5:56 the cow is in fact in the final game! In the refrigerator refrigerador freezarator level when you go back to the beginning with the spicy pizza powerup and break through the ice blocks, the free milk cow will appear near the lap 2 portal, and it still removes your ability!
16:28 I'm not sure if you're aware, but this track was previously used in the game, playing as you enter the castle from outside in Pizzascape. I assume it was removed to give Hot Spaghetti more play time.
Since you mentioned how Unexpentancy Part 1 was sampled from one of Mr Sauceman’s scrapped games, I thought I should mention that Unexpentancy Part 2 was actually inspired from a 1920’s song called “After you get what you want, you don’t want it.” Pretty neat stuff ngl.
@@TetraBitGaming pizzahead was based on a pizzahut mascot called pizzahead (literally the same name and his body is based on ronald mcdonald), in some credit images pizzahead is a clown similar to ronald

I think it's always so interesting to see just how different a game's development was over time. A lot of the transformation at first seemed to emulate the Puzzle Platformer side of the Wario Land games, but were altered in order to the new vision of the momentum based platforming we have now. Same with a lot of the scrapped characters and multiplayer mode. It was cut in order to further refine the experience that we would. the unused "Spaghetti" music was, in the oldest versions, the third song used in between "Cold Spaghetti" and "Hot Spaghetti" but, since it was only used for 1-2 rooms, it was scrapped because few players could appreciate the song without just standing in place
"Choosing the Toppings" also appears in the games soundtrack on steam, along with some other songs that don't appear in game, such as "For a Few More Toppings", which was used in a video to reveal the Vigilante as a playable character in an older demo
those unseen jump-through platform and block sprites seem to be a really good way to save time on level design. Just plop these down and then come up with the visual presentation for the level later
8:53 This also worked like Kirby's ghost and the Copy copy ability. 15:45 The purple thing can be found in the editor as well 18:41 This still exists, but is newer, and can only be accessed by completing a lot of the Pizza Tower
An interesting thing of note, there are typically only 6 jumpscares you can actually get in game, 4 for the Mushroom, Cheese, Tomato, and Sausage toppin monsters, an Oktoberfest jumpscares you can get from the main 4 toppin monsters, and one jumpscare at the start of the game if you leave the menu in the dark for too long. But there are actually a handful of unused jumpscares, the Pineapple toppin monster originally functioned similar to other toppin monsters, instead of its current function being to summon (or turn into) piranapples. There are also 5 scrapped 3d animated versions of all the toppin monsters jumpscares, besides Oktoberfest. It's funny how the pineapple toppin monster had both of its jumpscares scrapped.
That Ronald Mcdonald Insanity tune may not have been intended for the final boss at any point, but I'm certain it inspired the Phase 2 music of the actual final boss. The little snippet played here for demonstration purposes immediately brings that track to mind.
i cant get enough pizza tower. literally i can not get enough of this game. when a game i LOVE has some unused content i will always try to find it. also i found a little thing in the sprites. i found Mr. pinch's entire a stringy cheese enemy that would later turn into Mr. pinch, a cheese boat witch was used in an early build, a pot full of a boiling substance, and a minecart for some reason. keep up the great work love the content!
Fun fact: you can still get Knight Noise in the current version There's a video tutorial of how to play as noise And once you've got noise, go to pizzascape
So basically Fire-mouth Pepp was originally the Fire Wario transformation where you ran for a while before the fire consumed him and turned him to ash. I love these parallels with the games.
Not only did Pizzahead goes beast mode, Peppino goes beast mode aswell. That means the sheer amount of power that goes on above the Pizza Tower probably caused the destruction of the Pizza Tower.
the box transformation was also used in a scrapped noise boss called "noise crusher" (bossroom1) when the noise crushed you i believe you'd lose it by getting hit by a noisey as well it's left over in i think golf and xmas build but is busted due to being outdated
Great video on even more unused stuff from this game and some of it is actually really cool tho I kinda wish we got an explanation on the other 3 abilities that didn't have one.
The peppino with lots of bullet holes in him is exactly that, just a negative transformation that would happen after getting shot. Probably by the ranch ranchers, or whatever they were earlier in development. My guess is it would be called "Swiss cheese peppino."
5:47 not sure about this but if I'm not wrong at the end of freezerator you need to use this cow to get out of the devil's choice transformation and exit the level
You are wrong. At the beginning of The 2nd lap of refrigerator refrigerator freezerator, there’s a cow infront of the 2nd lap pizza/portal that Peppino is forced to drink milk from, removing the chili-pizza transformation for the entirety of lap 2.
I kinda think it’d have been cool to see the final boss, who has been characterized as a goofy, happy go lucky comical guy, to completely snap and go full serious mode, wanting to get rid of Peppino once and for all.
I agree! I think the devs were trying to go against the trope of ″funny guy turns out to be able to get serious/angry″ by having Pizzahead's personality be completely consistent and unchangeable, but I honestly would've preferred if they just let him get angry for an epic showdown.
I think the Swiss cheese transformation was meant to be an unused unique death sprite for the fight with the noise, as perhaps, the noise would've been able to actually use his minigun in a potentially unused third phase back when he was playable as the devs might've wanted to make it where the noise could be unlocked after fighting him and they would've wanted to showcase his whole movement in the fight before the player plays as him, but I'm guessing that since the Vigiante already used a gun in his battle, AND since the noise would've had his moveset more similar to Peppino, as you discussed in the previous video, plus, no other boss fight had any kind of unique death animation or sprite for Peppino, it was decided to remove this third phase, though, that's just speculation. The reason I think it would've been a unique death animation for the noise fight, is because the noise's page on Wikipedia says before the noise can turn Peppino into Swiss cheese, noisette comes in and takes him away.
With how many hoverauls and resprites this game got there is so much unused content left out of the full version that you could make a whole other game out of it

