Does anyone else feel inspired at how optimistic and practical these people are being after losing their homes? They're all so brave
Maybe they are still optimistic because they just lost a home not them self.
good on ya 7 news for leaving comments on
Leave comments on, or we'll go to other channels.
Freedom of speech is essential !
Not a bunch of cowards like channel nine
I hate it when they turn comments off.
Go and leave a dislike on the other newsmedia who refuse to let us comment lol why should they have a voice and not us?
@@jakethepillager1682 or ABC.
Absolute mad lads for leaving the comments on, unlike ABC.
And channel 9
Why are they even off?
SO TRUTH DOESNT GET OUT.
Wow
I know, I respect them for that ✊
I was looking at a lot of Australian News Channels on RUclips that criticize the PM regarding the bushfires and they have all turned off their comment sections. Really goes to show how much these Australian conglomerate news corporations value the opinion of their viewers/public: not at all. Even the ABC, a government sponsored channel, have silenced everyone. Absolutely pathetic.
toasteh well said
The people running the 9 news YT channel are cowards for disabling the comments all the time. Afraid of criticism or something...
It makes me mad. Like we dont have a voice.
They said it was due to RUclips's policies on abusive and offensive speech, but I don't believe that for a second.
If I'm the PM, and I heard my country is in flames and that my people are dying as my plane is about to take off, I would still cancel my flight, apologise to everyone on the plane and go back to my office or go to the affected areas to at least show my concern.
Going back and shaking hands of these survivors of hell of Earth AFTER their suffering only add salt to the wound. It's like saying "gg" after you completely roll the other team in a game.
And to those that say "The PM couldn't change anything even if he had stayed", well, it's about sending a message across, that you are willing to sacrifice your things for other's sake. This is why we bond as a community, we expect protection and sympathy from those within that circle.
he definitely could of handled it better by placing the blame squarely on environmentalists who stopped the back burning in the first place as well changing laws by increasing mandatory jail time for arsonists of any age
@@vmgqie Scomo is a terrible bullshitter. Peddling lies about the greens preventing backburning isn't going to save him as PM.
@@XBlueM0ndayX very true. You can fact check such rubbish. Morrison has done everything wrong that you could possibly do. I do not recall the PM ever spruicking that Greens conspiracy nonsense. This was Barnaby Joyce from the Nationals.
Lol
The country is not in flames.
Why don’t politicians have a duty of care and held accountable , like Doctors and Police men ?
Held accountable? You realise the fires were started by arsonists and lightning strikes...
What would you like the politician's to do?
And I'm pretty sure a doctor isn't held accountable for the death of a patient unless he actually murdered them, same with cops.
Why don’t we the people change the laws and hold them accountable. They earn way to much and receive to many perks for the jobs they do.They set a very bad example for our children, arguing like silly children .They have not had to do it hard like so many Australians not having the education levels or having to work many hours or in very dangerous jobs to keep food on the table to feed there families, may be they out of touch with the public?
@Golden Calf we havnt had backburning for 20 years. It wasn't the current government's fault. the dry and hot conditions is due to no rainfall for a lomgtime and it being summer. Its always hot and dry in summer droughts. Nothing new.. And I'm sure every honest firefighter will tell you there is nothing they or the government can do about the fires now but get people out of the way and wait for them to burn out. Sure the current government could open back up the rivers and stop selling all our water to private company's and that would return alot of greenery to the land. But that has nothing to do with bushfires. The fact that more people are living in more places then ever before has alot to do with the impact zones increasing, We've always had bushfires. black Saturday was the worst day for bushfires in australias history and it happened over 10 years ago before there was so much talk about it being because of climate change or the politician's. The lefties are also blowing it out of proportion extremely. There is alot of australia burning but compared to the size of australia it's not that much at all
They'd probably need more money to care....
Ask a police Doctor 😎
That's a bold and arrogant statement "I don't take this personally". And you call yourself Australian...I'm surprised someone hasn't decked him yet.
Was thinking the same thing, how did none of the locals give him a good one to the face when he visited them
If Morrison had any guts at all, he'd stand there and take it like a man instead of running away from it with his tail in between his legs. After taking a personal holiday during one of Australia's worst crises he deserves a thorough shake-down. Time to rethink policy instead of brushing off people's concerns, and I'm not talking about climate legislation. I'm talking about proper hazard reduction in a timely fashion, proper support for the firies instead of the cuts they've undergone, proper water conservation protocols in the Murray Darling among other places, instead of the shameless profiteering that certain officials have been engaging in to the detriment of the local farmers.
The current crop of politicians in Canberra couldn't lead a pack of sex-starved sailors into a whorehouse.
@@Alex462047 took the words out of my mouth 👏👏
@@Alex462047 Sorry, but it's not one of Australias worst crisis. It's bushfires. They happen every year, sometimes bad, sometimes not so bad.

remember the Qanda program that allowed for the incitment of violence and called for australia to burn and two days later we had the begining of massive bushfires caused by arsonists....lets talk about that aye

A quick civics lesson for those angry about the lack of RFS and Emergency Services resources: youre wasting your breath and time yelling at the PM. Under the Australian Constitution, RFS and Emergency Services are strictly the responsibility of the states - in this case, NSW - and the PM is strictly forbidden to intervene in RFS and Emergency Services unless explicitly requested by the states. To my knowledge, NSW has yet to publicly request any Federal aid. So yell at Gladys to provide more resources to emergency stricken areas, not Morrison.

The Morrison government is asleep at the wheel on climate change. More concerned with accounting tricks than actually reducing CO2 emissions. We need to be leading the world by example, not sitting at the back of the class with the dunce cap on. This has to change and fast.

Nothing whatsoever to do with CO2 .. it is the deliberate lack of water and forest management
@@backthisway I agree that poor forest management is a problem thanks to Liberal funding cuts. The Libs are too busy shovelling money towards the big end of town.
