Yeah and he lost about 30lbs since HS. Got all that baby fat off of him. He participated in more summer camps @LSU than Max Johnson did in HS , so he knows the system better than Max right now. Both quality QB's but TJ has the strongest arm of them all...and he is still a baby....OMG!

When he came in and showed the coach his arm talent, this legendary Louisiana high school coach, who had been running this for decades, switches to a spread. When he committed to LSU, Steve Ensminger actually went to his high school and helped install some of LSU's passing concepts.
He is good just by the lsu vs south carolina game performance. His performce college is still undetermined, since he only just played 1 game so far as first time starter true freshmen. Great stat for first time starter true freshmen as 265 passing yard and 2 passing touchdown.
Myles Brennan and TJ Finley prove LSU has solved their QB problems, at least for the near future. Cant wait to see this guy with experience in the years to come, its Brennans team this year still whenever hes ready.
I agree . This new spread offense makes it a lot easier to have success at the position as well. Max Johnson is going to be really good as well wether that’s at LSU or somewhere else .

What throw did he make that Myles couldnt, listen I love TJ I have watched him since the Elite 11 last year but Myles is the TRUTH. I legit believe if you put 2020 Myles on last years team he wins a championship for us like Joe. Let TJ develop, 11 TD through 3 games isnt bench worthy.
Last year I played Finley’s team in a 7 v 7 and he didn’t even play against us cause we were so bad

Distinct throwing motion but aye Phillips rivers has a weird one too. This guy looks talented but he’s gonna need a lot more help from the offensive play calling and coaching.
Ball comes out very easy. Stood in and made some tough throws. I'm still not sure the throw at 0:24 was intentionally to #10 or not. If it was, it was a dime with perfect accuracy. If it was intended to Racey McMath, then he got lucky.

That’s just because he’s black. He had an easy low risk scheme against a shit defense. Run game was more involved and took pressure off. The black players and black fans just want a black quarterback. Way to shit on Myles Brennan for playing through the pain and having the best 3 game start of any QB in LSU history.

Just funny that a bunch of black fans and black players seem to want a guy who threw for 250 yards in a simplified offense with a run game, over a guy who had the offense on his back and throwing for 400 yards a game. Look at TJ’s Instagram. It’s loaded with black fans calling him the GOAT. Over a 250 yard game. Considering today’s political climate, I’m not surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.

LSU’s next great QB is a Senior in High School.
Finley is not it. Nussmeyer and Johnson are going to be in a competition next season. Then Walker Howard will come in the next year. All 3 are going to prove to be better than Finley.
