I'm from Toronto and Coronavirus took my Apr9 birthday present tickets to see them in NYC. So sad. Would have been the 4th time seeing them. In It For The Money Tour at the Opera House was my favourite but that was 25 years ago.
Supergrass never really registered on my musical radar before...All i can say iv missed out! Rediscovered them in 2023 and boy Damn are they good! So sad i passed them by...Such a mistake!
There is no other band that sounds like Supergrass. They have really beautiful, imaginative ways of composing which is why their songs have lasted the test of time. If you are learning your trade for songwriting then Supergrass are defo a band to study as they keep things quite simple however as with so many times in music- unexpected chords and rhythms ect give rise to those brilliant songs that we all try to attain. It's very very easy to write poor songs and very very difficult to write original great songs but like The Beatles, The Beachboys, Queen, ABBA ect...Supergrass are amongst them also.
OMG.......wha.......OMG........where was the memo in 2019 of my band getting back together......WTF THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From my standpoint in the US, I always felt that these guys were much more the disciples of the Beatles than Oasis, without ever having to try as hard to ape them. Don’t get me wrong, I also love Oasis…But this is the band from that era that I want to hear. Glad to see them still out there and sounding great
I’m not a musician but have loved music since hearing Happy Together & Everyone Knows it’s Windy & more and when I play Supergrass hear bits in some tunes which def remind me of the styles of T Rex , Pink Floyd ( Late in the Day guitar break ? ) Beatles , John Lennon , Monkees , Buzzcocks ( Caught by the fuzz ? ) and perhaps others although with their classic or biggest selling tunes don’t actually Copy actual tunes or riffs like the ‘ Toughguys of 90s Pop ‘ have apparently admitted to . Whilst I am on the subject , Is there a Westcountry Oasis tribute band called OOARSIS ? A workmate claims to have seen a tribute on a cruise ship called Phil Colons whom wasn’t very good but he’s prob winding me up . ❤️🐢
I watched them a few times back in the day in Perth Australia. Good to see they’ve still got it and i hope to see them back soon. I still have the third record signed from 78 Records.
Top, merci !
These guys are amazing! Been a fan since 99! I'd have fired the sound guy. Poor Gaz yanked his ear monitor out in the second song. What a shite mix for such a great band. Way to fight through boys! Great set despite the mix!
Yes mate - you made it too ! There’s still no flying cars or hyperloop but AFCBournemouth are in Division 1 which I still cannot believe because I’m from 1986 . It’s pretty boring after 9 pm nowadays In my old village anyway , one makes a fucking sound outside even on a lovely summer night which is a bit creepy if you want my opinion. Take care & best of luck 😃

How good was moving. I find that song really emotional for some reason. Always have.
Excellent live band! Was lucky enough to see them back in the day. They still sound great and Gaz's voice sounds better than ever.
I know it’s not a competition but Name 1 British 90s band that would come out now and beat Supergrass in a battle of the bands , I'll wait .
Radiohead.

2020 reunion
Just under rated. That's all I have to say. I can for pumping of course.
They have so many great songs
One of my favorite bands from the U.K., hope to see you guys in New York!!!
It's great to see these guys back!

The greatest Brit pop era band.
Sounds amazing. And still stylish

they pissed all over oasis , Supergrass a British classic
I'm not a big fan of The Beatles but I'm a massive fan of Supergrass. More like a mix of Buzzcock and Kinks.

Love to hear some new music by these guys!
Nice atmosphere, sweet setlist. Mick IS shy, however. The dude is wearing shades indoors :)

Richard III is a live killer! And they play so tight. It's a joy.
All about the groove. The drummer still sounds awesome.
Muchas gracias desde México, lo estoy viet en tiempos de cuarentena, los quería ir a ver a LA pero muchas gracias, excelente Setlist.
Bien brotha🙌 aunke estarán de nuevo en el Wiltern L.A, este mayo 2022.

thank u so much!
So jealous. Was going to see them in NYC but the show was postponed for obvious reasons 😟
🧻🖐😷🖐🧻 what obvious reasons ?
@@evanwolf6618 the main reason was that the band wouldn't be able to make the venue and fans would not be let in anyway.
@@therapist6328 why?
I was there. Great concert, one of the last for me before the pandemic.
We ALL were there…

Wait..this didnt get cancelled due to rona?
This was a month before the whole Covid thing kicked off.
Nope…it got cancelled…dumb arse
Since when did Gaz and Mick swap vocal parts on Mary?
Mick sings the higher harmony on the album too.
jamzftwneverdies he’s singing the lower part here.
