It's backfiring cause it's running to rich and raw fuel is getting in... Backfiring could come from the exhaust valve being to tight and letting compression get by on the compression stroke the exhaust has nothing to do with backfiring

a- Rush is the clutch in your bike easy to pull and does the cable fully extend back out because every time I shift I have to use a finger to push the clutch back out
I used to have to do that too but I sprayed some WD-40 on the cable inside the lever and down at the bottom of it where it moves up and down and now it's like butter. It's so much easier and when I let it go it just pops right back into place.
I thought backfiring was where unburnt fuel got into the exaust and ignites from the heat of the exaust
HORIZEN5CAN11 That's when flames come out, not backfiring.
Backfiring, is when unburnt fuel gets thru the intake and shoots flames out of the carburetor, afterfire is when it shoots flames through the exhaust.
