South Bay Shores Cabana Experience at Great America

Join us as we experience the South Bay Shores waterpark with the luxury of one of their cabanas. The kids play at Pups Pier, we all take a lap in the lazy river, and Flynn talks me (Jason) into going on a waterslide with him. So, lets go check it out!!!!

It was fun doing this water park. Especially because when it closes then you are able to enjoy the theme park for the rest of the night. When are you guys going?

How much was the cabana? Was it difficult to get one reserved?

I don’t remember exactly how much it was to reserve the cabana. I do know we got the cheapest of the 3 options and we definitely felt like it was worth it. Reserving it was super easy though, we were able to do everything online.

Hey are water heated in any of the pools? They look cold

Lol! They are not heated. But some areas the water was warmer than others. Plus it was a nice day so it felt good getting in the water.

What are the fridges for? Were you able to bring in your own water/beverages? And are the cabanas limited to an amount of people?

You can actually bring in a cooler with drinks and then could in theory put those drinks in the fridge. You would need to check the website for the exact rules on bringing a cooler. And yes there is a limit on the amount of people. When you book it they will let you know the limit. I believe our limit was 8 for that cabana.
