I’ve been trying to find someone who has peaceful blogs. Normally they either talk too much or too loud, but your voice is so soothing! You narrate everything perfectly. You just got a new follower!
I LOVE this video so much. THe aesthetic is just everything. However, you may have moved your camera a little bit too fast, for I couldn't watch till the end because the camera movement gave me such a headache. The video was lovely tho and this kind of videos always make me happy:) have a wondeful day.
Do people living in New York City really call their hometown "NYC" because it sounds so strange. You really are a quiet, calm vlog narrator and, like others, I very much appreciate that. Thank you so much for this excellent look at NYC book stores. I've subscribed. Edited to add that I crave that Ruth Bader Ginsburg tote.
Beautiful video! I just love book shopping videos! I love that last bookstore, probably because they will have those rare editions probably out of print books. I could spend my time in that store for sure. I also love bookish items. It was a very organized video. Your voice was so pleasant to listen while I watch the video. It was great📚📚📚📚👏👏👏👏👏
I couldn't love this video more!! Thank you for this amazing bookshops tour. I just love your content so much and I'll definitely search for Japanese authors because now I'm so curious and excited about the asian literature. Tysm 💙💫
This video vlog is absolutely amazing and informative, yes please we would like from you to make another video vlogs like this and visit another bookstore. In this way, you are like the book tourist guide and i love this so much. I am a new booktuber like you and i would like to encourage me as i did, i am an author and children writer from Lebanon. Hope you encourage Asian authors like me, haha. Good luck and have a safe stay in the best beautiful city in the world.
"but you have to move even deeper into the book maze to get to them" I don't know why that sentence made me so happy, I just need to go to a bookstore right now!!!! westsider rare and used books was definitely my favorite
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it!!! This video is so calming and fulfilling (in Brazil the pandemic is still pretty much out of control, so it's been a while since I went to a bookstore) I wish you were more active on ig though
I like all of them. We only have 1 book and it in Savannah,GA called Barnes and noble. In my county we have no book store in Hinesvielle,GA we eather go to Walmart, Ollie's or Goodwill thrift store.
@@quietcalmbooks3468 The store I go to that is somewhat local to me in call Bookmark Shoppe in the bay ridge area & they are pretty good. They some self published books from local authors. There is another called unnameable books I think it’s on Vanderbilt Ave & they have used books & books that are a little less common. Those are really the only ones I know. Lol
i love the video! i agree with another comment that you move the camera kinda to fast, its a bit hard to enjoy and see the shops and books. but overall this is an amazing video and you should do more bookstore things in the future :D
I really need a trip to the Strand. But, I haven't been to the city since the pandemic for a fun day. Now that I live far north of the city there has to be a whole day planned. However, My wife and I recently went to Jersey to a beautiful Barnes & Noble that has a massive used book annex.
Your video is very good and very informative about New York bookstores. It would be very helpful if you don't move/shake the camera so much! Greetings from Greece.🙏🇬🇷❤️🇺🇸
The audio kept getting quieter and quieter, I had to keep turning it up 😔 and the movement is too quick and hurt my eyes a bit, otherwise it’s a perfect video!
Welcome back to NYC! You probably know, but if your bf likes Japanese lit there is a good selection in Kinokuniya by Bryant Park it also has a wonderful stationery section in the basement!! :) I love that NYC has so many bookstores:3 McNally also has a separate shop for stationery called Goods for the Study. I pass by Westsider everyday on my commute cute and they have a cat :3 enjoy book shopping!
@@quietcalmbooks3468 nice!:) it’s pricey there but the selection is awesome! I just been there a couple of days ago and bought a Japanese novel. Glad to see you post about nyc:)
I’ve never been to a book store but this video has inspired me to finally go. Happy early birthday Peyton I hope you have an amazing day - naima_.draws

I absolutely love the McNally Jackson at Seaport!
Great video but it made me dizzy....my head is spinning 😵🥴 I think you need to move the camera at slower pace when filming next time..😅
Sorry about that! I’m still new to this but talking to some friends who are giving me filming tips!

The camera is too jumpy
@nolaandsteven
Disappointingly, although I was looking forward to the video, I couldn't watch it as the the camera work made me feel dizzy.
I'd like to watch this video, but the never stopping motion of the camera makes me nauseous.
One comment: It's odd that you refer to New York so often as "NYC." Nobody does that.
Sorry but I felt dizzy watching >
Sorry! I’m working on fixing that for the next book store tour vid!
