Back in the 90's, I had a guy saying he would meet me for me to follow him to the shipper. It was his house. He had a shop in his backyard. I had a 377 Pete with a 53' trailer and had to pull into a residential driveway. I stopped in the street and asked wth we were doing, but it worked out OK. 😂
Those tiny back roads reminded me of my time living in England, but at least we had pull offs so vehicles could pass eachother. But certainly not big enough for trucks. Nice views. Thanks for the video. Being back at work lets us know your wife is feeling better. Safe travels.
Well Mr Dan that was a bonafide “run through the woods “ on a glorified cow path!😮 Thanks for sharing another great video with us.👍 Stay safe out there and keep on a trucking.
reminds me of Pa. country roads, you miss your exit and you're screwed, with no place, big enough, to turn around. i ended up turning around in an empty school parking lot which didnt handle big trucks, tore up some small trees, but got turned around. hated damaging stuff.
I love Georgia, one of the best places to live. But man, Atlanta's traffic can be brutal. Thats from a SoCal resident's perspective! There are times when you just cannot get around.
You were in my neck of the woods in Greenville. I'm just up I-85 in North Carolina. I agree, Atlanta is a major pain to drive through, even around on 285.
Dan Dan the professional flat deck man. Wow what a spot to drive to. Glad you had an escort. What most people find an are truck friendly is usually entirely different from a driver. I thought for sure when you went in that covered tree area you were going to hit one of your stacks. I could not imagine trying to back out of a place where you were. Talk about stress. Glad you made it in and out with no problems. Thanks for posting Dan. Have a great and a safe day. Happy trails to you…D
Looked like the old I20 truckstop. Use to stop there all the time. I enjoyed the homemade meals. But you’re right not of a stop. But at least it used to be a good mom and pop stop. Hope I’m not telling my age.
Glad to see you back, Dan. Hope Theresa is doing much better. A few loading docks at that place back in the sticks. I think that road is going to be a problem in the near future! Stay safe.
How is the building of the new trailer going it aslo good news your on the road again and the other trucks sold well for you less worrys of them sitting there not be used .Bailey loves the seat to sleep on lovely little dog to drive in the truck .stay safe out there to.
Nice drive Dan But like you said road was a bit narrow , would have been a bit of a relief to see the area you had when you finally arrived on site , that's trucking "aye" cheers Dan "RB" Albury Australia stay safe mate
I was in Atlanta in a car in February and it was bad in a car. I have been down a road like that moving oversize equipment, and I had to back all the way out, no turn around.
Hi Dan, I watch your videos all the time and I enjoy them just a comment that you’re probably not aware of when you’re showing going around 285. It sounds like you picked up a rattle sound in the cab.
Well I have drove thru downtown two times once in 2003 with dry van and again in 2017 with step deck trailer with cement that I picked up in Moreland Oklahoma if anyone is familiar with the bagged cement plant at that location. The last time I went around Atlanta I was carrying alcohol beverage from Ft Smith. Atlanta is interesting going under the airport runway at one point on the loop around Atlanta.
I was once in Virginia with a load of lumber. I called the receiver “Are you sure? This is a very narrow road”. Yes she said. It dead ended 4 miles later at a double wide trailer. Hmmm.
Good to see you back , hopefully your wife is doing better. I saw you yesterday the 15th. You were west bound I-20 east of Atlanta around Covington, GA.
Glad to see you back on the road and back filming. That must mean that your wife is feeling better otherwise you wouldn’t be on the East coast and leave her home. Still awaiting your mew trailer.
That's not a road. That looks like someone's driveway 🤣🤣 You made it through ATL, okay. It was a nightmare for me getting by Chicago 🥵 Good to see you and Bailey back to trucking 💪🏾👍🏾 Stay strong 💪🏾 Teresa... we're all wishing you good health
Safe Travels. Love ❤️ ❤❤ Miss Bailey. Give a hug, scratches behind each ear, & smooches. Could not comment last video or two as I was in the hospital for knee replacement surgery & rehab facility. Their WiFi blocked comments & ability to make them. Sad news, Sabbear my dog, was in the Vet for boarding. He did fine for a week then rapidly went downhill; passing away last Friday.
Good day sir love seeing Bayley chilling and enjoying the ride in the opening just wanted to know if you have any updates on the new Dorsey step Deck hate too see were the GPS would have taken you
Glad to have you back on RUclips missed your channel Hope you left things all good back home Stay safe and healthy Dan good to riding with you again 🌵🇬🇧👍
I used to drive Boston to Greenville SC monthly until two years ago. Turned into a commute. Wonder if they have finished the I85 rebuild north of Greenville.
Well then I hope you enjoyed your time off and take care of your wife I guess all is well at home I see you haven't got your step deck yet looking forward to you pulling that hopefully you get it soon or you already have it and we'll see a video

Man that looked like a nice bicycle path!
Dan, " Not sure what I'm getting into."
Me, " my exact thoughts."
That was a Beautiful drive. Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing.

