  • Hey all! This one covers the DIY made from 'scraps' trail groomer that we set aside some time to make recently. Releasing this video pretty late in the season, as here our winter wasn't an overly snowy one. Lots of rain and mild weather, which is not what we are normally used to. It felt really good to finally get it hooked up to our Honda Pioneer 520 and out on the trails. It's amazing how well it smooths out what would normally be rough sections of our trails. The snow builds up in the groomer, and then drops into the low spots, levelling things out as it goes. This works really well in cold weather, with fresh fluffy snow (if you can make a snowball in your hand, it's too warm to groom properly). We hope you enjoyed the video. Beautiful bush lot. So relaxing to go for a walk.

That works great! It looks like your 520 has no issue with traction now that you've got the lockers on the front. My P500 had the lockers before I got the tracks and it's something- I can't wait for snow. I added power steering at the end of the season- what a nice difference!

We are stoked to get back to grooming! The locker is so awesome with the tracks for sure. How much transformation with the power steering? Thinking seriously about adding it before winter.

Nice! Did you find that the angled boards work well lifted off the ground a few inches?

Yes we did, it seems to help the snow keep ‘rolling’ in the groomer which is great. They are a fairly weak point though, as one caught on something last year and broke. Thanks for watching!!
