      Australia should make official request for firefighters, equipment and water bombers from nearby Asian countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand. At this moment, the manpower and equipment deployed are grossly inadequate to stop the fires that have engulfed an area so large.

      Exactly Aussies have to care about the people that usually start terrorism. Morrison doesn't care about the poor people, pensioners ,disability people whether mental or physical it's all about big corporations for them and giving the franked dividends to the rich whilst mental health and public hospitals and health goes to hell.its not just Morrison who rather prays for pensioners at hillsong than give them more money it's all of the greedy libs who have uncaring policies for it's poor people. All of Australia and burn in flames if it's not kirrabili or the wealthy areas. Climate changing because if horrible polluted fuels are the cause if this and tens of thousands yesterday illuminated how polluted our air us our climate rising from filthy fuels etc.of course we really should be using Tesla's free energy by now but govts don't want people to get things for free.

    Why has this happened? Because of ignorance ,I my partner and a good freind nearly lost our lives on new years eve ,,the simple fact no control burning through the winter months ? You put a house in the bush and don't control burn every year you will loose that house one day and very lucky if you don't ! My father God rest his soul allways said to me small fires stop big fires and that is a fact ,and why do people plant wicks right next to their houses? I know a garden is a wonderful sight in full bloom but I can tell you it is one of the worst sights to see burning you're house down,,, if you want to live in the bush areas be very wise and don't! These forests have been burning for thousands of years ,,just ask any aboriginal elder and if they didn't light them lighting did , people have been complacent when it comes to him trees ,,they are designed to burn !! You will not stop wild fire when it starts that is a fact and the government and the people who live in this country including national Parks do you honestly think you will never see this happen again? I have no doubt you will see it again and again if properly managed control burning every where in winter months ! Good luck to who are facing it now and if nothing changes in the future good luck then ,, my condolences go out to all people who have lost so much in this catastrophic time ,and many thanks to the powers that be ,, brilliant job people, 👎👎👎

When the immediate crisis is over, join landcare, to assist with plantings, get skilled in Wildlife Info and Rescue (WIRES), Visit the towns affected help their economy get off the ground. There are lots of ways we can help. Hugz to you, as we watch and send positive energy to all those affected... oh and join the growing movement of those who will now be pushing for more and Compulsory Fuel Reduction programs, SO this never happens again.

      @@HeleSha sorry I tried to private message you but it's not allowing me to for some reason. I live in America. If I had enough money to get away down to you guys I would. Australia has always been my dream. I wish I could live there. I'm trying to find something local or a way I could send anything down for help. Because if I lived there I would literally be out there with my truck and any kind of water or extinguisher or a shovel or anything I could do to help control these flames. I've dealt with fires up here but watching all of these animals and all of these trees and all of these homes burn is literally crushing my soul. If I can find something up here that will allow me to send down supplies I will send everything that I can. Although I know some people think it is a futile resource I'm also praying for rain everyday.

    • @brandenburg2388
      @brandenburg2388 5 лет назад +2

      @@msumm5330 Australia's land mass is bigger than the whole of Europe combined and if we were to imagine 5 million hectares of forests burning all across Europe, the European countries with all their fire fighting resources (which are much bigger than Australia's by the way) would be struggling to put out the fires. What we have in Australia now are firestorms which are simply impossible for the small number of firefighters on the ground to extinguish or even stop. Failure to get an international firefighting force on the ground means that the only outcome we will see is that the fires are allowed to burn everything in its path till it meets the sea.

    • @msumm5330
      @msumm5330 5 лет назад +4

      brandenburg2388 yeah. exactly, aye. if the PM actually just asked for international aid, the bushfires would be so much easier to handle and its would just be so so much better for this country. the fires could be controlled, put out and so many lives, animals and people alike, could be saved. but, like i said, our PM cares more about his public images than the public wellbeing of his country.
      but seriously, our PM is so so so incredibly horrible at his job, dude (at least his liberal government) cut 75% of the funding to our RFS.
      if u want to know more about how much i hate him, please go watch the friendlyjordies video ‘dear your majesty...’ it is incredibly insightful and my guy jordy shows how incompetent our PM is.

      It's called Agenda 2030, it's not a conspiracy theory, it's a sanctioned UN program which came out of the Earth Summit held in Rio Dejanero.
      Hiding behind this seemingly legit program of sustainable development, is the covert plan to take over of farms, forests, waterways and transport infrastructure.
      Australia, be afraid, be very afraid of those in high office who have betrayed our nation into the hands of foreign powers and globalists...

    • @austinhellier7667
      @austinhellier7667 5 лет назад

      @Mr. Wavy Believe it or not, millions of people worldwide are waking up and many are preparing to take action of one sort or another.
      Under various laws we are empowered to partake of "lawful rebellion" so such things as 'go slows' or trucker blockades of major highways or even a national strike may bring about a change for the better.

    • @austinhellier7667
      @austinhellier7667 5 лет назад +1

      @Mr. Wavy The people behind the NWO push are worth $trillions. Money is a means to an end for them, so they've got enough so with AI controlled robots and automated factories and mines, they don't need us.
      When French factory workers were threatened by the introduction of automatic weaving looms and electricity, they took off their wooden shoes (called sabots) and threw them into the machinery. That's where we get the word "sabotage" from...

