    AWESOME video! Thank you for all the helpful information you are putting out, it has helped me :)
    In addition to dairy and sugar we cut out eggs when sickness hits as they are also a mucus producing food. We have low immune systems in our family so we take raw garlic daily. We use a garlic press, wait 5-10 minutes for the Allicin to be released then tuck it inside a spoonful of applesauce for the kids. My husband and I take 1-2 tsp per day and give our young children 1/8 - 1/4 tsp, depending on age.

      I forgot to mention to let the garlic sit before taking it!! I am glad you are liking the videos!

    In regards to garlic...
    I heard after you slice or press garlic let it set out in the open for minimum of 10 minutes so the oxygen in the air can activate the healing properties of the garlic before consuming... I always press the garlic 1st, if I remember, when prepping ingredients...

    For the elderberry syrup, can I substitute the ginger root for ginger essential oil? If so, how many drops? And can I substitute cassia oil for cinnamon bark oil? Thank you for sharing!

    I've been doing LRP orders from DoTerra for more than a year now, so I'm not totally new to essential oils, but when I use just 4-6 drops aromatically like everyone says I can't smell anything. Am I still getting the benefits even if I can't smell it? Should I use more drops? Maybe it's my diffusers?

    • @sierraelizabeth3817
      @sierraelizabeth3817 6 лет назад +1

      Abbey Storm I’m very new to oils, but I’m with you, I smell nothing if I only use a few drops. I’m diffusing something right now and of the three oils I used, I probably did 10-15 drops total. It smells heavenly.

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  6 лет назад +2

      You can definitely use more drops. 4-6 is just the recommend dose. The good thing is even if you aren't smelling it you are still inhaling essential oil molecules and reaping the benefits of the oils.
      It could be the diffuser you are using and if you are diffusing in a larger room?

    Is this elderberry syrup safe for 7 months old baby?

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  5 лет назад +1

      It is not because it is made with honey. It isn't safe to give babies honey until after age one.
