This is a Review of how to install a Dual Bose Bass Module 700 with Bose Soundbar 700 / SoundTouch 300 and comparing them with and without the Bass.

I buyed the Soundbar 900 including the 700 subwoofer and OMG, this allready sounds so awsome. I had a Sony HT-A7000 soundbar but it didn't impressed me at all. BOSE is so much more cinematic sounding. Now because of your video I think I need a second 700 subwoofer 😅😎💪 It would be great to smoothing up the bass sound 👌
I have the full 700 version with 2 subwoofers, they both connect in wirless without the need for cables. I set them 100/50/100/100/60 (with an 80 suboofer) an absolute bomb, equal to cinema.
Can you run the adaptiveq with 2 subs in diferent position??
@@manuelmontecristo5883 Yes of course. And all the same as with one. Two subwoofers will fill the room better if it is large.
You can actually add 2 subs wirelessly I’ve done it and it works just press and hold the Bluetooth and play button simultaneously on your Bose remote and your second module should light up white and will run automatically, just run the adaptIQ to get a smoother sound.

Every soundbar should come with two subwoofers. Dual subs produce a smoother in-room bass response.

I have the Bose 700 with Sub. I can tell you that one sub is probably enough. I often find myself having to turn it down to 20 or 30 max. Cause its so powerful sounding. I have moved the sub in different locations in the room and it still fills the entire room and it seems to come from everywhere. Im about to invest in the 700 surround speakers, they are expensive but I think if you want to take it up another level that is the better way to go. Over all great system I am very happy with it. If you only have the sound bar you are only getting about 1/4 of the experience it makes a world of difference and I can't recommend it enough.
Yeah the surrounding speaker is must. Trying with 4 surround speakers then you xan thing again with dual sub. I go through with 2 bar 500 and 700 dual sub 700 and 4 surround speakers.

Just couple of days ago I added a second sub to Bose Lifestyle 650. and its just WOW !!!
Much richer and complete bass makes it worth investing.
note: it is possible to connect wirelessly.
Just bought bose 900 soundbar with 2x base modules 700s and a pair of surround 700s ...All connected wireless no problem using the bose app. Because bose 900 has exceptional clarity for dialog the 2 subs dont drown out any of the crispness of the soundbar. If you got the money for 2 subs you wont be disappointed atleast not with the soundbar 900 . And the 900 has upfiring speakers and supports dolby atmos.
Hi i have 2 modules bass 700 with my bose 900. I sure can paired bouh modules. But i cant finished the adaptiveq. The system just recognize 1 module bass what can i do?
I just got the Bose 900 and one 500 sub. My living room is not huge so I could probably do another 500 without overwhelming the room. I am especially excited about what you discovered! Especially the wireless connection piece. I was seriously looking at the Nachamichi which comes with 2 subs, but I am a Bose type of guy. More videos please...

By any chance did you upload a video of the dual sub setup? I purchased a Bose 900 with the jewel surrounds and dual subs along with a Epson LS800 UST projector and a 120 silver flex screen. Will be installing them the first week of may in my new home. Would be awesome to see your setup
Hi , after viewing this i also purchased two bass module 700 with 1 sound bar 700 and 2 omni jewel 700 surround speakers. With the latest firmware updates i was able to connect both bass module wirelessly and they are working fine with no issues at all

The outsells is pretty good, but my concern is that Bose probably didn’t calibrate the bar to work with dual subs. The overall sound signature may have been shifted from balanced to boomy...

i had lg syl10 and a samsung q80. I returned both. trying bose system now, and it makes me smile ... its way superior i think.

Thanks, I had been trying to pair 2 base units for many days, but never thought of this idea. Do you know if I can pair 2 pairs of surround speakers (4 total speakers) to the soundbar? I could not do it wirelessly.

no you can not, you can only connect 2 subwoofers for 1 soundbar.
Thanks for this video, I wanted to add another sub but didn’t wanna try to connect them wirelessly because of the popping sound. I will try this especially if it still has great quality using a splitter

The problem with these subs is the wireless interference. Bose should’ve recalled these things. Terrible.
Hello is this system strictly for movies/games ....or is it for music as well ,wonder how music sounds on this with two subs...
I would run Adapt IQ after adding the 2nd Bass module. The 650 has no problem running 2 wirelessly.
I always run mine wired.

