My guess is that Tamberlane is a Longwalker. During the ghost story scene, they were describing Longwalkers and it sounded like a human to me. The long legs, the 'mismatched teeth' and the ability to run long distances to tire out prey is a human hunting technique
Honestly makes a lot of sense the story could even be a way to instill a fear of humans at a young age painting our species as a mysterious boogeyman that snatch’s kid in the night

I'm guessing humans went almost extinct somehow and allowed animals to evolve to become anthropomorphic that's my guess. I hope we get more content relating to Tamberlane because this leaves so many questions. Also Belfry being a squirrel/bat hybrid is neat and her design is cute.

@@Lumberjack_king I don’t think it’s that complicated. If you remember in part 3 during the sovereign festival the head councilman told that story about the Marquettes. It clearly shows them as regular animals in a human world. They are digging through trash and not acting like sentient humanoids that they appear to be in the story. To me I feel like every creature of that world originated from our world, and that the “abroad” is earth or the human world. When someone is sick and has to go abroad for medication I assume when they arrive to our world the lose their humanoid form and assume their biological form of the animal that they are in our world and then get picked up and treated at a vet or something. But I also assume if they try to return to their world they don’t take their old humanoid form back. They just remain in their feral like form. That’s just my theory.
I’m a tad confused why some creatures wear clothing while others don’t but none have any genitalia to be seen but you can clearly see genitalia in the depiction of the Vitruvian Man. I understand it’s trying to be family friendly but I just find it strange in cartoons that some wear nothing and some wear partially while others wear full clothing.
I suppose it depends on personal preference. Like there's no societal standard to always wear clothes but creatures will wear clothes if it's otherwise too cold for them or for fashion purposes.

And mysterious, too. It makes me wonder if Tamberlane and humans have some connection to the Abroad that the animals are so afraid to even talk about.
