the garage that i used to rebuild and restore my '61 mga looked about the same as the one in your intro. i think it originally housed a buggy and had a small stable for a horse on the side. it sat at the back of a house i was renting at the time (1971). its foundation was made of stones cemented together. i think it was built around the turn of the 20th century,
Yes this one had the same purpose and was probably constructed around the same time. Interestingly the doors have remnants of some sign writing on them so must have been used previously on a commercial building. The floor even has a hole cut in it where a previous inhabitant used to drain the oil out of his car and onto the ground below!
