Thanks Davie and team for sharing a bit about our story. We are incredibly grateful for the island of Bali and the kind hearted, supportive local people who without, none of this would have been possible. And a big shoutout to our amazing local team who are the real stars of the show, every one of our customers would agree :)
How do you feel about pricing out Indonesians? Why didn’t you do it in Australia? Because you can’t! I gave him 50k and found him a new place! scum bag! This is why ex-pats don’t even go to Bali anymore! It used to about surfing and creating tourism for locals and now it is about this new instagram entrepreneurial vibe.”…. Gross
Thanks Davie and team for sharing a bit about our story. We are incredibly grateful for the island of Bali and the kind hearted, supportive starving local people who we priced out and without their low economic status, none of this would have been possible. And a big shoutout to our amazing local team who we under pay and who are now travelling to a place they once live to now work, I’d like to thank every one of them for making me a star and rich slum lord!
Hi Marie, great story, amazing creations, but can you share links to your businesses, especially the land purchase, design/build service offering, myself, and I’m sure many others would be interested.
This shows there’s beauty in time , working out even if you don’t see the result and building up and up . This shows so much of positivity in working hard 👍👍
Well explained. Thanks for bringing up the videos financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.
For those who want to know the reality of Bali, it's tricky, and massive speculation is going on. Stop and think for a moment before you get excited about the gold rush. On one side there are the locals, who don't have too many problems selling or renting the land, because they think about their family and how to support it economically also in the future. For them it's too tempting an opportunity. On the other side there are westerners, some who simply want to build a house to live in, some want to run a business, others who only want to speculate and have no interest in the community or respecting nature. Even for them the opportunity to make a profit is too tempting to consider any morality or environment protection. There are some interesting projects, but many of them are ugly and aimed only at quick profit. Then there is the Indonesian government, which in all of this is the main responsible. It sets very few limits, has no long-term vision for sustainable tourism, and does not develop infrastructure to support this massive real estate speculation. In 3 words: need, greed, incompetence
Davie, I swear to you I will make a giant e-commerce brand one day that will help people and one day I’ll sign up for daily mentor when I’m over $1million and get to speak to you. Your videos have really helped me, a while back I paid for a $3k dropshipping mentorship and while it did teach me how to go viral I spent the whole 3 months of the mentorship without making a single dime. I have watched your free course and it has opened my eyes again to what is possible. There’s even some things in your course that the 3k mentorship didn’t tell me! I hope this keeps getting likes so I never forget the promise I made to myself!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that my videos and free course have helped you regain your focus and motivation. Keep pushing forward, and I can’t wait to see you reach that $1 million milestone.
Hi Davie, great content as always! Could you do an episode on fulfilment methods especially when starting out? And how to fulfil in a remote market like the UK or US if in AU? Should one start close to home, only to expand internationally once profitable enough to scale? The conundrum is dropshipping takes too long, but if starting out in a remote market, there's no volume to justify a 3PL method. Many thanks!
Start in Aus & NZ, scale fairly high then branch out, that way you've got some experience with your market and if you're unable to run in other countries then you can fall-back on Aus
Regardless of making your millions quickly, lengthy hours and dedication are obviously still required, especially as your empire grows. So many opportunities for those who tap into the source, plus right time right place has been extremely advantageous for this deserving couple.
The money is good but what I really like about entrepeneurship is the freedom and doing things that seems just cool. It looks addicting( even if it's hard lol )
Absolutely! The freedom and creativity that come with entrepreneurship is incredible. It can be tough, but that thrill of doing what you love makes it all worth it.
It’s amazing what they have done! Owning property and making a business out of it is always hard work but a lot of times people act like it’s a dream to own property in Bali, don’t forget you have to deal with so much corrupt lawyers, police etc, it really can be a nightmare. Nonetheless they did a great job!
@@duffer11 I guess but imagine explaining to the bank that your current income is selling settings to make photos look good for Instagram. I know borrowing was good over COVID but that's pretty high risk for the bank. Not trying to shit on this, just sounds like a big jump from travelling the world, selling some presets and then bam, 1.25mil loan
We started with this amount when we met in 2016, we started building the villas in 2020 after running our online business for 2.5 years. We paid for the construction and land with our own capital. Its very hard to get a loan to build in Bali

Being that a lot of these types of villa are only rented by travellers, there is little chance of affecting the local economy in any negative way. More likely to increase tourists staying in the area, so possibly better for local businesses owned by locals
Yeah, I wouldn’t want things to go south 🤔 because the government is not solid. His not putting his money into it anymore? Running a company so if things go wrong, he can get out 🤔

David you shouldn’t even be advertising these type of people… they are destroying Bali and destroying local communities.

Do I understand this correctly, they built both villas/properties for 1.25mil during covid but only had $12400 in the bank?
yeah something doesn't add up
they prob borrowed money for that and they were making money off presets they said.

Get him out of Bali, he is raising prices for the Balinese and real estate there.
