I feel like a gain a couple IQ points every time Nolly talks. I can't imagine how much I'd learn if I was in a band with him
Patrick Walden Exactly how I feel watching Periphery's interviews and stuff.
+Patrick Walden He should definitely get more spotlight for his audio engineering skills because he's incredibly knowledgeable and like you said, every time he talks about it you walk away with something new learned
JUST DO IT. MAKE. YOUR DREAMS. COME TRUE.
Solaxer Was looking for this ^
Lol perfect
Would love to see Nolly do a Creative Live class and share his knowledge.
Andy Hargrave Music Its coming in August!
Dan Clarkson Sick!
like a 6 hour livestream class. Cannot bloody wait!
+Dan Clarkson Has it come yet?
Yeah it was 2 6 hour classes on Creative Live. You have to buy them now to watch them.
Nolly- ''I'm from bawth BATH'' cracks me up for some reason
Well put Matt. You're exactly right about drummers and their individual sound.
not just drummers, musicians in general
It's nice to see Matt involved in one of the interviews
juggernaut came is a masterpiece. The work they put in shows. It's in a rare air of exceptional albums in my mind.
Matt said it so well. It's not the arrow or the bow, it's the archer.
2:54 i love this "plays riff" nolly says "how about this?" then :O
Honestly guys, Juggernaut is in my humble opinion the best Metal-Album of the last years. This thing is just overall well written, recorded and produced. From the first note to the last a true masterpiece!
0:24 That artwork, though!
2:56 droppin' nolledge
That's the funniest thing
OOoohh
Does anyone notice that the vocals for 'Alpha' sound quite different????? Sounds really good, too!
yes I did! would really like that version of alpha, please inform me if you find it :)
+Dr Boris Yum oh man, I totally would but I can't find it anywhere :(
+Dr Boris Yum It's the radio edit of Alpha!
Pretty lively crowd at 4:56
Spencer: "CIRCLE PIT! I WANNA SEE A WALL OF DEATH! CROWDSURF TO THE FRONT!"
The show at 4:50 (the soundcheck) is in Seattle!!! El Corazon! I was at that show and got the meet&Greet... memories I will never forget
How long ago?
David Martinez I wanna say it was in December so 6 months ago. I know this was the same show because Spencer has never had his hair that color EVER. That pink/purple color mohawk.
mat halpern's words here best words
end line "stop making excuses, and just do it".
Sounds like Mr. Shia
Whoa, if you listen as the interview goes on you can hear a drastic change in Spencer's vocals in the background compared to the album track.
Yeah that bit in the pre-chorus around 2:00 is completely different
***** ohhhh i didnt know there was a radio edit
+Lucas Novaes iTunes!
Alpha is one of the greatest songs of all time
what is that mic spencer is using???? anyone knows? 3:19 has a good shot of it
Manley Reference
so sad to hear that nolly left :(
Felipe Martinez he didn't leave! just not a touring member anymore, he's still a studio member though :)
Unfortunately that was true... but now Nolly has left permanently. He announced it on his social media pages.
haha
That looks like Kings Arms ,Auckland New Zealand at 4:58????? Was an awesome show
I downloaded stephs patches when he put them up, with my guitars they sounded like garbage
Great video.
At 2:10 - can someone help me figure out what's on top of the Axe-fx ?
R.I.P. Nolly
Who's the guy from bath?
4:58 - what a weird thing to see...
but....but why would you record with Beats? ._.
They're loud and comfy, perfect for tracking, not so much for mixing.
+Thousand Yard Stare Band I was going to say, I hope nobody uses them for mixing.
Thousand Yard Stare Band Not comfortable. Loud maybe. Overpriced 100%. why didn't they get dt770 or srh840 etc?
It's only needed for Spencer to hear himself
This is a nice band. Polyphery.
Who produced the album? Nolly or Taylor Larson?
matenorth sall taylor did the majority of vocals
Can't find Stephen carpenter on Axe-exchange
No fights or schisms? If true, it must be the first time ever.
Rip Nolly
"Just do it"
Haha sound check at el corazon
Fellow Brits let's give Nolly a hand
Oh god jake’s hair
just do it,okay...
Misha looks buff in this video...something's not right here lol
Byte MUSIC I thought misha always looked buff... I mean... he's a big guy.
The double album pales in comparison to select difficulty
They talk like they are Mutt Lange. Fuck, anyone can get a good production in 2016.
This would be one of the greatest bands ever if their vocalist sucked less. The singing is painful.
Do you still think so lol