    • @austinhellier7667
      @austinhellier7667 5 лет назад

      @Mr. Wavy The concept of lawful rebellion goes all the way back to the Magna Carta of 1215. It basically says that if the government is in breach of its contract to the people, they can "lawfully rebel" by seizing castles and other assets of the state, until such time the government gets back on track and fulfills it's obligation to serve the people in a way that benefits them as a nation.
      Magna Carta is still in play as it is a contract between the crown and the people. It was not sanctioned by a parliament and therefore cannot be rescinded by any parliament either. It is essentially a pre-parliamentary document and it's tenets and principles stand under English Common Law for all time.

    Experienced Firefighters Not Required
    As a highly qualified and experienced firefighter temporarily living in NSW during the bushfire emergency, I thought I would offer assistance to the local brigade south of Sydney where various members of my family had been evacuated from their homes at Bargo and Buxton.
    I attended the local RFS ( NSW Rural Fire Service) brigade and advised that I could make myself available 24/7 for the next two months and that besides the basic bushfire fighting training I also had the more advanced training and experience in Wildfire Suppression, Wildfire Behavior, the Australasian Inter-Service Incident Management System (the command, coordination and control system used to manage fire emergencies), Ground Controller (coordination and control of aerial water bombers and ground resources) etc. I had all of my level one bushfire protective gear with me and was available at a moment’s notice if required. The brigade made me welcome, but I was informed that the RFS did not recognize my Australian interstate qualifications and that before I could be used in the current emergency, I would have to do the NSW RFS basic training and that would take at least three months. This situation is not unique to the NSW RFS. Where I have lived in other states and approached the local fire brigade, I have similarly been informed that they do not recognize my interstate training and I would have to retrain from scratch.
    This lack of inter-operability of today’s highly mobile population is hampering the effectiveness of Australia’s emergency services and many volunteers are forced to leave the organization.
    The term volunteer is unfortunate in that it quite often is used to denote a helper or assistant. We should possibly be calling the volunteers “unpaid fire fighters”. Volunteer emergency workers are trained to a very high standard in Australia, often being more qualified and experienced in bushfire than their paid counterparts. Volunteers are immediately available to deal with emergencies in small towns where it is prohibitive to employ paid staff. Volunteers react quickly to emergencies in their area, with vastly more local knowledge and experience.
    Volunteer firefighters make up 97% of all registered firefighters in each state. There are roughly 35,000 unpaid volunteers and 1,000 paid career fire fighters in each state. Volunteers make themselves available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to protect their communities free of charge, and in doing so save their states an estimated 180 million dollars each year in fire suppression.
    Career paid firefighters are largely based only in major cities. Volunteers cover country towns and the outer suburbs of the major cities. When you dial 000 in all probability you will have volunteers respond to your emergency. Volunteers are highly trained and proficient in all aspects of the emergency work they carry out, and in terms of bushfire are often more highly trained and experienced than their paid career counterparts. Some Volunteers have thirty or more years of experience fighting fires in their local area. They have the advantage of intimate local knowledge of their areas including hazards, access tracks and resources.
    When volunteers respond to your call for assistance please respect that these individuals have dropped what they were doing at the time to assist you, quite often at considerable personal expense to themselves. This is especially so when they run their own business or are self-employed.
    Volunteers are in their communities assisting in all phases of an emergency. They assist their communities in the Preparation and Preparedness stage through the delivery of community education programs and the carrying out of prescribed burns to reduce fuel loads. They are there in the Response phase where they are heavily involved in combating an active fire. The fast response times by Volunteer Brigades in the majority of cases, keep fire emergencies small, and enable those fires to be extinguished quickly. The longest and most expensive phase of any emergency is the Recovery phase, and this is where volunteers work tirelessly within their communities to comfort neighbors and rebuild infrastructure. Paid staff are usually only there for the short duration Response phase where they massage the media often at the expense of volunteers.
    Volunteers in their local areas used to do a lot of control burning. These burns carried out in the wetter cooler months of the year, when the fuels had some moisture, reduced fuel loads. These small, low intensity, patchy burns trickling through the landscape allowed animals and other wildlife to escape or hide. Flame heights were low and did not get up into the tree canopy. For various reasons these were restricted or stopped all together.
    Local bushfire brigades need to be given more control of the operations and training for their areas, and direct access to funding set aside for bushfire brigades. We need to attract and retain more of the younger recruits by treating them with respect and make training available to all. Women make up over twenty percent of brigade numbers at present and many are more experienced than the majority of their male colleagues. Women are very much under utilized in the bushfire service, and more needs to be done in this area.

      @jason Bolitho The consequences are going to be devastating. Glacial fields in NZ are already covered in black soot. This will be an amplification factor - the glacial fields normally help cool the global temperature but covered in soot like this they will absorb heat instead. Leading to more heating...
      There are many feedback loops like this that have already kicked in and more we aren't even aware of.
