Nice video .... I had this new unit a couple months ago in my Tahoe and for me because I do a lot of phone calls while driving for work the phone quality sound is terrible my experience with it. I returned it and got the same one maybe the first one had issues. Installed the second one and had the same phone sound quality issue (delayed sound, choppy conversation people on the other end would miss words, and sometimes i would sound like a robot) but that really was my only issue other than that it was nice fast and responsive.
I have taken a couple of calls through the radio and everything seemed fine. Maybe the fix is to run the external microphone. If I do have issues, I will probably try that. Thx for the info, and as always thx for watching and commenting 🍻

Im looking at getting one of these for my 2011 silverado. Id like to run a sim card in it. Doing my research, they claim its only compatible with Tmobile? I have verizon. Is there a work around to that?
I have At&t and it works just fine.
How did you go about changing the IMEI on the new head unit in order to enable the 4G LTE network? I also have AT&T service so am curious. Thanks in advance.
I never had to actually change it. It just started working after calling in to at&t and inquiring about it.
@@T_B_C_L - Thanks for the quick reply. As for the password for the head unit, does that come with the user manual? Where would I get the password for the unit?
@babermehboob9402 I found it on page 45 of the user manual. Password is 126. It also explains how to change the boot logo. Kind of cool that the company takes feedback about the things their customers want and implements them .
@@T_B_C_L - I just received my head unit for my 2006 Mazda 3. I will look in the user's manual to see if I can find the pw for my unit (M3BKA12S ). Android 13. Yes, the support team seems to care about what their customers want and update the device each time. Thanks for your help as well! Appreciate it.
the app for the dash cam is on the cam go to file explorer and pick the camera ir has a file system on it and the app installer is there also u will need a memory chip for the front cam in the side of the unit it records everything
Holy moly you are absolutely right. It is on the camera. Weird thing is I installed the app but it still doesn't work. It's not showing the video even after updating app 🤔. I do have an SD card installed. Also, I honestly don't remember but it is just a USB cable coming from the camera right? I could not remember and that's the only cable I found coming from that direction in the dash. Any suggestions?
So I tried seeing factory makes and not programmed I have been trying uploading jpeg doesn’t work for boot up logo tried resizing to 700 pixels still no go. Also can you make the system shut down with key on and off instead of sleep after 2 hours option
I haven't tried changing boot logo yet but I'll give it a shot when I get a chance. I also haven't found a way to restart the system rather than just sleep.
Have you figured out how to change the boot logo and wallpaper?
Haven't messed with it yet but ,I will figure it out at soon.
Eonon code is usually 126 for system settings in these newer units.

I just put one of these in my truck and the volume is stupid loud. On level one i can barely sit in the cab. Any suggestions?
Try going to settings, car, factory settings, password =126,other,amp volume. Try adjusting that setting to see if it helps. I forgot to ask, are you running amps or just factory internal power from the radio?

if u use a sim in the radio dont connect andriod auto trun off vluetooth in your phone then everything will work on the eonon even while driving
This is true but then if I get a call I cannot use the the radio for hands free, which is pretty important to me. The good thing is that, everything works seem less between android auto and all the other apps, as long as you have the Sim data working. Maybe if someone didn't want to use android auto or Apple CarPlay they could just connect Bluetooth to still have the hands free calling. Either way should work. What’s the point of the sim ? Plus I don’t have an android I have iPhone so I’ll be able to access everything still right ?
@@slamd_09 yes the radio also has wireless Apple CarPlay so you are good there. As far as the Sim, it just provides the radio with its own data. If you use carplay it's probably not a huge deal but it's very convenient if you wanted to watch some RUclips or Netflix while waiting for the Ole Lady in the store 😁.

Did you get any alternator whine with the previous head unit? I have the pro and the whine is ridiculous. I'd love to get this new one if it works that much better.
Honestly, I didn't get any whine with either. Maybe you got a bad unit! I'm going to suspect if you get this one and you still have a whine issue, maybe you have a ground issue on a body ground, or I've even gotten whine frome a bad alternator before.