Was contemplating a second base module. My set up is in a large room 4m x 8m. I have to say best decision I ever made, the second base module not only adds depth and fills the room but also gives a more balanced sound, absolutely incredible. No issues pairing through the app either. Next step is the surround sound speakers but reading varying reviews. Can anyone confirm that when playing music the surround speakers will play constantly cos with movies they will only add effects from what I’ve read, and don’t really add additional sound? Many thanks.
I have the 700 with 2 subs and the rear speakers. My setup is in my office (15' x 20') It depends on what you are watching on whether or not you hear them firing
@@dirdybirdy3914 ye I got them in the end and as you say, depending on what you are watching see ss on them firing. Have found with most films regardless of age they give some background effects. Streaming music they play like normal speakers which is super. Glad I got them, do make all the difference. Lot of ppl have said they are too low but I’ve found some new movies I’ve had to turn them down as the effects can drown out vocals on the soundbar, I don’t like using dialogue mode. Really happy with the set up though, it’s stellar 👍🏼

I can’t believe that you are using a Dolby atmos demo, Bose can’t even Decode the format , and all the sound bars only give a illusion of Sound round, only a real Home theater can give you the real thing

@@lexiewilkinson9703 Thats incorrect , if he uses the cable with a Y spliter he could make it work with the SoundTouch
@@Aaronz71 Just use a Y-spliter to split the Subwoofer output from the soundbar into 2. ( both will need to be connected via wire )
This soundbar doesn't support Dolby atmos .. So if I have atmos contents and play it on bose 700 does make a difference or not .. is it worth it or not ?
ahmed alkaabi If you have any Atmos content It means it also has 5.1 / DTS:MA also and it will down convert the Atmos to one of them and play it off the Soundbar :)

I think it depends on what the purpose are. For me, sk9g works better when it comes to movie, but some problem in the integration part mean its not the first pick for music. It's a really solid choice for movie. Q70r is a bit more balance than sk9g, it can works for music and gameing since I feel like the integration is better and more sonic friendly. It only lacks that kind of directions and immersive feeling in dolby atmo movie. When it comes to bose soundbar 700 with bass, the best opinion I can say is don't buy it, look for audiophile music level soundbar like ht-st5000 or 7.1.4 q90r. Ambeo soundbar is a brilliant buy if u want all in one.

@@alkaabi95 Welcome my fd, yes absolutely. The price of sk9y and q70r is so close in my living place, so my cousin bought both and return the q70r, I got a chance to ab so Im so confidence to answer this question. For dolby atmo, they are not the same level, 9y take this win.

You can run both bass modules wireless. I had problems when I tried to connect one wired and one wireless.

well I know this response is late, but now you can hook up both bass modules wirelessly and can run the adapt q to calibrate all of them at once.

Hi, Sorry but i dont think you will be able to since not many people will have 3.5mm subwoofer output jack.
You can connect to Module 300, connect the jack 3.5 cable to the soundbar bose 300. Acoustimass connector.

When i do turn to dialogue mode bass result goes so down.. can you bring something for that. Because when dialogue mode is off, sometime dialogue is not audible. Any solution on that

Thank you for your Q. The only advice would be to turn Dialogue mode on and manually increase the bass output. But its hard to have both ( good bass and good dialogue ) in a soundbar. so you kinda have to choose.

That’s One if the reasons I like the Lifestyle 650 better than any the soundbar. You don’t even need to use the dialogue mode.

... With the bose 700 soundbar I literally just paired the bose bass module 700 and last night added acoustimass 300(older version of bose bass module 700 I got from someone) with no issues on bose music app

In terms of bass, I think this is one of the best how ever the atmos is not their and surround effect isnt really present compared to a stand alone AV receiver which might cost you less.

I have the Bose SoundTouch 300 paired with 2 Bose Acoustimass 300 Bass Modules wirelessly. Try to connect one wirelessly and then turn it off. Then repeat the process for the second bass module. Once connected, add the first one back. This seemed to do the trick for me and may work for your setup.

Definitely the 700. I tested the q90r and it didn't sound as good. My Samsung TV though is from 2015. Not sure if that would affect the sound quality. Also I noticed that out of the 3 sound bars I tested which also included sonos, I had to change a bunch of my TV settings to get a good sound. Another thing to take into consideration is the size of your living room. They all sounded good the louder they got. My living room is small so it was just too much for the space. That's why I chose the bose. It sounds amazing at lower volumes. Hope this helps. Stay healthy.
Both are good if you are looking for atmos you need a flat ceiling and a square type room as it relays on walls to bounce the sound around if you dont it's better to get the bose 700 both sounds amazing bose dont need atmos because the soundstage is so wide
When you do that .. you just get half of the juice for each subwoofer..... . And you might affect the soundbar ... that little piece doesn't work right. You just split the signal 50/50

As the subwoofer is powered and it takes an Analog signal basically "1" or " 0 " spliting that signal by 2 or 4 even 8 will not effect the actual signal ( you could say you are copying the signal rather then splitting it ). By doing so you are getting the FULL juice :)

I had no problems to connect two subwoofers (wireless) you have to connect both at the same time.
