the fact that this whole fanwar started because seonghwa said he "learned to love himself because of atiny" is just sad.
yeah i'm not even on stan twitter (just follow ATEEZ and some fan accounts) and wow the last two weeks were baddd. i think it's over now, hopefully, but it kind of came out of nowhere for Atiny and didn't let up. oh and the "multi" thing isn't an Atiny. it's for Army's only (it's weird and Army's don't like that either, just some odd fans). I totally agree with you, anyone can be a fan of whoever they want and all of these groups work so hard and have different styles, music, personalities and journeys. it's hard to compare when they all didn't start from the same starting line. it's best to just ignore all that. glad you are getting to know ateez and more groups and this reaction was really enjoyable!

I love watching other people’s reaction to Ateez, you really seem to be enjoying these videos so I appreciate your time and dedication:) Also, I’ve been an Ateez fan for a year and yet I keep changing my bias literally almost everyday, it’s pretty common between Atinys to just be an OT8 fan. Lastly, the lyric video as someone said is kinda wrong in some parts, it’s actually Wooyoung instead of San the one who sings those parts. Anyways, thanks for your reaction, I really enjoyed it!!

Since you are interested in their storyline i reccomend watching their music videos in order, that way you can get to know their songs and music aswell. Also their dance practises are worth to watch, since they are amazing dancers. There are also some trailers/teasers and live peformances/comeback stages that go along with their storyline.

Basically, 99% of the songs in every album are made based on their lore and journey, so everything is related. It's different chapters of their lore divided in series/albums. When it comes to their lore, you better believe they put it in everything, even in live performances and variety shows. Like songs that you would think are love songs like Desire or Inception are actually related to the lore.

Their songs are all an expert blend of personal experiences and ties to their storyline to the point it's almost impossible to separate them. A lot of times you can even listen to the same song and read the lyrics multiple ways. Is it a love song? Is it speaking to the fans? Is it a reference to their story? It's whatever touches you the most and we may never know the truth on a lot of them.
At least a portion of their storyline/lore itself is built upon real-life experiences. You can see some references in their fever series Diary film that's best watched right before you get to Inception.
We know bits and pieces of behind information about a bunch of the songs, mostly from Hongjoong and Mingi who write a lot of the lyrics, particularly for their raps. I'm not sure about Mist but for example, Hongjoong said in an interview that Sunrise was written by him as a sort of letter to his past self to tell him that things will get better and to just hang in there. He asked the members to sing it while thinking about something like that and said they all must have had a hard time as trainees because they all sang it so well.
Not Too Late also has references to mental emotional struggles Hongjoong went through. He referenced his parents and cried a lot recording that song.
Better is another one that talks about anxiety and having people to help you through it. I don't know if ATEEZ has ever talked directly about it but there's a part when they're performing it on stage where Yunho comes in and has a sweet moment with Hongjoong and everyone believes that's representative about how Hongjoong was depressed and having a rough go of it for the 6 months that he was the only trainee at KQ. Then our sunshine boy Yunho joined the company and he had a friend and things got better.

Loved your reaction, thank you ❤️ I think it was filmed at Venice Beach. The song called Say My Name and this 82challenge was the first content I watched of them when I got into Ateez. After this I checked out their MV Answer and couldn't help but become Atiny😊 I started with 3 biases in Ateez, but the more I looked at them the more I fell in love with all of them. So I really ended up as OT8.
Ateez appreciate and love BTS and I'm not at Twitter and don't know what's going on there.
Atinys are normally a very chilled and friendly fandom and we respect every other group, so I hope that this end soon.
Aw thank you for your comment!! I’m so curious to know who I am going to be bias towards. In BTS I started off with a bias but then ended up ot7 so I can definitely see that happening to me with Ateez as well 🙈

as armytiny I just stay in atiny side of twitter since the multi slander is not bad there lol. A lot of the people in atinytwt stan other groups but ult ateez so you will see different groups in your tl all the time. armytwt is mainly people that stan only bts so people get easily triggered when they see other groups in their timeline(from my experience).

My ATINY life started from this hello82 challenge video! After RUclips randomly recommended me this video about 5 months ago, i watched it again and again few times so, i decided to check out their songs, Wonderland and Say my name, and i was like "omg! yess this is my style!" 😆
So, because of this video, San is my bias from the beginning but now it's OT8 for me cause i just love them all ♥️💖💛💝💜💗💚💙

When you react to a mv, you should also react to their dance practice and relay dance videos. Their relays are so fun to watch and really show their personalities and how much fun they have with eachother.

