- i finally watched Star wars Episode II!!
Set ten years after the events of "The Phantom Menace," the Republic continues to be mired in strife and chaos. A separatist movement encompassing hundreds of planets and powerful corporate alliances poses new threats to the galaxy that even the Jedi cannot stem. These moves, long planned by an as yet unrevealed and powerful force, lead to the beginning of the Clone Wars -- and the beginning of the end of the Republic.

The relation between Anakin and Padme has more sense with the deleted scenes from the original footage. If you can take a look at these deleted scenes you will like it even more. It´s a great chemistry.
If you realise, Count Dooku had the chance to cut any leg or arm to Obi Wan, but he only hurted him. Although Dooku was in the dark side, before of all this he loved his apprentice Qui Gon Jinn. And remembering him... didn´t want to hurt more than necessary at Qui Gonn´s apprentice.
Qui-gon was the Father figure Anakin needed. Obi-Wan was more of an older brother so when he tried to replace Qui-gon it wasnt the same.
In Episode I the George lucas explained the music for the duel between Qui-gon, darth maul and Obi-Wan was titled duel of the fates. Because the fate the duel was about was Anakin's. Lucas said if Qui-gon had survived Anakin wouldnt have fallen to the dark side and palpatine would've likely been revealed sooner

Keep in mind that the sequels are NOT the stories George Lucas wanted to tell. In fact, when Disney bought Star Wars from him, they actually had the nerve to REJECT the story treatments he had written for the sequels in favor of letting different directors make up the story of each film as they went along, and it shows. They barely have anything to do with the rest of the saga.
The TV shows deal with some of the time period after Ep.6. Watch those, the spinoff movies, all the animated series, the Ewoks and Droids cartoons and Ewok TV movies from the 80s, the Holiday Special and play all the video games BEFORE watching the sequels. Leave the sequels for last, last, last. They are the last thing in the current timeline anyway.
After this comes the Clone Wars, which fills in the gaps between this movie and the next one.
Boba, the small kid, unaltered clon and son of Jango Fett, it´s Boba Fett, the bounty hunter from episodes V and VI.
Some of the best nuanced scenes are in this movie.. an opening and near ending scene: IF Palpatine were the Sith Lord, it’s crazy he asks Yoda “will it come to war?” as if to gage how well he can sense the future and Yoda FAILS..
And closing scene of Dooku talking to Obi Wan and his hubris/the Jedi not accepting the truth of everything. Dooku asks Kenobi to join him, much like Vader did Luke in the middle film, albeit a little more lackluster lok
Well, he did go rogue in another of the great trilogies of all time, didn't he:)
Also if you pay attention in this movie not everything is as it seems lucas did this specific change on purpose. In most movies heroes are shown on the battlefield going from left to right. Not right to left as the clone army does in this movie. Just saying.... 🤫