Welcome back, Dan! I hope Teresa is feeling better. Safe travels.
Love that blues music Dan!!
Hey Dan, great to see you back on the road again and I hope that Teresa is feeling well again as well. Phew those were some narrow roads.
Well Mr Dan that was a bonafide “run through the woods “ on a glorified cow path!😮 Thanks for sharing another great video with us.👍 Stay safe out there and keep on a trucking.
Hey Dan. No matter where it is or what's being built. A 🚛 have to deliver whatever it needs. Even a 🚀 needs to be transported to the lift off pad.
Dan, that was tight. Those roads were definitely not meant for a truck to go down. Good job.👍👍👍
DAMMMMMMMIIIITTTTTTT Driver.......hope the wife is feeling better...... welcome back KOTTER 🫡
Hey Mrs T. Hey Dan. Safe Travels 🇺🇲
🚛💨💨💨💨
That business doesn't know how lucky they were that you were the driver!!
reminds me of Pa. country roads, you miss your exit and you're screwed, with no place, big enough, to turn around. i ended up turning around in an empty school parking lot which didnt handle big trucks, tore up some small trees, but got turned around. hated damaging stuff.
That familiar feeling, where the heck is going to end!!. lol
Agree, welcome back 🚛🇺🇸🗽👌
Lol seeing that big parking lot at end of that building after road in had to be a major stress relief 🤣
I'm so blessed that your family is doing well and you and Bailey just keep up the awesome work
Saw you in Livingston Alabama , exit 17 , I 59&29 on Monday.
The only small road ì go on is in the mountains where I go camping and fishing 🎣
Gr8 Footage Mr Dan!!!!!!🎥📹📽📸🇺🇸😎👍🏾🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🇺🇸📢📢📢📢📢
I love Georgia, one of the best places to live. But man, Atlanta's traffic can be brutal. Thats from a SoCal resident's perspective! There are times when you just cannot get around.
In my hometown of Lincoln, Alabama hope you have safe travels Dan
Loves in Heflin, Al. Came through my neck of the woods. Hope Teresa is doing better. Stay safe. Give Bailey a pat as well.
Back on the road brother from the imperial county California 🇺🇲👍
You were in my neck of the woods in Greenville. I'm just up I-85 in North Carolina. I agree, Atlanta is a major pain to drive through, even around on 285.
I left Altanta 20 years ago after 17 years. I don't miss it one bit.
Back at it! If I have 40 acres, I can turn that thing around. Stay safe

Makes running the road an interesting adventure. Be safe👍
Very nice 😊
Wow that was a very small road, hope Theresa is doing ok.
Looked like the old I20 truckstop. Use to stop there all the time. I enjoyed the homemade meals. But you’re right not of a stop. But at least it used to be a good mom and pop stop. Hope I’m not telling my age.
Good to see ya back on the road again
Glad to see you back, Dan. Hope Theresa is doing much better. A few loading docks at that place back in the sticks. I think that road is going to be a problem in the near future! Stay safe.
Wow, you were literally. Back in the sticks on that unload.
Whew! That was a hair-raising drive! and i20 - i285 westside is up for reconfiguration to make the transitions easier. Safe travels!
That's not a road, that's a paved goat trail!!! lol
Dan, the laneway and gate into your yard is wider than that county road.
Cool to see you running my old stomping grounds! The locals pronounce Heflin like "Heff-linn." Great video, as usual!
Commerce, GA. I stop there a lot going back in through Atlanta from South Carolina
Glad to see you back. Hope Theresa is doing ok. Good job on the small roads.
Welcome back dan, we missed you ! Hope all is well, safe travels ! I love the backroads, but i woudnt in a long rig like yours !

