- It's time for an update! You guys loved my original smoke grenade comparison where I was comparing the IWA vs Enola Gaye, two popular airsoft smoke grenade distraction devices.
You can watch that original video here:
• Smoke Grenade Comparis...
Today, I'm comparing THREE different smoke grenades:
IWA International to Enola Gaye 18x and Mil-X
The EG18X is the same size as the regular EG18, but the smoke output is delivered in a much shorter time. It’s popular with film-makers, in combat simulation, and with photographers.
Enola Gaye Mil-X Smoke Grenade: This military style fly off lever smoke grenade has a military pin with a burn time of 60 seconds which produces a massive amount of smoke.
M14 Smoke Deployment Device: This is close to a real military smoke grenade as you can get! These grenades have an authentic fly-off lever. You simply pull the pin, deploy the unit by dropping/throwing the device to a safe distance away. Once the lever is released, there is about 3.5 second delay and the smoke deployment device will emit stream of high-density White smoke for 40 seconds.

What do you think, which one is best for price, size and smoke output?
You really should try the enola gaye SD75 It's crazy. If you think the Mil-X is "the big boy" you'd be very surprised.
@@NinjaRabbitpro we use them in skydiving but there's no way I'm carrying that around for emergency purposes lol
@@NinjaRabbitprowhere can you get em at? Id even take some from this video for paintballing
Been hunting these down as I finish my wonderful 4th of July Vest. Really happy with this video guys I appreciate you making it!
Happy to hear it was useful, thanks for watching!
Can’t believe I’ve never come across this channel. Good video from a great channel 👍🏾
Nice review. Thx for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Great video
The best smoke greade I ever saw was one I bought 30 years ago(how did I get so fucking old?) From a shop in tempe az called the Command Post. It was a green cardboard tube with bright orange writing and it had a little wire with a finger loop at the end that you pulled out. I set this off at the place I was working at the time in Tempe AZ called Malibu Grand Prix and the main road was about 40 yds away from the place I tested it. The smoke was so thick it stopped traffic on the main road it was so much I got that OH Shit what did I do feeling and was just waiting for the cops to show up.
Lol traffic shutting down is definitely an oh sh$t moment
did they end up coming?
@kriss3401 No they didn't I got lucky and all the traffic moved enough air to clear the smoke pretty quickly.
I have several MIL-X greens that my Uncle gave me a few years ago to add to my to-go bag and I was curious how much smoke the put out. Thanks for the video!
Also, are you in San Diego? The background looks very familiar (looks like where the 805 and the 8 meet in Mission Valley) if not then ignore my question, just saw it and wanted to ask :)
Yeah, glad the video could be useful and yes, the video was about in mission valley. Good eye!
Nice!
Evading under smoke is a no go. But I would keep a few around just in case you have ideal conditions.,, No wind.
My favorite, " thick smoke"
I had a batch of about 20 IWA and I got a chance to try my buddies IWA 37mm launcher... we had a good smoke show with ours... used Red and Blue smoke and it was pretty thick and lasted about a minute... maybe the one you used was from the old batch that you had last video... purchase or request some new ones and see if theres a difference because the ones we used seemed to be perfect.
I did see the smoke devices had a different packing/label design. Maybe they did improve from what I had. The one I used was months old.
The “safety clip” is basically the same as the confidence clip on the MK67.
Proper Grip! Thumb the Clip! Twist/Pull Pin!
Grenade range days were always my favorite. The closest man will ever come to throwing fireballs like Mario.
Where can I get em at bro? Ive been looking for some good smoke grenades for paintballing.
Check out evike.com. not sure of the exact site address but Google iwa international m14 if you want the iwa stuff. Should come up pretty quickly
Could you test some obscuring smoke grenades? Color smoke is for signalling and marking, not obscuring things.
These all perform the same regardless of color
colored smoke is used for obscuring, marking, and signaling
Where the heck are you at? Anyway ,,, reminds me of the movie Fury when war daddy said put some smoke in his face. They must have waited a good while for ideal conditions. Are you at a training facility?
🤣 no just in my neighborhood in San Diego. Also set off the civilian legal "flashbangs" at night here. Last time we immediately heard sirens coming our way lol
How do I order these ?
Evike.com for both enola gaye
I wonder if you can attach that to a dirt bike and drive it around on the road with all the smoking coming out 🧐
We do it in skydiving while attached to our ankle so yeah I don't see why not
@@CivilianWarrior I’m putting that on my buck list

Please, I'm way better looking! Lol
it looks like flare 🎉
Loadout Coming 😂
TAGinn doesn't make smoke grenade?
They do but it hasn't been in stock since the war in Ukraine started. Taginn used to make some of their products in Russia and were banned from importation
@@CivilianWarrior too bad... Why human do war and gambling with life instead of just play softgun and gambling with skill. :(
I'm liking the EG-18X's, although for me they have been $21 apiece.
Where are you buying them
@@bradysmart2804 Shutterbombs
Bro, buy them from evike lol
@@tomrobinson7817 😂 those air soft stores always give us good prives
The red smoke grenade useful for signals, S.O.S, helicopter rescue for last resort and saves lives.
Colored smoke is horrible for this.. it’s a lot heavier then just a regular smoke..
Interesting, didn't know that thanks. But I carry orange smoke bc it's the international color for distress.
why would you do this in a windy place holy shit
Bc San Diego is always windy so it was this or nothing, you're welcome!
...aaaaand they're banned 😂
They actually aren't anymore. Spoke to them at SHOT and they got their ATF approval
What’s with all of you testing smoke grenades on the windiest days. So silly
I live in San Diego and close to the beach where it's always windy
Camera Man needs to tighten up Bro.
That was my bad. I failed to explain what I wanted in the video
HOA is gonna be fuming!
oh they were. especially with all my flashlight videos and me lighting up the home in the background lol
😂😂😂
I'm sorry but they seem entirely useless compared to an M83. Sure the ones shown here are airsoft smokes but still, seems like wasted money.
@@alexrivera4020 Did you even read the entire comment? lol
How can I go about purchasing the milx? @civilianwarrior
Try going to dirtyworks.com and type in mil-x in their search. Disregard the statement that it's for military and law enforcement only. I ordered mine as a normal customer and they shipped them out no issue
They all suck. No coverage at all.
weak
first of all learn how to hold a grenade 🤣😂🤣
First of all, these aren't grenades🤣😂🤣
