R. Kelly is my all-time favorite R&B artist- PERIOD. I HATE what he’s done. But his music has been the soundtrack to my life since that first album with Public Announcement. I heard “Honey Love” ONE TIME on BET. It was a wrap. I was absolutely in awe of his artistry, songwriting, vocals, and production. Genius shit.
And this is why I have major problems with Usher trying to claim that R&B king crown. Usher hasn't done a fraction of what R. Kelly has done in producing, songwriting, and vocal skills. I won't even bring up all of the instruments Kellz plays, the opera he wrote, and he has a song where he yodels beautifully. Now if being the R&B king had anything to do with dancing then. . .naw, he STILL wouldn't win! Sorry. (not really)
@@OrangeArdmoreOther people not Usher have been saying that. Usher response was: « why do people want only one king when RnB is more of a Kingdom with multiple kings. Anyways performance wise Usher has better performances.
@dsylla5064 I do not believe for one second that Usher talked about SHARING a crown. That doesn't even sound like top of the charts energy! Idk why you even posted THAT. You don't even believe it yourself. That's why you said this is what others are saying. 🤨 🤐

@@takeover5478 I don't think there was a way to help Michael. imo he was a hebephile. That's an adult with a strong, persistent sexual interest in pubescent children who are in early adolescence, typically ages 11-14. That's the age before boys start puberty or grow hair. That seems to be an age that's always resonated with Michael when we look at all of the celebrity boys he's befriended over the years and invited to Neverland Ranch. Clearly, something happened to Michael at that age where he could never get past it. R. Kelly was more of an ephebophile. That's someone whose primary sexual interest is in mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19. I think his interest in this age category has to do with his level of education. Since it is well documented Robert has a learning disability where he cannot read, write, or understand basic math. This level of illiteracy has made his pool of 'women' extremely small. Dating a much younger woman that matches his level of intelligence, I think, is what has always driven his choice in the opposite sex. I have never seen him as a predator, but more clandestine bc I honestly believe a lot of the girls he was with were brought by their parent(s).
R Kelly wrote Fortunate including all of the songs on the Life soundtrack.

Bar Kelly
Perfect name. But in multiple ways:
1. The bar at the top of the measuring stick
2. Giving girls the bar
3. Behind bars
