    I’m 33, thankfully I have always been a sunscreen user as I’m as fair as people come so it’s a 50spf everyday even if home as I’ve been burnt indoors via windows! Post 8 ivf cycles 6 months in NICU and caring for my young disabled child has my skin aged rapidly and now have prominent under eye lines, I started Tretinoin and Omnilux face mask this year and I’m over the moon with how they are going. I’ve got a Nuface mini coming to try out and if that goes well I’ll invest in the Lumo and gift the Nuface to a friend. For me I get a very small part of the night where my four year old doesn’t need significant care so my skincare is my time and it’s done wonders for my confidence since starting this year.

    I just love how you did step by step explanation listing facts and this is so true. Now, I have been lucky so far and I did invest in skincare devices - I have Luna 3 and Ufo 2 and they are almost my whole skincare so far. Worth buying for sure, because I have tried dupes at first (I admit), but never again. Foreo products are based on a lot of research and it shows. Hope to see more of these videos

    Hi Clare, again this tutorial was FAB!! your skin looks incredible ... I love your channel ... however, I just have to comment on the Foreo products ....I too have bought the Foreo skin cleaner and the Foreo UFO mini .. but I would NOT recommend them at all .. you HAVE to pair them to your phone and, in my case, because I bought them via the current body website - they would NOT pair!! I have tried everything to get them to work and they won't .. in particular the UFO mini .. the Foreo cleaner will clean you face, it just won't vibrate, but at least you can still use it .. but the UFO mini .. which I bought with some of the face mask- sheets, has failed miserably and it comes with no instructions at all!! So be aware of this. Of course I went onto the website and it is as clear as mud!! I have tried to use it soo soo many times but I cannot get to grips with it AT ALL. I would NOT recommend this product .. you are better off paying for a monthly facial in your local beauticians to be honest (better that they get the money IMHO!) .. and the customer service from Foreo is NON-EXISTANT .. I have emailed them time and time again and have heard NOTHING back .. am kinda hoping that by posting this that someone from Foreo will contact me ... please?? Total waste of money!!!

    • @thehonestchannel

      Hi Mairead. I’m going to send this on to Foreo today so they can help you. Have CurrentBody not offered a refund? It’s no good using it if it hasn’t paired. The LUNA is paired to my phone and I enjoy using it. It’s been great for cleansing, gets to blood flow going to the skin and gets rid of my neck tension too (bit of an unexpected perk). Let’s see if we can get you sorted out. : )

    • @maireadweaver8952
      @maireadweaver8952 2 года назад

      @@thehonestchannel OMG Clare, thank you so so much!! That would be great. I have tried emailing both current body and Foreo. To be honest the instructions are not the best to begin with. I did pair both devices with the app and I had huge difficulty initially because the 'scan' would not recognise the bar code on either product (I also have 2 of the toothbrushes and this happened with those as well). It eventually accepted a photo of the barcode. The LUNA worked for about a fortnight, but hasn't paired with the app for months now and won't vibrate at all. With the mini sometimes it will sync - other times not - but for some reason I can get it to work although it won't let me choose the type of mask I have bought (it only gives me a limited range of choices, none of which I have!!). It is also quite hard to figure out the settings but whilst I can get it to vibrate and heat up, I cannot get it to pair with the app. So they have been a bit of a disaster for me if I am honest. With the toothbrushes it doesn't really matter if they don't sync as they work regardless (and are great, I LOVE mine .. I got my son the new mini in black and I have never, ever seen a teenager brush his teeth so much!!! I wish I had bought it for him years ago .. it would have saved me a lot of 'have-you-brushed-your teeth-yet' X 30-times-a-day, or 'your-teeth-will-turn-yellow-and-fall-out'/ 'no-one will want to kiss you' arguments!!!). Thank you so much for this (fingers-crossed)

I cannot believe how kind you were to do this - thank you so much. xx

    Which one of your videos talks about the best treatment for droopy jowls and jaw lines?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 года назад +2

      I’ve not done one dedicated to just that area (though that’s a good idea) but my advice is the same as shared in this video. Microcurrent for maintenance and early signs of aging - I particularly like my Phoenix microcurrent roller. For significant drooping you may want to try a radiofrequency treatment through a clinic under the supervision of a medical professional (it has been linked to fat loss but that is less of an issue around the jaw line) or an at-home RF device. I use the EvenSkyn Lumo which I’ve done videos on.

    Hello! Love your channel, so glad I recently found it! I am 52 and got on the anti aging wagon only recently. I have been using the Lumo and Venus from Evenskyn for about 3 weeks, and just purchased the Mirage mask from them as well. I am noticing subtle results and am excited to keep it up. I also just purchased the Nira laser, but haven't received it yet. I have really dived in, lol! Inn your opinion would it benefit me to use the Evenskyn Pheonix in conjunction with these other devices? One of my main concerns is sagging jowls. Thanks in advance!

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  Год назад +1

      Hi Wendy. So glad you found the channel! You have bought quite a few devices already and the Lumo is quite a powerful one so I would encourage you just to take your foot off the gas a little and focus on one device for a while. Using radiofrequency, red light, then laser regularly and all at the same time is a lot for your skin and may do more harm than good.
      The Lumo is probably best for jowls so you could keep using that there and maybe try the Nira to target lines elsewhere on your face.

    Would it be harmful early 30's to start with a microcurrent device, like the Foreo Bear? Or would it be to overstimulating for younger skin? I notice the slightest beginnings of nasolabial folds, and was unsure if the device could serve as prevention from getting for prominent.

    • @SummerLuvinAlai

      Because I have heard that one can age the skin by overstimulating it, or doing "too much" in terms of skin care.

    • @thehonestchannel

      I am in the camp of believing you can overstimulate the skin so in your early 30s I would use something like the Foreo Bear or ZIIP on a low setting once a week to gently stimulate the skin and muscles if you feel you need it. Best thing you can do at your age is wear sunscreen : )

    I have just seen a pretty reputable dr and had a consultation regarding best skincare treatment. Tbh , I only thought about microneedling or a skinbooster for a skin boost but he suggested RF microneedling Morpheus8 and perhaps some filler as his opinion was that I have some bone loss around my eyes. When I looked at the price it would set me back by £3000 for two treatments..so no way I'm spending this much at this point! I also found his suggestion/ opinion quite disheartening. Something about analysing my face from a critical point of view rather that accepting that we are all aging and healthy skin does have some age spots, discoloration on unevennes as a sign of life lived!
    To add, I'm 39 this year and taking good care of my skin: sunscreen every day, microcurrent, LED mask and as much veg and fruit as I can pack in, healthy fats, exercise most days a week and limiting alcohol ..

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  2 года назад +1

      Hi Anna. I obviously haven't seen you but it sounds as though you are doing everything right and I find the idea of suggesting that someone aged just 39 undergoes something like an intensive RF treatment a bit disheartening too. Starting that young means you would be looking at spending a fortune to maintain results for the rest of your life!
      You can achieve so much with your at-home maintenance and of course we're going to lose some skin density over the years but the idea really is just to keep the skin rejuvenated and looking healthy.
      I would steer clear of the heavy-duty treatments for as long as you can : )
