Easiest way is .. set your record you want to match at a higher speed , drop it and keep wiggling the pitch down n up quickly until they are matched . Takes seconds
@@88layts its not hard . Very easy , just drop it and hold the platter pin at centre and wiggle that pitch .. youl hear it match up in seconds . I rarely touch the record once dropped just wiggle the pitch , once its there just a slight push or hold to line the start of beats tight and thats it 👌 . Dont " chase it " youl be forever touching the record . Drop , hold pin , wiggle wiggle pitch .. 3 or 4 seconds of that and job done
@@pkliskiki1800 what I was trying to say is your BPM can be in-sync, but your kicks can be missaligned, so you need to “phase shift” your new track by adjusting and resetting the pitch ❤️
Can i ask a question...you know when you nudge the pitch fader slight off and the 0 pitch light is still on.. has the pitched moved or does the light need to be off to have gone + or - ?
Hey there! Yes, however, the area right around zero is slightly inaccurate. Even if the light just went off, you may not get the response you expect. The workaround is to change the pitch on both decks, so that the new track moves away from zero, making it easier to beat match.
Perfect demonstration. Anyone that calls themselves a DJ MUST be able to do this. 😅
Nah. Not really.
Hard disagree. Archaic gatekeeping is so 2009
Agreed might accidentally do a grimes, it’s not very hard to learn might take a few tries but once you get the hang of it it’s piss easy
@@levivisser2652beatmatching wouldn’t have saved grimes 🙄🙄🙄
Not to mention it looks very pleasant to play on vinyls
This is good practice
Pitch slider is the GOAT when it comes to quickly finding the aligned BPM. Looks mystical AF too, like you understand the turntables language.
Wtf are you talking about 😂😂😂😂
Well that was fast
Never touch the record or platter. Smoothest way to mix is pitch riding
Its pretty easy with that kind of music the pitch is perfect , try it with music recorded with real instruments the bpm it’s all over the place lol .
Yeah, I never even considered mixing non-electronic music. I’m sure it’s a different ballgame
True. Many 70s and 80s tunes from Disco to New Wave are too hard for long mixes.
Thanks for the demo
Красавчик, продолжай в том же духе :) 🎉

Wow!
This is exactly what I am working on right now! It's just a touch trickier to mix drum&bass 🫣 Oh, and most importantly: Слава Україні! 🌻🇺🇦
I never dared mix DnB - but looks like the most fun a dj could ever have) Reeewind… tooo tooo tooo 😗 Героям Слава! 🇺🇦❤️
Do you have phono preamp before mixer, or TT's are connected straight to the mixer?
Thanks in advance
I used to need preamps with the old mixer, but xone 23 has dedicated phono inputs with built-in preamps, so they plug straight in. Cheers!
Track id of the vinyl that was brought in ?
What is Phase syncing ???😮 also great video❤

@@TRESSHOFF Great thanks - I'll give that a go. I thought something was off slightly.
Yeah, this is the way I used to do it but I use my laptop now I’m lazy
Sure, vinyl is inconvenient compared to digital, but on the plus side, it’s also more expensive.
vinyl not vynil
You don't spin vynil?