Hey Tetra! I have a request for a Lost Bits episode. There’s this game developed by Monami Park called Slime Rancher, and it has a bit of scrapped content.
10:46 Oh hey, reminds me of one of Earthworm Jim's idle animations. Ya know, the one where he juggles his blaster and accidentally shoots himself. 10:59 Also, I'd say, rocket Noise looks quite... suggestive, to say the least. And one more thing, Snick is "sorta" in the game, but only as two easter eggs: 1) one of Gustavo&Brick taunts, where Snick replaces Brick, whilst Gustavo accusively stares at him, 2) in one of hub easter egg rooms with washing machines, hiding under a white blanket. And yet another thing: Noisette's theme seems to be a remix of Noise's old chiptune-ish theme
The cool thing is, nearly all of the transformations for the noise are still in the game, The way you play as the noise is going into properties on pizza tower and putting in "debug" and then loading into the game press F5 and put in "player_room characterselect A" it has to be capital A and once you press enter, it will take you to the multiplayer screen, just press the noise and bam and he may look weird! but sage blue fixes that.
Spaghetti was actually intended to be in pizza tower, and is used in the pizza tower SAGE 2019 demo, i'm pretty sure it was originally supposed to be all 3 spaghettis in the level but it ended up being scrapped and left with just hot spaghetti and cold spaghetti.

There’s this game developed by Monami Park called Slime Rancher, and it has a bit of scrapped content.
If i'm not wrong, McPig said we are getting noise back as a character due to most of his animations being finsished
I got so distracted that I ate my spoon.
also pizza car is inspired on koopa car, enemy in super mario bros maker 2 you can kill the koopa and enter in his car
Pretty sure they're not, you have a source?
@@insertafunnynam3 sorry if i can be incorrect, but you need to kill the enemy and enter on the car i think...
@@luizotaviogamer12 Mario maker 2 didn't invent cars
@@insertafunnynam3 its have, koopa car
5:18 fun fact:these Super metal blocks are not scrapped but unused (i think) these are left over in the games files (again i think)
19:00 Now all it's missing is a version that plays in a webcomic cutscene and a remix alongside a Peppino costume in Super Smash Bros.
