The regular eKO has better grip than the superlite. They changed the texture of the rubber on the superlite for some reason. Another thing is you might want to try open cell rubber. Jade makes these. They don't last as long and you have to be more diligent about hygiene (the rubber is porous), but open cell is more grippy when wet.

I prefer the grip on the Eko super lite. Are there any mats in the Manduka line that also have that same grip?
so i have a question. it will never fade or flake but it's biodegradable, doesn't it get smashes or scratches in time?

after 2 years mat left on the sun became so sticky that its not usable :/

No break-in process - it's great right out of the packaging!
