Most of that increase is because that PC doesn't have any kind of cooling besides passive cooling however I've seen quite a big difference on my main laptops performance aswell!
@@MalcolmBlk No problem at all. I tested it quick and the serial Monitor does work with minimal changes to the original code. you just need to have the serial monitor open on your computer and have the cooling pad plugged in
No vents? I'm not sure what you mean. Of course this won't cool as much as internal fans as they are able to blow hot air out but this is able to blow cold air onto the base of the laptop helping disperse hot spots around the computer which does improve performance if the computer is already thermal throttling.
thermal Trolling in my asus x550iu is very REAL bcs its capped 74c with 1 fans and 2 heatpipe combined (so i heard the cpu temp is read ass gpu temp to bcs of this) so i must drop down my cpu tempt under 74c? with sucks ASS cooling system? fucking shit
The LTT reference was funny because I came here from the Up next tab from a LTT video.
Did he say Thermal Throttle in the video?
The FPS difference from throttling on the atom PC - that's epic, almost 3 times!

This is a good idea. But you know what would make it even better?
RGB, lots of them.
You sir are the real MVP, gave me so much ideas, thanks!
So glad to hear that! Don't forget to share your ideas
I HEAR THAT NOTIFICATION BELL RING I HEAR THE SWEET SONG OF A BRAND NEW VIDEO
Will a peltier module, if Integrated into this help reduce temperatures even more?
in theory yes. as always - the detail of application matters
In your other cooling fan with usb port were pin it is connected from the arduino
Any ideas how to do this but with ability to control the fans through a program on the laptop rather than with the buttons?
For sure. Using the serial monitor would be the easiest way to do this
@@BuildItnow Wow, thanks for replying so fast! And thanks for the tip)

Cool project!
Thank you!
What grill u using?
Is it really going to cool that much when the hot air goes DOWN onto the desk with no vents ?

Lol did u just drop your arduino into the fan?? 3:26
Yes, I was mad at it
