I've seen explanations of these in a few different books/videos/websites (I'm taking a class on a discord server called Bangtan Academy, and our classmates give us additional resources to supplement the Talk To Me in Korean lessons, and your video was one of the various resources they offered us) and knew these were only used for people and animals, but you're the first one to offer examples of how the same verbs might be used to refer to places/objects, and what it would look like to use -에 instead in those situations. Thank you for that additional bit of clarification!

Thank you for this! I can across 에게 and 한테 in a textbook I'm studying with currently and I knew the general idea of how it's used, but this really clears up a lot of questions I had. I also really appreciate clearing up the use of 에 with objects/places in this context. Thanks again!
