In my experience, Sonos Arc + Subwoofer delivered better sounds in my living room. I returned my Bose 700 + Bass module 700. Both Sonos and Bose cost around 1500 euros in my country
@@claudiugeorge5445 they both go down to 25hz. The Bose IMO is more omnidirectional. Sounds great! Sonos is good. But I feel it’s more restricted and not as immersive.
I managed to scored the bar and sub for just about $1100. Add to that the bar I funded with some stuff I flipped that I had nothing in. So, if anything I'm out of pocket for just the Sub at about $550. I cannot wait to get this!!! I was going to go Sonos, but I need the slim profile of the Bose. Plus, I just like how it looks overall compares to the Sonos Arc too.
My Acoustimass 300 Base module died. I absolutely can't even watch TV without it... Will be upgrading to the Acoustimass 700 Bass module now. This is a fantastic sounding system!
I paid $1500 for the 900 soundbar, bass module 500 and the smaller wireless surround speakers, now i look forward to my days off from work to watch movies.
I managed to grab a 700 and module 700 for half price second hand as a bedroom bar. Sound is on par for what I payed. Doesn't blow me away. But its not bad. If I had payed retail money for this product it would be back in its box and back to the shop! Not worth 1500! But to somebody that only knows tv speakers. Then yes. This sounds incredible compared to them.

my advice buy the extra surround speakers by bose to complete the perfect surround sound experience. I had this already it it's amazing sound quality..

This is a big improvement over the T.V. and good enough. Real home theater is a projector and 100+ inch screen not just sound system. He NEVER mentioned ONCE a real system mate.

Bought the full system setup 2 weeks ago. This is a serious system, and the sound quality is immersive and clear. Both film and music buffs will be pleased. My only complaint is that I had trouble linking the system to my Amazon Music account. IMO, the Atmos and DTS:X technology is not yet ready so I will upgrade once I feel the tech is there.

This doesn’t even support atmos or dtsx and bouncing sound off the ceiling isn’t true height effects. Sound bar is for improving dialogue, that’s it. Never going to replace a traditional surround system. I have this Soundbar in my living room and it’s worth the price tag

I have an old Bose 5.1 surround system. Does anyone know if the subwoofer from that can be plugged into this soundbar. All Bose stores in the U.S. have closed so I can't go in & ask someone. Have you tested watching music on RUclips or videos on RUclips? I have the q950t soundbar and it has like no bass at all. Also the surround speakers are very quiet. I'm thinking about switching to the Bose 700 system
The bass box is not connected via cable with the sound bar. There is not even a cable for this delivered. At least not in the European version of this stuff. It is connected without cable.
Get the Sonos Arc with its subwoofer Gen 3 for about $1500 and let me know if that will change your mind. The Sonos Arc itself has eARC with 5.0.2. One up the Bose!
@@Rohank05 clearly you haven’t heard the Bose. Both are comparable. Doesn’t matter which you choose. In a blind test one will not be able to tell any difference at all. Both products are great.
I have tested bose acoustimass 700 and jbl 3.1 soundbars side by side , both with 10 inch subwoofer, and on same songs,on same movie trailers, they both sound equal. But bose acoustimass costs 600 euro ,and jbl 3.1 costs 300 euro whole system . So,in my opinion, those expensive subwoofers like bose 700 and sonos generation 3 isn't a value for money. Jbl is a beast. As for the bars , yes, the bose 700 bar sounds a little bit better than the jbl bar, with a little bit better midrange ,but again, it costs 700 euro. Way overpriced for what they give to us.
it has 4k passthrough have the Apple TV 4K connected on his output hdmi and even the HDR works and the resolution, im talking about Bose sound touch 300, it suppose the 700 its more new.

Can someone put me on how to connect the bass module to the sound bar 700? I’m having trouble connecting them together I even tried the hold down Bluetooth button with both volume buttons but nothing is happening
Try using the app, it works better. You will be able to see if it's connected as well. Make sure you play with your bass to make sure it high enough where you can feel it.
@@ajmoran2737 go on the app, look at the bottom right corner and click on the circle soundbar, you will see group speaker and you will click on add all. If it connects than you will see it pop up on the Audio section and it will be under Bass Module section.
If you haven’t gotten it set up yet go to the app. Click on the soundbar in the circle on bottom right. Click on settings. Click on accessory speakers. Click on add new speaker. That’s it! Make sure the bass module is in pairing mode.
It’s a great sound bar it sounds incredible I have nothing to say about that. But let’s finish the review would ya. -The issues with setting up Alexa it’s just ridiculous. - When the remote batteries are dead you have to set it back! If you’re lucky you’ll get it the first time but if not you will need to disconnect from power and if not you will have to turn you router off! - You will experience wifi connectivity issues which will make you set it up again! Like I say I have nothing to say about the sound that comes out of the soundbar, bass module or surround speakers (works better if you get a second pair it only supports one set at a time but jump them to make them work) are great. But they definitely have to improve their connection problems I mean it’s 1,500$ you are investing on surround system
I got the 700 SB and 500 Sub refurbished for 950USD + tax and the 700 Surround speakers for 500USD + tax, so it costed me about 1530$. Those tiny speakers can pack a punch if the TV can decode the sounds right (try watching Umbrella Academy).

I have the Bose sound bar with 2 subs and surrounds movies are ok but music playback sounds like crap so just got the Sonos ARC with 2 sub gen 3s and one sls as surrounds and it sound 10 times better than the Bose and music playback is excellent Sonos system is far superior👍

They're stuck in 5.1, they don't support eARC (which is required for Atmos), and they don't utilize any kind of height virtualization tech/upfiring tech/overhead support. Hell, they stopped supporting DTS-HD MA years ago. And I checked, no news on a Bose 900 or any future Bose product supporting Atmos, even checked the forums. Nothing but false hope

The 700 soundbar only works with the 500 or 700 bass module.you can pair i think up to 5 bass modules to 1 soundbar.

A friend who works for the Bose engineering dept. says the drivers are 90 watts per channel RMS.

I have since decided to go for an all-in-one Bang-Olufson. Trying to find a stand to house it and the 55" tv is taking some time.
With that you may not add a sub but with bose you can add two subs, even their cheaper 500 series sub shakes my mid size living room.

Not worth the money. Not even close . Sonos makes a much better product by far .
