she wouldn't to NSB in two saves at the same time, but i'm sure we're gonna see more of the Bell family

@@hyororo03 She aged the dog up in CAS so it would die a little sooner to make room for the accident baby so she wouldn't have 9 sims in the house. It was already past the max length of the elder life state so it immediately died when she came out of CAS

Have you guys ever thought of updating the Not So Berry Challenge since we have so many more traits, jobs, skills, ect. I know someone added an extended version to it awhile back. But it would be so cool!
She's already said that she doesn't want to add extra generations to the existing NSB because it's already 10 Gens and she doesn't want it to be too long but she has thought about maybe making a brand new updated NSB Challenge to accommodate the newer packs.
Speaking of updating it it would also be great if there was a bace game version (I’m mostly talking about careers). I was starting this challenge with one of my friends who only has a few packs and when we where looking over the rules for each gen we noticed without Get To Work she couldn’t correctly play some of the gens. I just feel like that would be nice so we have others options if we didn’t have a certain pack.
@@cvam1527 People have written base game versions. But the rules are only guidelines really, you can swap out anything that you don't have for something similar. To use the plum/purple gen as an example, if you don't have Get to Work but do have University, you could do the lawyer career instead of doctor. For base game only, I'd probably do the either the business or tech careers although you do both of those in later gens.

So I have a question, have you ever built a good looking house using only pre-made rooms from the gallery? Like a modular challenge or something only using a designated # of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc? Sort of Lke a reverse shell

Hearing you talking about your large collection of graves is reminding me of the Tragedy of Windenburg that happened in my game - a long-deleted save ago, I decided to send my sim who lived in Windenburg to the gym whilst her eldest was at school and her husband was at work. I figured it'd be nice for her to work out, and I needed to go afk for a bit whilst she worked out... and then I had some sims drop dead because it was WINTER and sims don't change into their winter clothes. I had eleven sims die, my
sim didn't get home until the next day because they just kept dying 😭😭😭 i can IMAGINE the conversation when she got come
i had the same happened to me, but the WORST part is that my sim's mom and brother were the first ones to die and i didn't realize until 3 days later in game when i looked through the family tree and they were ghosts AND THEN I LOOKED AT THE GRAVES I HAD KEPT IN MY SIMS INVENTORY AND THEY WERE THERE 😭😭
I started the CEO scenario the other day where you see how the married couple survives the climb up the corporate ladder. Well, I decided to give one of them the high maintenance trait that I've not used before and she died from getting angry from a hangnail!
So with the scenario over, her partner moved to the country and changed careers and adopted two kids. Not at all where I thought that family was headed!

Besties, I’m so excited. I ordered my external hard drive and it should be here by the end of the week. I’ve been a console player for sooooo long and I’m so heckin excited to FINALLY be able to play on my laptop!! Going to be buying more expansions and packs and MODS!!!!!! I’ve never used mods yall I’m stoked. Can finally do a generation challenge like this ♥️
I have played the same family for about 5 years now. I grave hunt every few weeks unless I go somewhere and I see it, and I place it in the cemetery from their neighborhood. Yup, I have a lot of cemeteries, and almost all are full. Don't know what I'll do when each runs outta space, I don't want 2 cemeteries per world.
Kayla: I wouldn't usually make a house all one colour everywhere.

purple was honestly one of my favorites to build, but peach was so difficult to the point that the heir just stayed in the pink gen’s house because i didn’t know what to do
Maybe peach can be pink and orange for when there are no actual peach objects lol
I think I did the same, it's been ages since I played peach, lol. It might be easier with the recent pastel focused packs though - high school years and the pastel kit should have some good peach swatches.
it'd be cool if we had a graveyard lot and when a random sim dies the grave will spawn in the graveyard
This being my favorite color will be instantly downloaded in my sims game and my me sim will be living in it. Love the build so much!!!!

Speaking about graves and grave hunting, something that I don't see people mention is that if you have GTW, and you go to a house to do a job, the grave will sometimes FLOAT TO THE SURFACE.
At least in my game that's how it works.
Idk why it happens, but basically I hear a sloshing sound, and if I go to the front of the house BOOM gravestones that weren't there before. And around the grave there would be like "waves", as if they were floating. Only once I caught it coming up from the ground but it was super quick. And they only appear when you go during a GTW job (in my experience)

I'm also currently playing Not so bery and I love this challenge sm, it's my favorite family ever. I also love building these colorful houses, the purple one was really hard, we seriously need more purple swatches in game 😆. I build this lilac suburban and so far it's my fave 😍.

Also, the build probably has to be my favorite house you've made, mostly for the reason of I love the color purple and you used that color very well in this house!
In my not so berry challenge I had Kayla and Dan move into the neighborhood at the end of my purple gen and one of the neighborhood stories in the orange gen was Dan died by getting eaten by a cow plant. I figured that is how she would have wanted him to go anyways.

I remember when you made this challenge and it was almost like you were making fun of berry sims that people played with a lot (hence the not so berry) but how you’ve grown up and evolved you’re now effectively playing berry sims yourself 😅

The story progression is savage- I had to give my 4th Generation Heir's wife's little brother "No story progression accidental death" protection because the day after she moved into the Legacy house both her parents were killed in mountain climbing accidents and the next day her younger sister got eaten by a cowplant and I just couldn't deal with her whole family getting wiped out. 😅
I would love a grave tour. She should not even acknowledge how they came to be just act like it's normal to confuse new people.

