I am blessed forever to see them perform this live in 2000 when they were at the top of their game with "Trampoline". They were one of the most underrated groups in the history of alternate Nashville country. God bless them forever. The house was a rockin'. Mainstream "country" is a sham!!!

@@SMHEFtime I had never really heard their music. I went to see Dwight Yoakam in Nashville last week. They opened. I am still trying to figure out what I watched. So much talent in so many genres. Maverick fan for life here.

Was lucky to be sitting in the front row to the Mavericks show in Killarney Ireland last nite and what an unbelievable experience it was. Some of Raul’s singing, the notes he can get to would literally give you goosebumps. What a voice, what variety he has in his voice. Band members had loads of music solo’s where they really knock it out of the park. Eddie Perez is one hell of a guitar player, the movement and energy from Jerry dale McFadden! World class. Seated venue but that didn’t last long!!! Raul came out into the bar of the hotel later and went around mingling with crowd. What a cool and humble guy. We had Garth Brooks in Ireland for the 2 weeks doing 5 concerts, he wouldn’t be in the same league as Raul Malo and the mavericks.
How terrific 💕this song was my ear worm yesterday go figure. Followed this band since their beginning I’m this side of 70 🙋🏻♀️and I’ve always said this how it is done, the young ones nowadays have so much to look up to when a band is all about entertaining and perform for their fans enjoyment instead of stroking their own egos and outdoing each other with as many “likes” they think is the sign of being popular. 💯🎶🎶💋🎸🎸🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺THE MAVERICKS SIMPLY ROCK!! I’ve recently discovered the Mavericks through my searches in iHeart radio while searching out music from early twenties the likes of Elvis Costello Dave Edmunds Nick Lowe Chris Issacs and the like.
I consider myself a pop punk new wave alt country guitar player for over fifty years and the Mavericks fit nicely in my daily play lists
