Almost brings tears to my eyes. Really loved this band. I think I had never felt in any other band, this bond: something like meeting the best representation of yourself, if you were made of music.
Definitely the most authentic band of its scene. Their music makes me get back in late 90's, a time when it was still possible to dream of the future, get inspired by rock bands, their messages and attitude. I can even remember the feeling of being an innocent lad, the daily routine that I couldn't imagine I would miss one day! Well... Thanks for sharing this excellent documentary. Thanks Supergrass.
When I listen to Supergrass I’m twenty something again, even though I’m fifty something. I’ve had some of the happiest days of my life with them as the soundtrack.
I saw them in the Olympia, Dublin ...on the 14th and 15th February...then queued in Tower records to get the Album signed. Best weekend of my life. They have a truly special sound that resonates with your soul - a real sonic playground - all out rock n roll.....Cherish them forever.
Great documentary, I remember buying the DVD in 2004 when it came out. Funnily enough I put it on a few weeks ago when I saw live again in Leeds. Brilliant band, and a really fun, well-made documentary.
Saw them live in Auckland, New Zealand, 1999 (or 2000?). They were fucking brilliant. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Played for an hour, all the hits, one encore (Alright) and they were off home! Perfect!
I teared up when It's Not Me came on! I've always had a weird connection to that song. My entire life I've wanted to see Supergrass play live and now I finally can in March!!! I've never been so excited for anything in my life.
Such a great documentary (own the DVD), just for the fact it's really just about a group of mates been in a band that happened to be successful. No bitterness or egos clashing. Crazy to think how young Gaz was during the nineties, he was only 24 when the nineties ended. Nice to see early footage of the band.
Love this band, from debut to today, to Gaz' solo records. Saw Supergrass at the Quart festival with Ben fold five on the bill and Potusa. Also shared a drink with Gaz in London. In my world SG took Oasis' place. Great upload
What a decade in music the 90's was......unbelievable.....the music that came from all these bands!!!!!Supergrass....Oasis....The Verve.....Blur.....Pulp....the list goes on and on!!!!!
@@taliaprice1909 ego and money weren't really motives they had... and if you look at one of the gaz coombes interviews he does mention a reunion some day... it's just too soon
Please does someone know where the location is at 40:40 where they took the photos for the In It For The Money album cover? I believe it's an industrial estate in South London but would love to know!
The end of the film made me laugh. Have a listen after the credits when they are on the boat. Classic. Ps I've just bought I should Co Co.... 24 years after I got the cassette. Its brilliant.
@@TisTheDamnStickSeason They are both great bands.I like Oasis but also Blur.I never got in this battle of the bands. But i wish this music was back in the charts. Not that shit that we have nowadays.
One of the grestest rock bands in history.
Second that
3rd that

They are still going 🙂
Have this on DVD, I must have watched this a thousand times...
Me too, one of my absolute favourites.
This is wonderful, they are so down to earth and not phased by fame still to this day. Which is why I have stayed a fan for 20yrs 🙂

Best sense of humor in a band since XTC. Long live Supergrass!
Where have all the funny lads gone, eh?
Such a phenomenal band….and one that never got their full due here in America. To this day, still one of my favorites.
What a great band and not pretentious at all - just 3 lads playing music together and open to experimentation - love it
I wish more bands were like that

I really enjoyed this documentary ! Thank you
Can't help thinking we were robbed of more great music by these lads. ( big fan by the way )

I hope you got to see them post-COVID lockdown. I did!
Wait For The Sun is quite a moment too!

I went back to England,
And rented out a shack,
I looked into the bathroom and it was full of cack.
I hears that for the first time at 3:40 !!....Great lyrics,is it an early Jennifers demo or what?

refreshingly non tortured musicians...
My favourite band!
God I love this movie. And band of course.
Strange hearing about how much they love their band, and being together and then they're gone! Never to play together again.
Phangmaster ego money and change in direction. I thought they would last long like Radiohead

@@taliaprice1909 that's pretty impertinent, you obviously don't know much about them.
Until 2020
Great documentary watched it a few times when it first came out 😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
52:46 - That poor Telecaster had to endure quite a bit of abuse back then X-)) Anyway, great docu! Fun to watch :-)
Cant believe this movie about supergrass, exists..!!! Great. Thank You, Folk.
Wonderful sense of humour underlying everything.

Fantastic songs !!!!
¿Alguien más de México que ame esta fantastica banda?, ¿

1:05:02 - Who's Coming To The Pub? One of my favourite Supergrass tunes 😂🍻
What a great band that could have been even bigger if they wanted

Would of loved to be in this band...❤
Awesome! I'm a little late in the game but thank you so much for posting
So good
THEY ARE BACK!
6:01. I want more of that tune
Me too! Is it a cover or one of their songs?
It’s the same rhythm as sex, try that
Please does someone know where the location is at 40:40 where they took the photos for the In It For The Money album cover? I believe it's an industrial estate in South London but would love to know!
If that Tuba is called Tubby , it can claim to have been in Supergrass and Supertramp 😁
Always welcome in the antipodes
