Hi David, love your reviews! I have read that there may be a slight latency in the Bluetooth system for this camera grip. The user said that when he pressed the shutter button on the grip it did not instantaneously activate the shutter. Did you find that to occur?
Nice video and well presented. Thank you. I've been leaning towards one of these and your review may just have swung it. Brownie points for shots of the city of Chester, where I was born and only live six miles away.
Thanks and another enjoyable review. On trips I take most of my photos with a camera but still a healthy number with my iPhone. However, I intend to expand into taking iPhone videos hence my interest in a cage or this. One concern I have is my iPhone 13 mini which due to its size seems to be an orphan with various devices however, your mention of the SE is promising but I still have a concern with attaching (Moment) lenses and filters. Last point - don’t you have to stick an adhesive round patch on the camera or camera case? Thanks again.
Hello, is there an iPhone 14 Pro Progrip? And if you order, do you have a kit that's lighting and a microphone? Are you ordering separately? I would appreciate it if please let me know
@david_addison I’ve been looking at this and the fjorden grip, which you’ve also had chance to use. Would you recommend one over the other? I like that fjorden has multiple controls including a 2-stage shutter, it seems pro grip is a single shutter button only.
"It comes with a box". That should not be a review point. That's fishing for something to talk about. Any visuals of the actual shooting experience? The range of what it does photography-wise?
I don’t get it either. You still hold the phone with two hands most of the time. Then you have a big bulky item where you can’t just sick it back in your pocket.
Not a great grip for a S22 Ultra if you want to use it as a shooting grip. As just a charging grip and stay away from the shutter button then it's really good. It's very comfortable like David says. Docking station is a great function too. Just don't try and use it as a shooting grip with newer Samsung phones.
@@5280climber the phone registers the shutter button as a volume button push. If you map your volume buttons to take a pic then it's fine. If you map your volume buttons to zoom in/out or focus in/out then every time you push the shutter button it zooms or focuses. You can map the volume button to take a pic but then you have to do it for all your camera apps. Also if you map your volume button in the phone settings to do anything then that screws it up too. Like I said, it works great as a grip, and Qi charging dock. Just expect to use your phone as you would without the grip.
If your phone is your only camera, then maybe. It is way too big and expensive. It's smaller brother, Snapgrip is as expensive and even the basics cost extra. Here, UUrig PH 10. Less than $20. All the basics, even zoom and wireless shutter. If it sucks, you lost little. No I don't work for them.
Things that they don’t tell in these sponsored “reviews“ aka ads: Can I use the ProGrip with a phone case? ProGrip can only accommodate phone cases up to 2.5mm thick. We recommend using a phone case that has a flat back and is not bulky. Is ProGrip waterproof? ProGrip is durable and has sweat-proof material. However, it is not water resistant and should be away from water at all times. Can I zoom-in/ out with the ProGrip? ProGrip does not have a zoom-in/ out feature.
All backers be carefull! for the company shiftcam On the webshop they offer free shipping from a certain amount but they will charge you enormous amounts if you back them here. I did the biggest pledge and they now change me $275,00 dollars just for shipping. This is a scam that they are running. So you do not get the discount they offer here. They just charge you a lot extra after they completed in the form of shipping cost.
Good video . My problem is I have an iPhone 15 Pro and would like to connect an external SSD. But the USB-C plug will definitely no longer fit.
Great review. Very slick professional video 👍

Good review, I need to look at your other reviews for grips. A bit expensive for me but like you said multi functional, cheers Vancouver Island Canada
Great video and the grip looks great.
Ik have ordered one today, can’t wait.
Enjoy it!

Can we have a tour of the accessory box of doom so we can avoid those same mistakes! 😂🙌🏻
hahah great comment :)
Wonderful video David!!
Thank you!
Agree
I crowdfunded this and really like the quality... good review
Bloopers were funny. Keep it up!
Well, I'm convinced.
Does it work if your phone has a case on it?

How You connect the mic with iPhone in ProGrip - it seems doesnt have space for switching anything to lightning plug-in in landscape mode!?

So informational. Thank you!
Question Does The Charging Unit Heat Up when In Use, You Did not Mention Whether It Did Or Not Thank You
Is this grip compatible with Reflexe G-Series lenses? Or will it interfere with photos?
Good review David. Could have used a bit more Shhuuuuuum though. I like the idea of these grips, but I'd need a left handed model.
‘More shhuuuuumm’ 📝 I can certainly oblige.

I own both. The problem with the fjorden is it has a smaller grip making it hard to hold…
Can you use this with an apple silicone case?
I’m gonna buy one now for my RUclips vlogs. 😂
Good info just subbed what tripod do you recommend for i phone pro max
Nice grip, but adding lenses or filters seems rather impossible. So might not be the best for photographers.
Is it waterproof? Can I use it in the rain?
Hey David! What’s the name of the microphone you used in the video for the phone attachment
Great video David, thanks! Just FYI many of your affiliate links are dead 💀 (and not in the good way LOL).
Hey! Do you still use CameraPixels? Just wondering! Would really like a review on it soon!
Ciao ma come posso acquistare
I love it. But at £134? Nah.
Great video!
Thanks Will!
So many times I wanted to have something like this where I can only use one hand.
Did you lose weight?
I’ve actually put on 8kg since December 😋

The mother at the end should get a grip.

Very dark video, can't see details..but good content though
At $260 Australian, you wouldn't want to throw it to the cows....
Australian? But that’s not ‘real’ money though, right?
Be honest, if you pass ‘Go’ do you get $200?
‘What did David do that insulted so badly you had to unsubscribe?’
‘He made a joke about Australian money.’
@@David_Addison it would be better if they made it so you can use in left hand side in addition to the right hand.
So many boxes, so much wasted packaging , come on manufacturers less packaging less WASTE!!
All that fancy packaging doesn’t make the product better, and contributes to ruining the planet.
Oh wow, does it? What should I do?
@@David_Addison you? Nothing I guess.
If only Amazon reviews were as enthusiastically. This is a sponsored ad, not a review mentioning its flaws. And that packaging is just absurd, IMHO
Amazon reviews are currently 4.5 stars from 248 reviews 🤦♂️
Haha, spend 150 euro to lose the meaning of a mobile camera. Why?
this is such a silly take lmao
