Hi David, love your reviews! I have read that there may be a slight latency in the Bluetooth system for this camera grip. The user said that when he pressed the shutter button on the grip it did not instantaneously activate the shutter. Did you find that to occur?
Thanks and another enjoyable review. On trips I take most of my photos with a camera but still a healthy number with my iPhone. However, I intend to expand into taking iPhone videos hence my interest in a cage or this. One concern I have is my iPhone 13 mini which due to its size seems to be an orphan with various devices however, your mention of the SE is promising but I still have a concern with attaching (Moment) lenses and filters.
Last point - don’t you have to stick an adhesive round patch on the camera or camera case?

Nice grip, but adding lenses or filters seems rather impossible. So might not be the best for photographers.

I don’t get it either. You still hold the phone with two hands most of the time. Then you have a big bulky item where you can’t just sick it back in your pocket.
Not a great grip for a S22 Ultra if you want to use it as a shooting grip. As just a charging grip and stay away from the shutter button then it's really good. It's very comfortable like David says. Docking station is a great function too. Just don't try and use it as a shooting grip with newer Samsung phones.

@@5280climber the phone registers the shutter button as a volume button push. If you map your volume buttons to take a pic then it's fine. If you map your volume buttons to zoom in/out or focus in/out then every time you push the shutter button it zooms or focuses. You can map the volume button to take a pic but then you have to do it for all your camera apps. Also if you map your volume button in the phone settings to do anything then that screws it up too. Like I said, it works great as a grip, and Qi charging dock. Just expect to use your phone as you would without the grip.
"It comes with a box". That should not be a review point. That's fishing for something to talk about. Any visuals of the actual shooting experience? The range of what it does photography-wise?
@david_addison I’ve been looking at this and the fjorden grip, which you’ve also had chance to use. Would you recommend one over the other? I like that fjorden has multiple controls including a 2-stage shutter, it seems pro grip is a single shutter button only.
If your phone is your only camera, then maybe. It is way too big and expensive. It's smaller brother, Snapgrip is as expensive and even the basics cost extra. Here, UUrig PH 10. Less than $20. All the basics, even zoom and wireless shutter. If it sucks, you lost little. No I don't work for them.

Can I use the ProGrip with a phone case?
ProGrip can only accommodate phone cases up to 2.5mm thick. We recommend using a phone case that has a flat back and is not bulky.
Is ProGrip waterproof?
ProGrip is durable and has sweat-proof material. However, it is not water resistant and should be away from water at all times.
Can I zoom-in/ out with the ProGrip?
ProGrip does not have a zoom-in/ out feature.

On the webshop they offer free shipping from a certain amount but they will charge you enormous amounts if you back them here. I did the biggest pledge and they now change me $275,00 dollars just for shipping. This is a scam that they are running. So you do not get the discount they offer here.
