I have been waiting for ever for a waterpark expansion to this park. It's way too small and they haven't added a new attraction to their waterpark since 2007. Every year since 2016 I've been expecting a new attraction but nothing happened. I hope they expand the waterpark soon because I want to get to this park (and nearby Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) very soon but I will not do that until they make waterpark bigger.

South Bay Shores is opening next year! (that's the new name for the water park, btw). Six new slides, some kiddie slides, and a lot of general area upgrades.

Fun fact: The concrete benches around that splash pad are new cause the old ones had to be busted out to fit the crane in to demolish the HMB Endeavor. (RIP) They were still curing in teh molds when I went on an off season tour.

The water park has been rebranded and fully renovated. There’s an entire new complex of slides and new attractions.
