26 miles round trip or one way? My commute is 18 miles round trip with significant hills. I have not done it yet as I only got my bike a few days ago. I went for a 625 battery on a Cube hardtail Emtb and hoping it will do the round trip on a full charge as I will be using turbo mode alot. It's got this new smart system setup. Keeping my fingers crossed.

      @@Simon-fr4ts Sorry for the late reply. 26 miles one way. I keep a charger at work so I am 100% for the trip home.

      @@Simon-fr4ts thanks for reaching out! Yes, it sounds like you will have ample range with a 625Wh battery... perhaps changing the assistance levels via your eBike Flow App is a good idea?

    • @Simon-fr4ts
      @Simon-fr4ts 11 месяцев назад

      @@FullychargedUK Thanks, what would I need to change my assistance level to? It currently defaults to eco, tour+, emtb and turbo. I think there is an auto mode that you can download, but not sure if it would work for me. I just know that I need full power all the way from the bottom of the hills to the top, so worry that the auto mode would not always give that full power 100 percent of the climb. On my short initial ride on the bike, I was flitting between the modes a fair bit as I have never ridden an ebike before.

    Great intro to the new bosch smart system. We are fully invested with 2 new Gazelle Avion ebikes. So far I have set up one account on one smart phone for one of the bikes. I see this as problematic for people who wish to share bikes and use multiple phones. Also if you lose access to your phone or registered email address is there any way to recover the bike?

    • @FullychargedUK
      @FullychargedUK  Год назад

      Thanks for getting in touch! We know that Bosch is working on this feature to enable two phones to be connected to one particular system. Yes, that is done via your Bosch ID, which you create when you initially install the app. Hope that was helpful.

    I do wonder if I’m wrong with what I’m seeing and thinking , one would like to think just me being me , some may assume just another old git , agree old , jury still out deliberating on the git bit, as everyone knows too assume = just making an ass out of u and me. Do people really want bikes with all these gadgets? Seem complicated just to ride a bike , I am of the opinion that the whole industry is missing the biggest market with potential buyers, of course it might just be the way I think and see could be wrong more worrying that I could be right, finally why did the person riding with you was peddling twice as fast as yourself while you was just leisurely peddling, it was like watching a modern movie with you and a silent movie and the way that they seemed to run around twice the speed, that was quite funny,
