The middle is very rushed specifically with character development. There is very little attention given to skye before she is killed and she solely exists to make Viktor sad, which is simply bad writing, but it looks like they just cut a lot of her story from the show for some reason.

There has been some hints and i think its been portrayed that Viktor never cared deeply and is too set on his goals in the first place. While giving her more exposition would have been great it would also be unnecessary considering they will kill her off anyway.

As a hip hop fan and rapper , i actually enjoyed your reaction to JID a lot. You had 0 clue about the artist and its fame and all that , and gave the purest reaction to a rap lyric ive ever seen. Also you are 100% correct , he does have his own sound , and to be honest i would recommend checking his stuff out. Also for a bit of extra info , JID is to me and a lot of ppl one of the genius youngsters that have risen recently to the top of the hip hop scene. His lyrics , flow , metrics and voice are top level and will only get better with time , even if you are not an hip hop fan you will enjoy the trip for sure :D

JID is noted for his nearly syncopated drum pattern flows. Very unique and incredible. He is also good for giving you what you think is an end rhyme, but ends up being internal rhyming... but then picks up that syllable sound again in the next line as an end rhyme... and it just works.
If you could do "What Could Have Been" from the show I would be so freaking happy. That song makes me cry almost every time I listen to it, it's truly beautiful.

The whole soundtrack is a masterpiece. I've found that the slower songs are where I lean. What could've been, Guns for Hire, Goodbye, and Playground are probably my favorites. However, the faster, more aggressive sounding songs are also sooooo good. I've been listening to this soundtrack on repeat for months. Highly recommend listening to more.