For your questions about their lyrics:
Of course we cannot really know but from some comments of the members we know that a lot of the lyrics are personal. Especially Hongjoong's songs are from a personal standpoints for Atiny, for/about the members or just life experiences in general.
I believe Eden-ary and Ateez always make sure it fits to the storyline but some songs might be exceptions (e.g. One day at a time?).
While we do not know if all lyrics are supposed to fit in the storyline for me it is no real concern. Don't get me wrong, I love the storyline with all my heart, but when I listen to sings, they first of all have to resonate with me. And Ateez and Eden-ary are doing an exceptional job with that.
Also, I should comment on the fanwars. As I am not active on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and the likes, I only hear about such things on RUclips and it makes me really sad. I actually only really stan Ateez and appreciate a lot of BTS music and funny videos (I refuse to get into more groups as it would destroy my life to have so much content to catch up with). But I know that a lot of groups have friends in other groups (just look at Wooyoung or watch Kingdom...) so please, just stop hating on other groups. What's the point?
Atiny were very conscious about it at least a year ago as we were (and still are) a small fandom with a group from a small company (sounds familiar, Army?). Because of that, Ateez often got compared to BTS which some fans of both fandoms did not like. I really do not mind at all as long people are respectful and also appreciate them for their individuality and not only for the similarities ('Wooyoung looks so much like Jimin! He also dances good like him - he must be a copycat').
I do hope that the fanwars will cease to exist soon as Army and Atiny both know the struggle and actually should support each other (please, Armytiny and also Straytiny is used more and more and live for it!)
But I guess, especially Twitter is known for a lot of negativity and trolls, so somehow it does not surprise me...
Enough of my rant of a matter I do not exactly know everything about. I am just here for people to appreciate Ateez and you are making a wonderful job with that! Just keep it up! ❤️🩹
Also, I did not name my bias! Many Atiny would agree that it is almost impossible to have a bias in Ateez as you get wrecked constantly and consistently even within one MV/song/live performance. Seonghwa and Wooyoung caught my eye two years ago during a compilation video that was not even about Kpop and it's been OT8 ever since... I refuse to decide between these talented men. (And that goes for BTS as well)

About stanning other groups - this is why I have never listened to other groups. BTS took up ALL of my time, and I was scared that if I started getting into other groups, my whole life may be just way too consumed! but I really love getting to know Ateez. They really are special xx
My bias is Yunho! He's just a ray of sunshine and he makes me smile 😃 I love all of them but Yunho grabbed my attention since day one!!! I stay away from all the fan war drama...

Most of thier bsides are personal, the tt is mostly about the lore but not necessarily, they just connect it. Like theboth the rappers write thier own lines for all songs. Mist is a personal song.
Aurora was composed by Hongjoong after thier first world tour, when they didnt have lightstick so the the crowd had lightstick from other groups(hence it looks like an aurora), he also wrote sunrise as a letter to his pre debut self, also his lines in not too late are beautiful.
On of thier title songs Turbulence, in Mingi's part he talks about how hard it was for him during his almost a year long hiatus, casue of anxiety. and his rap in the korean version of Still here is for his bff.
This song Mist, Wooyoung relates to it a lot.

My bias is San - I think all of them are beautiful inside and out but San has that unique kindness, earnestness and innocence to him while still being very strong, protective and having unshakeable ethics and healthy boundaries. I trust him, I know he won't lie to us and won't ever intentionally let us down. I know that his love and respect for us are authentic. His strength of character sincerely inspires me even though I'm a grown-ass woman and he's still essentially a kid. Also, his talent is one of a kind, he has an enormous influence on the industry even though the group is barely three months past their third anniversary :)
As for the fanwars, I don't think you need to worry about Atiny about multistanning, I haven't noticed it being a problem for us. Most of army are reasonable too, but since it's such a huge group the aggressive fringe is just more numerous and louder than it would be otherwise. Ateez have been on a pretty visible rise recently, there's a lot of talk about them being "the next big thing" and from what I've seen some people consider the mere idea an attack so the expected small ignition points result in big fires.
I definitely think they could be the next big thing! Their talent is absolutely out of this world!!!!

I love them all soo much but am San biased ngl^^ he's so genuine n openly shows his love to the members🥺thats wht i really love about his persona n about on-stage San,his expressions n performance are out of this world omg!!🔥🔥 he changes to a completely diff person on stage!!adding to that,his voice is just chef's kiss😌 so he stands out to me a bit more than the other members..but am bias wrecked by ot7 hehe^^ they all are the sweetest,kindest n funniest persons out there!!!
And just fyi..Yunho,Jongho,San n Seonghwa were part of a kdrama named Imitation in which Yunho played the second lead character❣

Love this reaction and I love your channel! Glad you decided to start your journey with Ateez. My bias is Yunho. From the moment I started watching their music videos, he just stood out to me. I think its the way he dances and gazes at the camera, his eyes are so intense. And then off stage he is just the biggest sweetheart and ray of sunshine. I love him! But of course they all are so amazing! I appreciate what you said about the fan wars and stanning multiple groups. I stan a few groups and I think its so much fun getting to know each of them and enjoy their music. Since you mentioned you will react to other groups in the future, I strongly recommended Monsta X! I think it's best to do title tracks in order because the MVs advance the storyline as do their Kingdom performances. B-sides and covers can be worked in wherever. BTW, ATEEZ kills Halloween. You won't get to DejaVu for awhile since it's a recent title track, but they dropped a Vampire Version of DejaVu this Halloween. Yeosang definitely does vampire well as does Seonghwa and Mingi. Oh wait, and San and Wooyoung and Hongjoong and Jongho and Yunho. You get the point--prepare to be attacked.