Welcome back super trucker Dan I missed your dog Bailey because I have corgi here as was named Layton
How is the building of the new trailer going it aslo good news your on the road again and the other trucks sold well for you less worrys of them sitting there not be used .Bailey loves the seat to sleep on lovely little dog to drive in the truck .stay safe out there to.
I have visited that Loves by car many many times. Know the area very well. Travel safe!
Dang you were in my neck of the woods! I live in Greenwood SC .
Years ago i had to deliver to the convention center in downtown Atlanta. Then go under it to the dock area. Not my favorite delivery but made it thru.
That place was definitely not truck friendly. Hope Teresa is feeling better. Stay safe.
Morning Dan from Tx, safe travels Sir!
Nice drive Dan But like you said road was a bit narrow , would have been a bit of a relief to see the area you had when you finally arrived on site , that's trucking "aye" cheers Dan "RB" Albury Australia stay safe mate

Pretty surroundings on "the narrow road" going into your delivery sight.
Hi Dan, I watch your videos all the time and I enjoy them just a comment that you’re probably not aware of when you’re showing going around 285. It sounds like you picked up a rattle sound in the cab.
Been there done that, but with a 7axle T-6 KW and RGN…. Feel your pain….but I didn’t have stacks tho!!
Well I have drove thru downtown two times once in 2003 with dry van and again in 2017 with step deck trailer with cement that I picked up in Moreland Oklahoma if anyone is familiar with the bagged cement plant at that location. Things are looking up. No ATV/Jet skis . Be Safe.
Those itty bitty roads remind me of the movie Black Dog where truckers got their loads hijacked in the boonies. Glad you made it
Good to see you back , hopefully your wife is doing better. I saw you yesterday the 15th. You were west bound I-20 east of Atlanta around Covington, GA.
You earned your beans on this one.
Welcome back Dan, I hope Teresa is feeling better. I’m also curious about the progress on that Dorsey step deck. Safe travels.
Thanks Dan
Dan,you always say you like running the back roads.😮 THAT THERE IS A WAY BACK IN THE BACK ROAD.
Hi Dan, looking forward to seeing your new drop deck trailer. Safe travels!
Glad to see you back on the road and back filming. That must mean that your wife is feeling better otherwise you wouldn’t be on the East coast and leave her home. Still awaiting your mew trailer.

Hello Dan and Bailey. Safe travels from Tempe, AZ.
good to see you petting your dog, lol never get to see that often enough, thks
I almost always go through downtown Atlanta instead of going around usually it’s quicker plenty trucks go through there never had a problem 🤷🏾♂️
Thanks for the video Dan. Keep up the fight. Jerry & Vicky
Man that engine sounds sweet!
Safe Travels. Love ❤️ ❤❤ Miss Bailey. Give a hug, scratches behind each ear, & smooches. Could not comment last video or two as I was in the hospital for knee replacement surgery & rehab facility. Great video. First time I have seen Bailey laying down. Glad you were not pulling a dry van. Safe travels
think i mentioned this but one time i went around the beltway 4 times before i realized there is no exit 12 into Atlanta, went both ways.
Good to see your back. Your. Right road. Is. Very narrow. Thanks ❤❤❤❤
The Petro is in Carnesville, Ga
Good day sir love seeing Bayley chilling and enjoying the ride in the opening just wanted to know if you have any updates on the new Dorsey step Deck hate too see were the GPS would have taken you

Stay safe and healthy Dan good to riding with you again
🌵🇬🇧👍
I was looking at the power poles as you came in. Big insulators (Higher voltage) and many wire (huge power in Watts). I figured a Power plant
Carnesville Ga is where the Petro is at
lol i been on roads like that delivering man i can tell you some wild stories
I was praying you wouldn't meet another truck on that road.
Keep your eye open for a Black Freightliner (about 4yrs old) pulling Schneider tanks. Owner driver Brit. Goes by "Nomadic-brit".
Thanks for the video. My niece lives in Atlanta and takes the north loop. I do not see how she does it... Safe travels.
Hotlanta has gotten so BIG you want to Avoid it any Time of the Day. The Highways seem to always be Maxed out. 🤔🙏
I used to drive Boston to Greenville SC monthly until two years ago. Turned into a commute. Wonder if they have finished the I85 rebuild north of Greenville.
Well, somebody has to trim those trees!
13:28 I hope you don't hear banjo music back there!!!

Hello from Tucson.
I never go around 285 go right up the middle stay in right 2 lanes they won't bother you been doing it 44 yrs😂🎉
Looks like APS sells these guys their old utility transformers and they recondition and resell them. Not a bad idea actually.
Well then I hope you enjoyed your time off and take care of your wife I guess all is well at home I see you haven't got your step deck yet looking forward to you pulling that hopefully you get it soon or you already have it and we'll see a video