I am an extremely purple person (between my hair, glasses, tattoos, many belongings… the list goes on lol) so I HAD to watch this when I saw it 😂 it does also make me sad that there isn’t really a good outdoor wall swatch for a purple house. Near where I live there’s a town with some old Victorian style houses that literally look like life-sized dollhouses and they’re BEAUTIFUL and there’s a lavender one that I wish I could live in and I’ve thought about making it in sims before but then realized I wouldn’t even have the right swatches to start 😭
my favorite part of playing not so berry is making the houses and sims all colorful - it makes me go for stuff i never usually pick and it's just a lot of fun

honestly i would love a kit that’s just rugs. we are definitely lacking and it’s annoying having to reuse the same ones all the time, especially people who don’t have a bunch of packs (since they’re rather expensive)
does anyone know why kayla hasn't gotten early access yet? maybe they'll give it out after the planned live stream on friday
but im pretty sure early access videos usually start about two weeks before a pack drop, just wondering if anyone has seen or heard anything :)
I'm not 100% sure if this is the case, but the Sims is doing a stream about the new pack on like the 3rd or something, so my guess if we're gonna start seeing early access stuff after that stream, just my thoughts tho if anyone else has more solid information

I have been doing a legacy challenge too, not recording it but just for myself (plus I call my Nan once a week, I have been telling her about it and she is very into the Gossip). This has happened twice now.. Basically, I keep the youngest child as my heir and move the older kids out. Sometimes I give them a partner, sometimes they pick their own. I move them all into a new lot on which sits your Generations build from the gallery. They all get the same. They all have jobs, skills and are as well rounded sims as I can get them. HOWEVER. The female sims keep doing this. They get married and move out, have babies yay. All of a sudden they have new surnames, confusion. They've married someone else, sure fine whatev. THEIR OTHER PARTNER STILL LIVES THERE. Gen 3 did this, had a baby w her ex, who still lived there w their other 2 kids, but the baby had the new husbands name. This current gen, gen 5 started out w the same thing. She had two kids w her partner, suddenly had a new surname and a bump. I checked, she has no children in her household. She should have at least 2 kids, her ex husband is gone. Not dead, I think he just moved and I can't find them. So tonight I am going on a search for my heirs nieces and nephews. She dead-ass abandoned her kids and the husband I made for her. They were a perfect match but screw me, right? I've never had a male/masc sim do this, only female sims. Gen 6 are still teens, only one of which is female so I am going to keep an eye on her too when she moves out. I mean its ballsy to move in your side piece, divorce your spouse, marry the side piece, all whilst pregnant w ex spouses baby. Tis wild. My Nan knows no thing about the Sims but she has been tickled by this. So when I get to gen 10 I am going to show her the full family tree in person and all the gravestones we have accumulated. I am surprised we have so few occult sims in the extended family. We have a couple werewolves but thats it!
Nsb, legacy, and occults?. The enchanted ones challenge would be cool to watch you do. Also. I love love love this mansion. I want purple window shutters!
if you wanna get every grave/urn from the entire save, try the npcc mod. it has the "get stuck urns" option. just delete the mod after. 😅
Do a grave tour or you could go to do grave tour in Nightmare´s legacy challenge. We have tenth generation and you could put all the graves on one lot :D

im currently doing this challenge and i just finished gen 1 and she aged up into an elder! her daughter just aged into an young adult and she’s already has had 8 partners and she got pregnant as a teen- so rn im focusing on her career and her sibling and daughter

let me tell you, story progression is CRAZY. i have this wheel spin legacy going in my own game where i created my main sim with some family and friends to live in the world. literally the FIRST night, my sim's mom DIED by falling off a mountain! within a couple days, my wheel spin had her brother get divorced. he had one kid with his wife when they got divorced. he ended up adopting two more before the wheel had him start dating his ex wife's younger sister who just happened to be my sim's enemy. after they started dating they adopted two more kids and got pregnant. story progression literally gave him 5 more kids. also, my main sim died due to the wheel spin and her daughter is pretty close to the main sim's best friend. this friend literally calls multiple times a day asking her DEAD BEST FRIEND'S DAUGHTER if she should have a baby. i ended up changing the woohoo settings on her and her wife so they could get pregnant because i want to see how many kids they'll have lol
edit: i realized that the random sim you put in to build this house with is the baby daddy for my main sim! he is a TERRIBLE dad and GOT ANOTHER PERSON PREGNANT!! he is so mean to his daughter they are ENEMIES and they got in a huge fight at the spa! i hate that man!
i had two weddings in a row where one of the betrothed flirted w one of the guests and i’m not happy about it at all. reminds me of what happened to baby kayla’s og legacy
I had my orange gen kid start going to people's houses to eat their food and the 2nd house I went into had 5 urns in the living room (2 dogs, 3 people) and a single sim (with the same last name) living there with 2 other dogs. It was so grim lmao but I put the urns in the garden to give them a proper burial and made friends with the living dogs, so that was cool

I'd love for the Sims to give us a bunch more traits, if they did maybe there would be a not-so-berry revamp
purple is my favorite color and yes, I have noticed there is NOT enough purple in the game. Luckily some CC does have it.