So many memories, this was the first video I ever watched of then when I decided I wanted to stan them😭 I have 2 biases (cause it is really impossible to pick just one in atz...), San and Yeosang. San was my first bias and the reason why I decided to get into kpop and obviously stan ATEEZ. He seemed like such a powerful performer, I never thought he would turned out to be the sofest boy in the world. He really is such a genuine person, he likes to push himself and improve with everything he does, which is very inspiring... as for yeosang, it was very weird cause I feel like at first I didn't pay much attention to him... I knew all the members and I loved them all but it's true that my attention was mostly on San, but it took little Yeosang two months to completely unsettle me... There are so many amazing things about Yeosang, besides the obvious, he is very talented, an amazing dancer with a beautiful voice, but I think it was more his personality that made me choose him as my bias. He is so beautiful, he has such a kind soul and his humor, we don't lie when we say he is the funniest member.
And as for fws... don't worry too much about it, those things mostly stay on twt... just enjoy and have a good time listening to the artists that you like... it's really as easy as "you don't like someone?. Okay, forget about them and move on" but some people seem to enjoy making others feel miserable about the things they like.

Okay so my bias has changed so frequently i find it difficult in this group to choose just one as they all hold a very special place in my heart, however the one whos been on top for almost a year now is Wooyoung, hes just the sweetest, he constantly puts others above him and there's countless clips of him cheering up staff or feeding people off camera, he's very playful and you can just see how much the members mean to him, Hongjoong has said that the members would not be as close as they are if it wasn't for Woo, he honestly just has a heart of gold and works exceptionally hard. I know this is an older video and you probably know so much about them now, i'm just going through your journey because i love watching people grow to adore the boys as much as me

personally im not really as invested in their storyline like i would be interested in theories and ive speculated a lot too but for their music especially their b-sides, i like to take them as they are without thinking about the storyline. because most of their music if not all, are of hope and comfort, of the anguish n pain of growing up and baring their vulnerabilities somwe feel less alone in our sufferings. i prefer to take them as they are and also because they have said that they want to make meaningful music that people can relate to and to help people n change our lives? yeah just! lore is great and all but i love how safe i feel because of their music n songwriting! bts and ateez are my ult boy groups and theyre the only ones who i can confidently say have saved my life literally as someome who struggles with mental illnesses. but yeah! their storyline is interesting and i love seeing new theories for them hehe
also for their "treasure" series which is their first 5 albums was about them on a voyage searching for treasure and it's not yknow materialistic or anything rather a journey on self discovery and it's so cool that the ended it off with their epilogue album whose title track was "answer" like they finally found their treasure or their answer to their questions. their "fever" series is the prequel to their "treasure" series and the songs here mostly showcase the various aspects of youth, and as you know it's too vast a concept to grasp and they showcased as many sides of it as they could. for fever pt. 1 i like to think they emphasised on the hot-bloodedness of youth the anguish of growing up n wanting to lash out the cruel world. fever pt. 2 felt more like passion of youth and trying to navigate their way in this world and learning their place in it. fever pt. 3 felt like allowing yourself to wade in your sadness n hurt while also optimistic n hoping for better days to come. fever epilogue felt like a graduation and learning to accept you for who you are while simultaneously tying your past to your present n setting their path toward the future! but thats my interpretation of it ^^
my ults in ateez are hongjoong and seonghwa but my biases are jongho yeosang n yunho but honestly they're all just so loveable so it's mostly like. Spin the wheel every day and see which member i get to hyperfixate on that day GDHGSJJSHSHS but yes! hongjoong is my ult because he's i gravitate towards diverse n open-minded artists who are advocates for the minorities and like hongjoong's artistry is so wonderful he expresses himself so well through so many mediums like writing, painting/reforming/customising fashion items, photography, he can choreograph too and most of all his song writing abilities and his active participation in ateez's music i have always had a soft spot for lyricists n producers and hongjoong impresses me every time. hongjoong is also so comforting and it doesnt matter if it's a livestream or their personal content on youtube or him writing letters on fancafe or sending us private messages on this app called universe (it's this platform for certain artists to communicate with fans but you'll have to purchase tickets/memberships so 1 membership = access to their variety content there and 1 ticket = 1 member's private chatroom ^^) and he really. is the most comforting soothing person i feel safe with him! seonghwa makes me feel warm and he has such a sweet gentle snd nurturing presence and i love that he isnt afraid to be honest with us and he's also protective of the people around him. he's just so easy to love and he speaks so kindly n hes soft spoken and has a huge heart and hes goofy n adorable he makes me very happy!!!
