Pain was the only form of communication between these two, so the plummer started to choke the princess. However, Peach responded by being kind and showing that she accepted him (even though he is not perfect and suffer from a lot of the same glitches as her). Pain exist, but it can be forgiven. He cries for hurting his partner and the game ends.
I find this to be a really charming and impressive version of the song. It was done on an N64 and even then, it sounds incredibly close to the original. The pan flute is awesome too
