As someone who has moved to Scotland, being able to make Girl Scout cookies myself will make my life happier
Now I'll never run out of Tagalongs
I love the trefoils I know I'm boring but they're so amazing ^_^
I do too! They get so much hate
Bought girls scout cookies for the first time last week. I bought 2 boxes of trefoils. They did not disappoint and they did not last long. I am thinking about a big order or making them because man

This has been great! Thank you very much, I am baking at the moment and got side tracked lol. Baking really is a struggle. So if you could blend in the ingredients in a side bar, I would be here taking notes. :)

I like the Savannah Smiles! Partly because my name is the same but also because lemon cookies are yummy.
Thank you. Savannah Smiles. Lemon crescents dusted with powdered sugar. Next, Do Si Dos.
GS introduced a new one, S'Mores.
I always called them tree-foils. Fave is Tag-a-Longs
Does shortbread need to be rolled out or can I just ball them with a cookie scoop and flatten them?

Samoas are my fave! In the US Walmart sells “fake” Girl Scout cookies year round at less than half the price! It’s dangerous!

Thin mint

Mines r tagalong and samoas
The thin mints make 36 and i halved it by 4. Not good, lol.
You don’t need to keep the separate of the thin mints
I couldnt hear her if she said 325 or 125 degrees so I just did 325
For thin mint cookies take Oreos either Chocolate/ Golden remove the cream center set aside. 12 ounces chopped semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate (not chocolate chips)
1 tablespoon refined coconut oil Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil in a double boiler, stirring until smooth. OR Alternatively, melt in the microwave in a medium heatproof bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until the chocolate is mostly melted (continue stirring after you remove it to melt the rest of the chocolate). Let cool 5 minutes. Then add Mint Extract to desired taste.Dip the cookies. Line a second rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer cookies onto it. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set. Refrigerate until the chocolate is hardened, at least 10 minutes.
RECIPE NOTES
Coconut oil substitute: You can use canola oil in place of coconut oil, but the chocolate won’t be as “snappy.”
