It's hard to put into words how good a writer Lena is.
The Thanksgiving Ep of Master of None that she wrote has the mark of a well written piece that in thoughtfully and beautifully documenting the specific and particular truth of a story transcends that story and is universally relatable.
I must watch it again.
Is there anything this lady can't do? She's amazing and definitely someone I want to see in more projects for years to come! Thank you Lena for creating such amazing stories and characters!!!

“Master Of None” in its entirety is a piece of cinematic art.
That show covers every spectrum of a “hit show”.
It will go down as one of my generations (millennial) most cherished cinematic developments. My Kids’ will be watching this shit some day, the same way we still watch “Friends” and “Will & Grace.” Absolutely love this show and everyone involved in it.

It's a privilege to see her blow away those ridiculous, senseless & useless, archaic, irrelevant & racist stereotypes that close-minded people clung to out of fear and ignorance. She's so real and clearly cares about the injustices injuring, not just men and women of colour, but of all who've suffered harassment.
Unlike some who feel they need to convince us of their "stable genius"& that they're "like, really smart", Ms Waithe's talent, intelligence, dignity & hard work speak for themselves.

True but if you see one of the police officer's (Drug task force officer), he just boils it down to the kid being in a gang/drug ring so he got killed in retaliation which wasn't the case. I think that's a key reasoning why black ppl don't go to the police

Race is always a factor in the world. Until everyone on Earth is treated equal and not called racial slurs or not targeted by the police or government by racial profiling, them racism will always be there
There's a problem with being colorblind. Let's say a person of color is denied housing, or a job, or basic respect from another person solely because of their race. As a "colorblind" person, you deny that it is because of their race and instead assume that they deserve to be treated this way. Instead of being denied housing because of their race, you assume they are denied housing because they are financially unstable. Instead of being denied a job because of their race, you assume they are unqualified. Instead of being disresepcted because of their race, you assume they did something wrong. It's great if you treat everyone equally, but please also understand that not everyone does.

She can wear a sweatshirt & sneakers when she goes to meet her local dealer. She offended her host in this case Colbert. She can't change her hooligan way of talking so ease but she could at least show respect to talk show host by dressing nicely. It takes time to get rid of attitude of a hooligan " my fair lady ".
